This place is "CASH ONLY" so make sure not to embarrass yourself after already placing an order. Why in this day and age are places still "CASH ONLY" beats me. I wonder how much business you are losing Mr. Bloom. I dont carry cash that often and as a customer I hate to be inconvenienced by having to stop by the bank before I go somewhere or by having to pay an extra $5 just to get some money out of an ATM. The Decor was awesome. I had been spying this place out for a couple of weeks after stumbling across them on the net. A 1940s cafe in the middle of Fullerton that is cool. Not excepting credit/debit card in the year 2013 not cool. The menu sound like the food would be very tasty. I was so excited to come here for the first time to try out the famous coffee, breakfast sandwich, and grilled cheese, but I never got to taste any food. I also had high hopes to participate in their open mic, but now I have been turned off by the whole "cash only" thing. The service was great when I ordered, the gentleman who help me was very kind, but too bad I had to cancel my order due to not having any cash.

Max Blooms is a great place to plan your day. The early morning is a great time to sit and have my latte and plan my day. Of course, Sara and Jack (my companion dogs) love to greet everyone as they come to Maxs. They also love their early morning treat of scrambled eggs served by Baxter or Kevin on the patio in front. I have been coming here for over 4 years and we will continue, its like we are visiting family. The evening time at Maxs offers many different and eclectic venues of entertainment. Each time I come I have enjoyed the many different people that visit as well as the entertainment. Please come and spend some time and you too will become a regular at Max Blooms. Its all about the word destiny. I just happened upon Max Blooms for morning coffee,,,art talk and just down right good stuff... And then there is Destiny Dawns Soup !!OMG FANTASTIC !!! WHAT CAN I SAY ... SO FAR EVERY FLAVOR I HAVE TRIED ---AWESOME. So I have like 1/2 cup of Destinys chicken /cumin soup and a leftover chicken, I made more soup and I KNOW it was because of Destiny that my soup turned out so good too.. Thank you Baxter, Fletcher, Kevin and especially DESTINY DAWN for making my visits so very special ... Try it youll like it !! Marybeth

This is a good place. There is a comedy open mic here on Friday nights to support up and comers. Kevin, the guy behind the counter, is pretty chill and respectful. Prices are not that bad, either; its about 4.50 for a sandwich. The atmosphere is unique with the noir posters, books, clothing, and other paraphernalia. Check it out.

Pretty chill little coffee shop fantastic prices but dont be fooled Fullerton is happening town. This place can get loud on the weekend when theres live music. They have an eclectic selection of media VHS tape Books I love this place

Really cool place, love the decorations. The owner, Kevin, is really cool, and allows people and our advisor Jerry Garvin to take over with vocal lessons ($5 per person). Drinks are good. :) Satisfactory

The food is pure homemade goodness; the people are always a cheerful lot; the atmosphere is awesome and they have lots of great events (movie night, open mic, comedy night, etc). Heck yeah!

Great atmosphere. This place has so many great items from the 40s era...if you want a feel of Fullerton this is thr classic coffee house to experience...could be a bit cheaper tho.
