I had a serious craving for nachos. Not just a simple nachos, but nachos with tons of goodies on it. A quick search online, I found El Camino Real in Fullerton. We called in to order for pickup. Our food was ready in 15 minutes. * Asada (Steak) Nachos (1/2 order) Serves with beans, meat, cilantro, onion, tomato, guacamole, cream, and jack & cheddar cheese The Asada Nachos was exactly the kind of nachos I wanted. Tender steak, creamy guacamole, melted cheese all on top of crispy tortillas. This was so good. * Carnitas (Pork) Torta Served with beans, lettuce, jalapenos, jack and cheddar cheese, avocado, tomato, and onion Since we were already there, might as well order a few more items. I got the Carnitas Torta. This was a great sandwich with lots of veggies in it. The pork was very tender, although a bit salty. Bread could be a little softer. Still enjoyed it. * Birria (Red Chili Stewed Beef) Plate Served with rice, beans, and corn or flour tortillas Dr. P ordered Birria plate, and he loved it. The stewed beef was very tender. And he loved the red chili sauce. Glad that we found this Mexican eatery. The food was good and the price is cheap. We definitely will be back again.

The only reason I give them a one star is because when I ordered a large order of ceviche and brought it home to eat and was suprised to bite down on a huge piece of GUM in my ceviche!!! I was devastated! Not because of the gum which was friggen nasty, but because I knew that I could never feel secure about eating there food ever again. So bomb, but how can you eat there knowing thier cooks do that crap?!

The cashier Claudrina took our $26 order gave us 3 salsa cups and a zip baggie. I got back in line to order another $5 order. When I asked her for a zip baggie for the carrots she said no I already gave you one and would not give me one for the second order. She had very poor customer service. We will not be coming back. Its employees like Claudrina that make negative reviews for El Camino Real.

I have liked this place since the very first time trying the food. I usually get burritos or tacos. Each time Ill change up the meat and each time it tastes great. They have spicy carrots which is good stuff. The drinks that are made in house are all delicious as well. The major con is that the meat tends to be dry. If theyre salsa was bad then it would be a major problem.

Had dinner there today. One carne asada burrito and one carnita taco. Both where good but nothing to brag about. Burrito was over loaded with rice, wheres the beans!? Horchata was very sweet. Had to water it down. After doing that it was just right. 4 stars because the taco was very good! It has everything on it including guacamole.

This place is one of my familys favorite places to go. Its a little hole-in-the-wall, but we are never disappointed. The line is a little long, but yes the food is worth it. If youre looking for some good Mexican food, this is the spot. I really like the "sopes", but the other options for food have not been bad at all.

I ordered a chicken quesadilla and when I opened the box, there was only 4 little bite sizes...On top of that it wasnt the kids meal. So I was expecting them to be big, since everywhere Ive gone quesadillas are usually at least medium sized or bigger. I was very disappointed at this, Im never coming back.

definitely one of the best mexican food place saround! The only downside is the long wait, but the wait IS worth it! if your looking for some GREAT carnitas this is the place hands down!!! i love it here! the tacos are delish and their sopes are so good and huge! price is also very reasonable!

Most people they said its good, thas why I give it the try, order time 15 min, food ready an other 25 min, plus when you get your food more than half its cold, I love mexican food and this restaurant its not worth it. This is supposed to be a fast food, well maybe cold food, never came back.

Ive only had a few of their dishes however they were absolutely delicious! I enjoyed the taquitos, the Torta and the enchiladas. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because they could do a little better on the deco/ atmosphere. Other than that the food and staff is great!

So. Good. I love El Camino Real, and this place is where theyre at. I got 7 dozen (!!) to-go for an office party. I gave them a couple days heads up, and it was no problem at all.. Seemed like they could probably handle an order like that without prior notice.

Great Mexican food. Most of the items are delicious delicious, but can be slightly greasy at times. We always come back for the enchiladas and hard shell b beef tacos. Its sad they took away their "liquado" (smoothie) station after the remodel.

Do not believe anyone who doesnt like this place. I was here it was so good I came back the next day. Thats a sign to me. Carnitas, fish tacos, machaca, thats what I had it was all done right and I think I need to be there this weekend actually.

This place may always be busy but let me tell you its so worth the wait, this little hole in the wall staff is always courteous. I recommend the "carne asada (steak) tacos" along with their homemade salsa makes it a great place for a bite.

Great place to grab a bite to eat and for takeout the only sad thing is now that they do not serve lengua anymore due to the cost but well always go back for many other plates they also have a will call that you can phone your order in

This is definitely one of the better Mexican restaurants in the neighborhood. It isnt fancy, but almost everything on the menu (that Ive had) is really good. Their slow cooked meats, particularly their carnitas, are really very good.

A neighborhood landmark with some of the best Mexican food Ive ever had. Ive been eating here for years, and Ive never been disappointed. Id strongly reccomend the chicken enchiladas (# 9).
