Im a huge fan of their lunch buffet. For under 10 bucks you get a great choice of Indian dishes - some of which are daily staples and others that they rotate on a regular basis. Included in the price of the buffet is your choice between garlic or plain nan (spelling?). (thin, crispy, hot out of the oven Indian Bread). The service is consistently friendly and food consistently good. Ive ate at their buffet more times than I can count but Ive yet order off of their regular menu. Oh yeah - desert is included in the buffet and theres usually two different dishes to choose from. Try them all, they seem to get better every time but maybe thats just me aquiring a taste for it. Overall awesome place that I recommend to both Indian food lovers and those who have never tried it.

Ive been here twice-once for the lunch buffet and once for dinner. Its very good. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was because I didnt like their malai kofta, which is one of my favorite dishes. However, the veggie pakora are the best Ive ever had. The lunch buffet is kind of heavy on the meat dishes but had three good vegetarian options. The navratan korma was simply wonderful. The dal makhani and chana masala were also quite good. The service is good. The worst thing about the place is they put both of their televisions to news channels and leave the sound up. I really dont enjoy listening to that while Im eating.

Ive been here about 10 times in the past year but the last 2 times the service and food quality has definately declined. Burnt garlic naan, doughy sweet naan, sloppy buffet, etc. I ordered regular iced tea and got sweet tea. When i requested regular again the waitress rolled her eyes and brought me more sweet tea. I was afraid to ask again for regular tea so i drank water. Then the garlic naan came after we had finished our meal and it was burnt. I tried using the bathroom, but the toilet was broken and there were no paper towels. Ew. I used to love this place but i think ill try other indian restaurants. :(

I love this restaurant for its lunch buffet. Good food here! But its an old, tired room with little attention to decor or atmosphere. Id really enjoy Bollywood films instead of American sports TV, or Indian music instead of TV at all. For that degree of ambience, go to Tandoori Nights on Blackstone. NOTE: Royal Taj has a display case of Indian sweets by the register. Treat yourself to an assorted boxful! They are inexpensive and delicious, and healthier for you than American desserts.

I absolutely love this restaurant. We always come for the lunch buffet and I think this is the best Indian buffet in the valley. There are other great Indian restaurants around here, but this has the best buffet. I love that they always have a good selection of vegetarian dishes, and they always have fish pakora. The food has great flavor and the staff is always friendly and attentive. If you like or love Indian food, this is a must try place.

been there did not treat us . we sited on table no ask for any drink or what we need. they hate their own race. very big attitude. food was OK OK we been there 4-5 times but always show attitude and never gave gud service. if they really want business to grow, they must treat each cust with great attitude and smile. hope they learn and start great service. we waited 15 min to get naan and no drinks we have to stand up and requested for drink.

This place is AMAZING!!!! Ive had multiple things on the menu now, trying almost all new items each time and Ive yet to be disappointed! I cant even say which ones are my favorite! Im kinda addicted! If you havent tried it, you really should!!! And one day I will go in and get the buffet, yet I havent yet. Just order delivery and its so quick and steaming hot and delicious! Seriously! Try this place! You wont regret it!

Absolutely love this place.The owners are fabulous people always welcoming you with warmth. They have some great dishes on the menu ranging from spicy curries to fresh tandoori entrees and the portion size is more than good for the price charged. I absolutely love their "kheer" (rice pudding)! My first choice in town for Indian food or rather I should say home food!

I like to order delivery from here, which is solid, but I went here for the buffet lunch and didnt like it at all. The Tandoori Chicken was dry, and the rest of the food was just okay. It is one of the most expensive Indian lunch buffets in Fresno, so I was hoping for a lot better experience.

Well. They should try to fry masala a bit more. And can add more Indian authentic dishes rather than just Punjabi items. Adding more coconut milk and scrapped coconut in curries and sabjis will make it more delicious.

We had ordered food for a party at home for more than 50 people, food was excellent their samosas, fish Pakoras were a big hit and I recommend this restaurant to all my family and friends. Excellent service.

Bad bad food!!! The daal was too salty had peoples blood pressure going up! The sabji was frozen and tasted disgusting! Gajrela was too runny!! Please work on your cooking!
