We come here often and this is our first review. I usually get the Traditional Eggs Benedict and rarely deviate from that. My wife gets the special omelet with avocados and asparagus. I recommend everyone to come here on Saturdays and enjoy Nate Butler at the piano (9-noon). I loved instrumental background music and his is LIVE...the specials on the board are always great too. They may need to add a coffee pot roamer to get refills for often. Have more specials and change them more often. WELL THIS SAYS ITS BEEN A YEAR SINCE I REVIEWED HERE...WELL I COME HERE AT LEAST TWICE A MONTH...THE BEST BREAKFAST IN TOWN BAR NONE...I ORDERED THE CLASSIC OMELETTE MY WIFE ALWAYS ORDERED...AND NOW I KNOW WHY...IT IS GREAT...G I sometimes come with friends now that my wife has passed away. Most of the time I come in alone. It makes me think of our good meals here. Check out the salads...the Chinese Chicken is amazing....as is the Strawberry, nut, spinach salad....I saw a lady the other day getting the tri-tip cobb salad and it was so good I took a picture of her meal....with her permission of course. I only wish they would get a different RYE BREAD...I do not care for the marble rye.....but I do love the cinnamon bread.

This is my m.i.l.s favorite place to go for breakfast. It is such a beautiful restaurant and the food is really good. However, we have lousy service every single time! We knew it would be crazy-busy on Mothers Day, but since this is where she wanted to go again this year, we made reservations for 7am in hopes to beat the rush. The timing seemed perfect. There were only a few other customers there at that time. Even though the restaurant was practically empty, we still had to wait forever for refills on our coffee, and the waitress seemed annoyed that we ended up having to flag her down for the refills. Also, I think that it is a major jerk move for them to put out different (higher-priced) menus for Mothers Day. And I guess we were too early for the piano music and the customary flower they give to all the moms on the way out the door. Very disappointed.

My wife likes this place, so Im forced to go whenever she wants to go out for breakfast. The food isnt bad, but its not great either - competent, slightly better than Dennys. Personally, Id say BJs is much better overall, but I digress. The problem with FBH is the service. I swear they recruit their staff from truck stops. Had our most recent waitress obnoxiously chewed a piece of gum, she wouldve had the cliché down perfectly. We waited nearly 20 minutes before anyone came to take our order, and that was after I flagged the host over. When I brought it to her attention, she made a couple of excuses. The manager did the same thing later on, so they obviously dont care. I dont like the location, the decor is way too kitschy, and the prices are a tad on the high side. Skip this place.

Ive been going to the Breakfast house on Sundays for years and the food and service had always good. .. but this Sunday after waiting well over the estimated time for our table, I noticed a lady put her name down and got seated immediately. When asked the young brunette receptionist why they got seated and weve been waiting so long she was SO RUDE! She said that the "restaurant in industry doesnt work like that. .. and since they were a table of 3, my table of 2 would have to wait ". I couldnt belive how unprofessional she was in front of all the costumers waiting for tables. I resisted my urge to leave right them and there. Id go back... but not if that receptionist is there.

It was the first time for my 84 year old father in law from Redwood City CA, we dropped his daughter, grand daughters and Great Grandchildren off for Color Me Rad 5K in the park and him and I went to have breakfast he was deeply impressed by the fountain we walked by and the live piano music(which he gave me a tip to take to the player) and the whole atmospherer of the place thank you. Your greeters even made him feel extra comfortable, because he remarked how nice everyone was at "that place"(hard for him to remember everything daily, being 84) but your place of business made him feel happy and welcome thank you. sdalton Fresno CA

Ate here last Sunday with my Husband and another couple! We absolutely loved it! Best breakfast house in Fresno thus far! And Im pretty picky since I am a head chef at a local restaurant here in the lovely Fresno area.... I had the Classic Eggs Benedict. it was great! ham was a bit overcooked as well as my friends omelet. but it wasnt anything to be upset about. I loved the Strawberry lemonade, it had frozed strawberries mixed in, with fresh pineapple and strawberry on the rim. perfection~! give it a try if u havent!! also the Piano player on the weekends adds such a nice touch! i definately will be coming back!

This was our first visit to the Fresno Breakfast House. After reading the reviews we had to try it. There is a very pleasant, comfortable atmosphere. The people are friendly and the food was good. I had the Classic Benedict and although Ive had better, it was worth trying. I will definitely return to try the Pastrami Omlette. My only complaint is there was no one to greet us when we arrived. We stood there for a few minutes and I finally sat my 85 year old grandmother down on a bench. There was an employee who passed us and a little "Well be right with you" would have been nice for a first time visitor.

My husband and I recently went to the Breakfast House on a Sunday morning. Along with very tasty selections that we enjoyed, the mood of this place added a charm in itself. Specifically, the wonderful Broadway tunes that were played by a skilled piano player really created an up-scale and relaxed feeling. Though the place was crowded, it didnt feel hurried or loud, so that a personal dining experience was the result. Also the customer service was very good with no delay to the food, or forgetting to warm your coffee for a second cup. All around a very nice morning for the two of us.

HORRIBLE ! The food was good, yet, one of the servants made my experience the most bitter morning of my life and worst memory of this place. In short, I felt judge by my appearance "hispanic." I was treated as if I was running away from paying a bill when I had already payed my bill and left a comprehensive tip. No professional manners were shown during this approached and he had the audacity to do it in front of the people outside the restaurant.
