Noooo Stars... ( I had to give a star so this will post) Please dont eat here!!!! I would like to make a complaint about my unhappy and disgusting visit to IHOP in San Luis Obispo California on Madonna Street. I was very Unhappy with my service and overall experience. My family and I which was a party of four 4 (3 adults and 1 infant) had to embarrassingly Walk Out of this restaurant after ordering our food and 45 minutes later, still not receiving it. We lost our appetite after noticing that the other customers sitting around us, even the ones who came in at the same time as us were all eating and enjoying their breakfast. And also was so disgusted to see that the party of seven (7), who was seated after us was already eating and enjoying their food. We also sat over an hour next to an UNCLEAN table with dirty dishes and uneaten food on it. I believe my family and I was RACIALLY PROFILED and I am very upset and disappointed with this establishment. My family and I WILL NOT eat at another IHOP again.

I dont know where to start, Ive never had a bad experience in a IHOP. Me and my family went on vacation and one morning we saw the IHOP and decided to have so breakfast here. There was a long wait. OK no problem its the weekend and everyone wants to eat. We all ordered breakfast. Everything was fine until they changed our server. My son is very talkitive and loves showing off his toys, Well the server told my son. "SORRY BUDDY I DONT SPEAK SPANISH." WTF first of all my son doesnt even speak Spanish and second just because am dark skin doesnt mean I talk Spanish or he speaks spanish. If your not good with kids just smile and compliment. Dont look at him and discriminate. What the hell is wrong with people now a days.

Server was good... however, I ordered over medium eggs they came out scrambled. Although it is the servers job for quality assurance they rely on the cooks and preps to make sure the order is correct, the cook should be able to read the order and plate the food that was ordered. I accepted the mistake and ate the food, but these Cooks have to understand that if it was anyone else the server would have been blamed and it could have affected his or her tip which is a big part of a servers income.

Waited 20 minutes after being seated for someone to take our drink order. When we asked for a refill on our drinks, the server took our used glass, with the straw still in it, and sat it on someone elses table to take their order; so unsanitary. 45+ minutes later when our food came, it was stone cold. I had to hunt down catchup myself, as well as napkins. We were done eating when we finally flagged down our server to bring our side of pancakes. Ridiculous!

IHOP is my familys favorite go to breakfast place. This IHOP was pretty good besides it being an hour out of our way cause they took the IHOP out of Pismo. The food was great, the service was ok, wait time was long & talk about an empty wallet after your done. There was some added hidden prices but everything was fixed & we would most likely come back again.

This place was easy to get to from the freeway. When I walked in I saw how clean the restaurant was and was immediately seated. The waitress was very friendly and came to my table frequently enough to make sure I had drink refills and anything else but not enough to annoy me. The food was served in a timely manner and was cooked to perfection in my opinion.

Good service, and good food! The wait isnt bad, and the food does come out hot and fresh. The servers are very polite, and deserve credit for always trying to help make your experience better. Overall, a good stop for a more moderately priced breakfast, outside of downtown San Luis Obispo.

We had a very nice waiter, pancakes were good, its a good place to go for pancakes in a hurry. Unfortunately we dont always have the same experience and sometimes get the waiter/waitress who would rather be anywhere else. Its a 50/50 shot.

The food was fine, our assigned server wasnt good. There was another young lady who stepped in and took care of us. Basic server standards were lacking; no check-backs, no server engagement, and sad enough hardly anyone was in there.

Waitress took about 10 minutes to get my wife a water refill and coffee for me. By the time we got it, we were ready to go but we had to wait another good while for a box and the check. But other than that the food was good.

They will pile on the prices if you order ala carte. Management could not care less. I avoid. They no longer have Blintzes. Better breakfasts can be had elsewhere.
