If my memory stands correct, the first time I went to the Ohlone Deli was a year ago, when I went to the annual theater competition up at the college right across the street. The food. Is. Delicious. The service is quite polite and friendly, though they dont quite hold a conversation or anything. It might take a while to get out to you, depending on how busy it is, but its so worth the wait. They serve an amazing variety of foods; sandwiches, milk shakes and other desserts, fries sprinkled with pepper and salt, and gyros so good youll die and go to food heaven. By all means, check this place out. It might not seem like much from the outside, and the inside isnt that impressive (though its got a quirkiness that is endearing), get some of their amazing food and sit outside on a sunny afternoon, and your life will be complete.

Halal Meat is Served here. They have a large variety. I Had the Hot Pastrami sandwich. Very good. I liked the french bread! The fries were also good too (crinkle cut). The service was very friendly. They have on display the Halal labelled whole turkey, chickens as well as the Al Safa boxes for the burgers and chicken patties. They do serve beer, wine and non-Zabihah meat, so that is why Im not giving the place 5 stars. Otherwise worth to check out this deli.

I ordered a salad around 11:45am and I was the first customer there. There was a lunch rush and they got to other customers orders while I still waited on mine. It is now 12:20 and I still havent received my salad. I complained and they said they were "just slammed." I will never come here again. Short staffed, an old guy and a cashier who is new.

I used to work around the area. This place is a pretty cool joint with plenty of selections. Their turkey burger.......oh my goodness, the best I have ever tasted anywhere, and as well as their fries. Look forward to revisit this place and reminisce the memories...

Great place to stop after hiking Mission Peak! I like the fish and chips or steak and cheese sandwich. The falafels are good for vegetarians :)
