So far, this is the best sandwich place that I have had in the South Bay, and the meat shop is spectacular which makes it an easy pick for 5 stars. If you come here, you absolutely have to get the Super Hero sandwich. I was a little concerned when I read the full list of toppings since I was worried it might mask the tri-tip or that they might not work well together, but I trusted my gut and got everything on it and was SO happy that I did. I recommend getting it on dutch crunch. There isnt a ton of seating since the primary function of this place is to be a butcher shop, but theres a random assortment of tables and chairs outside that definitely work. You could easily take your sandwich to go as well. The reason that the meat shop is amazing is that they have pretty much any type of meat that you could ever possibly want or imagine. From the typical stuff like beef, pork etc, they also had alligator, bison, elk.. it was just such a cool selection. We will definitely be back next time we are looking for a fun dinner idea.

The best butcher in the South Bay... also the best sandwich shop in the South Bay. On the butcher side, they offer butchering services for any animal you hunt yourself. The meat counter has high-end pork, beef and chicken. The cuts are limited though. They also offer a rotating selection of turkey, boar, and other meats. They are also a sub shop and offer and handful of subs. I have only ever had the Super Hero because its the sub Ive ever had anywhere. They use their one smoked tri-tip. It is amazing.

This is the real deal. Family run old timey butcher shop. Everything they sell is amazing. Best sandwiches, amazing meat and sausage selection (they specialize in smoked meats). And best of all they have amazing dog treats. If you eat meat, you MUST check this place out.

Ordered the Slow Burn, Pulled Pork, and Salami sandwiches. All were so tasty. The tri-tip was tender, the pulled pork was juicy and tender. The Salami was from Molinaris and they were pretty generous with the portion. Cant wait to go back there and try other sandwiches.

Hands down the best beef jerky and turkey jerky Ive ever had in my life. I still order the stuff even though I dont live here any longer. Ive had hundreds of others since leaving, and nothing is even remotely as good. I dont know how they do it... But its incredible.

Ive never had better sandwiches than Ive had at LG Meats. I love their slow burn, but you can never go wrong with their daily special. Expect a crowd and a 10 min wait if you go around lunch. If you know what you want, you should just call ahead to avoid the wait.

Los Gatos Meats not only has a great selection of custom cuts, but their sandwiches are top notch. My go to sandwich is the Super Hero with everything. Make sure you dont eat it too late in the day, because you wont be hungry for dinner.

Gone to this place for lunch 20+ times, every sandwich on their menu is amazing. Sandwiches are large and high quality. Its fun to stop by for lunch and get a sandwich, and get some meat to make for dinner later.

Great place...has been around a loooong time. Very small and gets very crowded on Saturdays, but the sandwiches are great. If youre vegan or vegetarian, avoid (as the name obviously states)

My wife got sick after eating a sandwich lunch. I did not think the food was vary good myself meat was bland and the bread was dry. Also the place was vary dirty.
