I wish we had read the hidden Curry Club Indian Bistro Restaurant reviews on yelp. I can not even begin to begin my utter disgust for this place. Whoever cooks at that place can not even make the basics: naan, and gave us black/burnt naans (even more burnt than the photos on yelp). If you want to end up with food poisoning and waste your whole weekend in the bathroom, then go ahead and go to this place. We would not be surprised that most of these 5 star reviews here were written by owners or their friends. Or whoever claims that the food here is great, is because they have their food quality standards so low or/and do not even know how to cook. One of the worse places we have ever seen, not only because the buffet around 12am, was not fresh but instead we got cold leftovers from who knows when! We read the review about the card issue and instead paid cash to avoid any of those issues, but instead of getting a decent buffet we end it up paying for a buffet to get us sick! This place is like a family owned business, and the mom, owners wife or whoever was the horrible waitress does not even smile, and looks like a bitter person who does not even want to be there! and who basically ignored us after we asked her about the buffet price. We asked for naans, and I told her please dont bring me burnt naans, and instead of getting us well done naans, she gave us burnt and greasy naans again! Not sure if she wanted us to leave, and made it on purpose, but we did not even repeat, and could not even eat the mess they made. We paid and left and that was that. Her lack of customer service was so bad that she even noticed that we did not even repeat nor finish the first plate, but instead of asking if there was something wrong she just asked if we were ready for the bill! I am disgusted by the way these people treat their customers, it looks they have that restaurant to make just $ and not even pigs should get that kind of food, as theyll get sick too. That pretty much sums up my entire review... Heres a timeline of last week after visiting the Curry Club Indian Bistro Restaurant. - Thursday noon: Relative and I went out for the $10 buffet at Welcome Seafood Restaurant - Thursday afternoon: Relative and I get nauseous with stomach pain. Thursday night my relative goes on vomiting spree, and I got diarrhea. - Friday morning: I wake up in pain and with more Diarrhea. Relatives admits to having woken up in the middle of the night to vomit and for more diarrhea. - Friday noon: We both start to get fever, strong headaches, stomach cramps, feeling nauseous, and more diarrhea. - Friday after noon: Nausea and vomiting continues. Diarrhea present the rest of the day. - Friday night: Same symptoms continue while writing the review. - Saturday: I couldnt keep medicine down to relieve the fever and pains without it immediately coming back up. - Sunday: Same symptoms present the rest of the day. - Monday: Complaint filed to the Department of Health to take swift action against this Curry Club Indian Bistro Restaurant. Even if the food was free or if someone was playing me to eat here, I would not take the risk. I wanted to take a picture of the food I got but the place were she sat us was dark and not sure if they do it on purpose so that you can not see clearly what you are eating (and to take a picture I would have needed flash), but Id much rather post up pictures of the vomit and diarrhea that my relative and I got from them instead!

Today we went for Lunch buffet. Its not too late yet. We were there around noon. It all started with NO PLATES. as I finally got the plate I find the appetizer and curries empty. They are not refilled soon. A couple of curries were empty even by the time I walk out. There is no one to see or ask to bring more bread, it happened me to run after the staff for more bread. Finally when I went to dessert it was empty too. I dont know if they will refill it or not. Its the worst experience of mine in an Indian Cuisine. With all empty dishes she still charged around $11. I have no intention to leave a tip to that worst experience I had. I doubt to suggest this place.

My wife and I had been to this restaurant and ordered for vegetable biriyani, we got a well decorated dish, But the taste was no where resembled Biriyani. I had Biriyani a number of times at a number of places ... but never had some thing like this. So I told him it doesnt taste like Biriyani and he said "ho ... OK" and left ... we got the bill and the Biriyani was on the bill ... no sorry ... no explanation... nothing ... we paid the bill and left the Biriyani on the table untouched, he came collected the bill ... and took the Biriyani back.

Stopped in with friends from work and had the lunch buffet. They had a selection of pretty standard Indian food out for the buffet. I have Indian food on a fairly regular basis and one of the people in my group is Indian and none of us were very happy with the food. We had to wait quite a while to get Na. Surprisingly they also had very few vegetarian options which is unusual at for an Indian restaurant. Perhaps we just came in on a bad day, but the truth is that we were a bit disappointed.

It was worst indian food in that area. I will never go there. We ordered appetizer spicy chicken wings. When we got it on the table it was burnt, soggy and water running out. They used frozen chicken and did not cook well. It was disgusting. The owner said she wont charge for it but she did charge. Also the server was so not friendly without any smile on face. I have 2 kids and they were not good to them at all. I will never go their and waste my time and money.

Most rip off food restaurant ever. You get 4 small masala chops for $16. More over a full karahi chicken is only 8oz and is unmarinated chicken with bell pepper only. Last time they charged me $2 more than the menu price for a item and when I raise the question they didnt change the price and started explaining that they dont have new printed menus. They used to make good food but now they are over proudy people.

Too bad experience. The owner or manager is very arrogant. We ordered a chicken Biryani and it is horrible Biryani. They are making people fool, I have eaten Biryani at many Indian restaurant but this one was the worst one. I have never been for the buffet but avoid going there for Dinner. Even the manager or whoever takes the order dont have the manner to talk with customer.

We have been going here for years. We have tried many of the Indian restaurants in the Sacramento area and find this one to be superior. We usually order the chicken tikka masala, saag or baigan bharta (eggplant), and of course their naan (which is to die for). Their lunch buffet is also fantastic...the food is always very fresh, presentation is nice, and the price is great.

The food is really good. I like to chicken curry with the bread. The lady who serves though seem to not like her job. She doesnt smile and when we asked for more bread, it took too long. She just placed it on the table, almost sort of tossing it, we felt it was our fault that we asked for more bread. If not for the fiid... I wouldnt want to go back here.
