The food was as expected but lacking several items from our last visit, like steak, butterfly shrimp, which was advertised for friday, but not served, smaller salad bar, no baked potatoes. Shortly after our arrival a bus pulled up and the whole busload of people just walked in, without paying, because of a discount to the tour company, and the restaurant was full of loud hungry people, competing for food and seats. The restroom was dirty and the place needed a good cleaning. Mexican food was not very good as was the pizza. popcorn shrimp was good but over battered. the tater tots were good and crunchy, the fish and meat was good but overcooked. Vegetables and fruits fresh, good. When I asked about the steak, shrimp etc, the answer was,sorry... but ... The girl taking care of our table was nice, unlike the other employees. Will not return anytime soon. Go to golden corral, better food, and cleanliness of the restaurant and restrooms, better salad bar and meat, side dish and dessert selections. No bus load of people either.

Se que poco les inportara mi comentario pero espara la corporacion el macarrón en chis que tienen ahora es un asco era la principal razón por la cual venianos aquí pues antes Tenían un delicioso macarrón en chis que mis hijos adoraban hemos venido aquí nos damos la sorpresa de que la corporación quitó la receta principal me gustaría pedirles que consideraran eso puesto que los clientes son los que les damos el dinero al restaurant

We went for lunch to Home Town Buffet with my husband on Saturday. As for me it was good, I like the variety of food and drinks they have. Italian pizza, pasta, different kinds of bread, salad bar, fruits, American style side dishes, meat, steamed and baked veggies, everything to make Mexican tacos, plenty of desserts, cheesecakes, pies, brownies and ice-cream. There are a lot of options for your drinks, self-served iced and hot tea, coffee, orange juice and sodas. Our server was nice, brought us drinks and kept a table clean, without used plates. Nice place to have a meal

A few years ago, Hometown Buffet in Modesto, CA was the worst buffet restaurant in the region. It was messy and the food was awful. Flash forward to 2012, the place is much cleaner and the food is actually good. The employees are nice and welcoming to customers. However, some of the food items (steak, chicken, lamb, fries, etc) are too salty. If you go to their website and sign-up for their e-club membership (FREE), youll get a Buy One, Get One FREE Dinner Buffet coupon with a purchase of drinks. Great deal! I use it all the time. :)

If you the type of person thst only put salt and pepper on your steak and think thats yummy this the place for you. Staff is friendly and service. They have a section designed for mexican food with a generic hard shell and nacho cheese. Overall price is cheap if u need to feed a large family its fine. Wouldnt come back personally.

We had dinner here yesterday, went in around 5pm it was My husband, me, my 8 year old daughter my 16 year old son, my 1 year old and my sister-in-law, the staff is nice and the food is so so, BUT what turned us off of NEVER going to this place again was that my daughter, son and another lady saw a cockroach, by the Orange chicken

The restaurant was gross with a very limited variety of foods, lazy employees who were cursing and eating on the job, broken beverage machines not dispensing ice, and repulsive bathrooms. $35.67 (price for two people) for over-salted food and limited variety was not worth it.

Terrible food , great service very friendly staff . Chery pie was gross , carrot cake was past the point of moist it was soggy . Peach cobbler was disgusting . Things were cold what was cold was only scraps left in the dishes ... Never will I be back to any hometown .

The food was horrible especially for the price I paid for my family and myself. My lil brother almost threw up after eating a piece of brownie. The food tastes like it was all frozen and was heated up and put out to eat. I will never eat here ever again.

Very slow. No clean dishes or silverware. I payed 2.49 for orange juice and there was no orange juice they said they ran out because of daylight savings time at 9:30 in the morning How are they going to run out of orange juice in an hour and a half

They have gone way downhill. 2 people about $30 (I can hit Applebees for less) Empty salid plates, no forks, almost no green salad, cherry tomatoes were under ripe. Dinner plates were dirty, green beens mushy & flavor was missing ( overcooked).

I had very good customer service but HORRIBLE! Experience with a dessert (Not sure the name) but as I was chewing I started to choke I thought it was the food I was choking on but then I pull a long piece of HAIR outta my mouth it was scary!

There was a long wait and the food wasnt so great. will not be coming here again. They need to make sure to have more plates and cups. the time we where there we had to use the same plate and cup. not happy at all.

Good food for the price! I recommend their dinner hours. Gone twice and both times employees have been very kind,and the kids love it on Thursdays there is a special where kids are about $2 with drink!

The food waa horrible..... The kid selections looked and tasted 3 days old. The deserts were hard, nothing close to fresh.... Chicken was black brown with no taste.... I will never come back ever

It is Sunday 11:27 and most all the food is empty and has been left empty for at least the past 20 minutes. Fresh market bar is absolutely empty and what is out is old. The carrot dish is mushy!

They werent busy and there was a lack of food on the buffet! They didnt keep it stocked. Also the shrimp was burnt the fried chicken was burnt. They didnt have water in the water canisters.
