GREAT FOOD!!! Big variety on the buffet, love the Naan, the chai is wonderful! Still coming here (over 6 yrs later)~ they never disappoint~ nice people too who try hard to please their customers! LOVE THIS PLACE! 2 years later and we are still going to this restaurant! They have expanded and are now the largest we have ever gone to. Naan is included with the buffet and is the best Naan we have ever had. The food is WONDERFUL and the owner and family are so nice and friendly! It is always clean everywhere. The eating utensils are always clean and never sticky as you sometimes find in some restaurants which always makes you wonder how well they were cleaned or if they were washed but not the case here. The floors are clean, the restrooms are clean, you can look back into the kitchen and it is clean. We are soooo fortunate to have this place so close and to not have to drive into San Fran to get it! We have gone to a very large Indian Buffet in San Francisco (I cant remember the name but it wasnt Swagat) but the food was not as tasty as this one in Stockton! They are so busy now. People of all nationalities go here and a lot of white collar business men as well (in my opinion, that shows one how good this place is).

This restaurant is the best in Stockton, CA. It is a family owned business. The people are nice. I have taken several non- Indians here. Try the buffet, if you are not familiar with Indian food. You get to try a variety of dishes from the buffet. The food is authentic Indian. They have North & South Indian dishes. Try the rasam soup. It is my favorite. I like the rice & noodle dishes also. Anything cooked with beans, lentils (pulses) interest me. Generally, speaking, I wish the prices of the items were a little lower.

One of the worst Restaurant, I ever experienced in my whole life. Food Quality is Horrible, Naan is smaller in size compare to other Indian Restaurant, sitting area is so unorganized and Dark. Very Poor customer Service, almost only one waiter in Entire Restaurant. For Price $12.99 - I gave to them only one star- Find better Indian Food at shan- E- Punjab - stockton, with good indian customer service and next door is indian grocery store too. Now I prefer to eat at shane- E Punjab.

The service was fast and friendly. The food was seasoned perfectly. The selection was a good mix of different dishes to choose from. We ordered one dish Thali, one dish a La Carte and one item by itself. We had enough food to feed 5 people! The lamb was delicious with the yogurt sauce and the curry was superb. Even the appetizer and dessert were cooked perfectly. Thank you Swagat for a delicious dinner. We will have to come back soon.

The space is small, but comfortable. The decor is casual elegance making the space feel a bit larger. The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable on every item on their menu. My business guest was SUPER impressed with the food, stating it was the most authentic Italian meal he has experienced in the US and he is a serious foodie that is well traveled. I look forward to my next meal at Angelini Osteria the next time Im in Los Angeles.

Bad Food quality, Taste is yucky. Not many choices, I gave only one star, wish i can able to give them zero star. All is Total waste of money and feeling with upset stomach. Food is not fresh. Dont even try your lunch or dinner here. you will find better shane e punjab or tandoori nites, better food and low cost meal. swagat stockton poor and bad food, will never go over there again:( :(

I lived within walking distance for over a year and am familar with most major Indian restraints in local area. This place has authentic, well flavored Indian food with excellent customer service! Dinner buffet is best with vegetable and meat curry options. Homemade Indian Chai and Garlic Naan. Delicious Gulab Gamun for dessert. Best samosas in town!

Very bad place to eat. I got a tiny piece of stone in my rice and when I show them the stone The owner was making argument that its a black pepper. When I tell him to break it he couldnt. He was still not ashamed and not sorry either. I would never go this place again and never suggest anyone to go. Negative negative negative. Very bad .

I live nearby and can walk here. I am always treated very well and the food is amazing. They always give me something new to try and last time I went I asked for paneer naan, which isnt on the menu, but they made it anyway for me. Great food, Great service!!! One of the hidden gems in Stockton

This place is by far one of the best places to have Indian lunch in Stockton. Food is very delicious like back home in India. Whenever I am in Stockton I make it a point to stop over. Vijay is very humble and courteous. One man army. More power to you buddy.

After making reservations for dinner We were told no tables available. If I was told at time of reservation they are booked, I wouldnt drive up there. Will never dine at this restaurant horrible experience and unprofessional staff.

Best Indian Food in the Valley. Bar None! Why go to McBurger or Burgerdude when for the same money (or less) you can eat plenty of delicious fresh healthy food? Give your taste buds something new and deliteful to enjoy.

Gobi Manchurian is a must try. Thali meal is worth the extra $2-$3 for everything included. First visit we had Chicken Pasanda & Lamb Vindaloo (both medium spice). So delicious! We will be back for more, guaranteed.

The food was so oily and nasty, we had to throw it away. It was waste of money. It was the worst food I ever had in my life. Whole family got sick from the food. I will never ever go there again.

The food was delicious. I had the chicken Masala. They ask if you want it mild, medium, or hot for the level of spiciness. I got the medium and it was just right. I definitely will be going back.
