I went here during the recent Comic Con, so the place was slammed and that wont be taken into consideration. The wait staff were all wonderful and nice. My wife and I each had a different bento lunch, hers being the salmon teriyaki and mine being the beef. The portions were okay, the large serving of rice being the most generous. The salad had ranch dressing on it, which I found to be really odd for a Japanese place. It also included a piece of melon which, again, struck me as odd. My beef was okay, somewhat lacking flavor besides the sauce they use. The California rolls were good but nothing extraordinary. Overall, it wasnt bad at all but nothing seemed to strike me as being better than ok. Typical boring Japanese place with really nice servers.

Every time I come here the quality of the food is excellent! The owner is very friendly and his family is very nice as well. This is a great family restaurant. It is a small space but it is nice and clean which is far more important in my opinion. If you let them know you have an allergy they will make sure to prepare food separately. They have a great party platter option that is reasonably priced as well. I like to come by myself so no one can see me pig out on my two favorite rolls ,haha! Keep up the great job!

On a road trip for business and walked up from my hotel. Very cozy bare bones simple Asian restaurant. Pictures of all the food are on the walls and there is a menu also... Food and sushi are made right in front and owner is exceedingly pleasant and quick with a smile. He loves feeding you Asian food... Food is delicious.... Sushi is fresh and well prepared.. I am here a few more days so I will be going back...

Fabulous service, very friendly and helpful. Ordered the Dragon Roll as well as the Lion King Roll. Both cooked to perfection! Certainly one of the best sushi places Ive been to, especially within a comfortable price range. They even gave us a free artsy pineapple-boat snack after our meal. A+ highly recommend!

I ordered California rolls they was the most nastiest California roll I ever taste I will never ever go there again that was my first time going .too many poppy seeds on the California roll and the crab meat tasted like it was so old I had a funny aftertaste in my mouth

Slow service compounded with moderate quality fish are the main reasons for 3 stars. Hot tea in the form of Kirkland Green Tea bags is another. Pork Katsu was good. Prices are on the high side for what you get. Did I mention how slow the service was?

Don’t waste your time eating here. I had horrible customer service at this restaurant. The proprietor was very rude. There are many other better sushi places in Fairfield where the sushi is fresh and delicious, and service prompt and pleasant.

This cheapster wouldnt even lend me a pen to sign a check after I had given him business twice. I practically had to steal the thing to get my business done, and threw it back in his face. Much better places in Fairfield you could go to.

Its a sweet little hole in the wall sushi restaurant with a very personable and able chef. The food was beautiful reasonably priced and very delicious. I heartily recommend it for locals looking for the best Japanese cuisine around.

Excellent service, cozy atmosphere, and delicious food! Very well priced, all you can eat, made as you order buffet. Sushi is served on a thick wooden plate giving it a more authentic touch.
