The first time I called to order here I waited for 10 minutes on my personal phone then had my fiance use his phone and still waited another ten minutes while were both on our phones (ON HOLD) playing the game of "who will get help first". We wait all that time just to be told that they did not have what I wanted. About 8 months later, on a Tuesday night, I decide that I want to try them out again, so I call and it takes about 10 minutes for someone to take our to-go order and Im told that it will take 10 to 15 minutes until its ready. I took 20 minutes to get there and when I do my fiance walks inside to yet another disappoint. We ended up having to wait 40 additional minutes for our to-go orders to finally be ready (my fiance thought it was a wise idea to pay before receiving our food, a "time- saver" *sigh*). I doubt they had even started on our food until we had gotten there. We were told that they were short-staffed ( they must have been that way since 8 months ago), backed-up with orders, and it was an unusual night due to some special feature at the movie theater. I dont really care what it is, I just care about what Im told and how long I have to wait for food when I am doing something thats considered to be "in and out". I asked the manager if I had been dining inside, would they have still made me wait for an entire hour for food? You know what that answer was...

Excellent food ans atmosphere! Im especially a fan of the bottomless root beer float! Sometimes a little inattentive... I came with an hour before my shift at work and it took almost 20 minutes before a waitress came. Bartender ended up serving me. This is not my usual experience here. Typically service is prompt and cheerful. ....that was a year ago (3 stars). This place has become one of my favorite places to eat. I am a regular and the wait staff typical understands the time restraints i face at lunch time. I am a Royalty Rewards member and have eaten free more than a few times. Check that out if youre going to be eating at any Red Robin on the regular

First let me say that I like Red Robin the experience, food and service. Being from Seattle, home of Red Robin, I might be a bit spoiled. That said, my experience whether in California, New York, New Jersey, or anywhere else has been consistent and good. Until I went to the RR in Fairfield CA. From the customer service, restaurant cleanliness and other all experience was poor. To the point that I left and attempted to call in my order to go, but was placed on hold never to be answered. My advise; avoid this particular RR, and instead choose one of the many other restaurants in the Fairfield area.

If you havent experienced waiting 25 min for a table in a 1/3 full restaurant after calling ahead to ensure they could seat you quickly, waiting 10.5 min for a server to arrive at your table and 35 min additional for your first round of drinks to show up while you watch employees glued to their cell phones in the kitchen area, then this is a place you can experience all 3 on a Thursday night! Its a shame, the food is pretty good. Similar experience the first time we ate here a week ago, figured that time was a fluke, apparently it wasnt.

Horrible Experience! They are understaffed. My server was a sweetie and was trying hard but when they have him serving numerous tables its hard to give customer service. TO top it off my daughter was served RAW chicken strip! I prayed she didnt get sick. It was horrific. All the manager could offer was "discount." I am not in for taking free meals but when the dam chicken was raw my whole meal should have been compd. Will not be going back! Sad business!

Food and service was good. I am giving this particular red Robin low marks because of the seating after the remodel. There are very few booths to sit in anymore and the new seats have you packed like sardines. it seems that they made the bar the focal point of the restaurant and have little regard for the diners that have made the company you what it is today. I will no longer go to this location and will be hesitant to go to any red Robin in the future.

I went here last night (Friday) and the wait times were atrocious. I understand a 30 minute wait to get seated, thats not my gripe. Once sat, it took over 10 minutes for a waiter to show up and take out drink order. Then it took another 20 minutes to get our drinks. Then it was another 20 minutes before the food showed up. It doesnt seem like they are capable of handling the volume on a busy night. Either that or we just got a terribly forgetful waiter.

Waited for almost 30 mins after being seated before I approached the manager to receive service. The manager was very friendly and helpful, he served us personally. Once served he provided great service and discounted our bill. The restaurant was understaffed and some customers got up and left before being served. I was disappointed in the food portions, Ive had larger burgers for alot less at fast food restaurants. I hope things improve.

If you want a cooked burger that wont give you E. coli dont eat here. Even if you order it well done with no pink it will come raw in the middle (yes raw, like still cold) and when you ask what can be done about it your server will tell you thats normal and how its supposed to be. In the future Im only going to the Vacaville red robins, they are very welcoming with great service and the cook your burger how you request it.

Fairfield really doeant have that many good places to eat. This used to be my go too burger joint, not any more. Last night I waited 45 mins for my food, and the burger was gross. I dont mean it wasnt good, it was disgusting. Their service and quality has gone down hill tremendously. The other 3 in my group felt the same way. We will not be returning and I do not recommend anyone waste their money here.

My family and i went to the Fairfield store after a period. I had hoped something changed. Nope. Waited more than 5 minutes to be seated and the place was not busy. Something is terribly wrong. Customer service is not that friendly, equipment malfunctions to include not having specific items I enjoyed made this recent visit very distasteful...again. Even my visit to McDonalds was better than this!

A few Saturdays ago, the restaurant was mostly empty, we were seated promptly but after more than 10 minutes no body had asked if we wanted drinks or to order. Several woman at a table next to us were also cussing so we left. Even though I like Red Robin and have had good experiences at other Red Robins I havent been to any since then and am not planning on going anytime soon.

When we went to leave I asked the manager to call security to escort us to our car. We were in a very dark part of the lot and we did not feel safe. He said it would take too long and personally walked us to our car. That was way over the top and he should be commended for his special service. I did not get his name, but would like to thank him again
