I love the food here so much. I ate here all the time when I lived here. I take away a star because they now are never open. I have visited three times since living here, for five days each, and have never gotten to eat here. I am upset, and sad. I guess I have to stop recommending this place. It is always closed when my friends go. I am up here now, and it has been closed the past 4 days.

Found this place driving through town on our way down the coast. Had enchiladas with mole and chimichanga. Easily some of the best Mexican food Ive had for a while. The rice and beans were excellent, the salsa was so good and they have a variety of different kinds. The waiter was super nice and the food came out quickly. Definitely would stop here again

Happy Snacks

A small cafe with a small staff. Everything on the menu is worth the wait. When you step inside you are technically taking a personal trip to the cooks lifetime of experience. I havent tasted food like this since Baja California. Affordable with generous portions for casual special occasion dining or just a satisfying meal. Please support this venue.

Ive eaten at most of the Mexican eateries in Humboldt and this is by far the best. Great homemade flavor, salsa bar, great atmosphere, local beers on tap, friendly staff. Had the mole and Chile verde and will definitely be back for more.

Very happy to have my own local hole in the wall :) Food is good, adult beverages are great - especially since they are creatively made :) I love the quirky hours (if you drive by and they are open ... good time to stop and eat!)

The food has always then right as well as the service and the flan absolutely to almost die for, make sure you try it even if thats all you eat. I would gladly be a tester for any flavor they come up with
