This is our experience in the 5 minutes before we left. It was 7:00 on a Tue, we wanted Italian food, it had a 3.9 rating. We walk in, only 2 people at the bar, a smokey oil smell hung over the open diner-style kitchen (humm...) We sat in a booth, we were given menues, mine was the dirtiest menu Id ever seen. (It had a plastic cover and could have been easily wiped off.)

Worst Italian food I have ever had! It was empty but they are open until 9:30 and we were there around 8:15. They fried already overcooked Angel Hair noodles and Penne Noodles which were too brown on the bottom and already overcooked. Way over priced! Chef used bare hands on food he put on grill. I relied on their reviews when going here, were they not truthful? Thought I would warn everyone before they spent 33.00 on food not worthy to be eaten. You would be better off going to McDonalds!!!

Its awesome that these guys cook with olive oil and are open on Mondays and late. Lots of other places around use canola oil for cooking which is very unhealthy. What I dont like about this place is their salad dressing...I think they could do something in house...and I dont like that they dont have organic (sulfate-free) wines and healthier desserts. Honestly there are only a few small things (due to lack of research or education) that are preventing this place from earning 5 stars! Thank you!

Oh my gosh!! If you want fantastic italian food at a great price this place is an absolute must! The owner/chef is a wonderful character and the resturaunt is nice, clean and has a charming lunch counter harkening to days of yore. The wonderous smells eminating from the kitchen will make your mouth drool and his sauces offer no comparison in flavor! Eat, be merry and enjoy! P.s. before 2pm are lunch prices.

I adore this place. It is teppanyaki but with Italian food. Quick. Delectable. Affordable. Huge portions. Great service. I have tried almost every pasta and they are all amazing but the cajun penne is what pasta dreams are made of. If I could only eat one thing the rest of my life, I would pick that. Fun fact: lunch time is half priced and they do accept cards.

Awesome food. We ordered 8 dishes last night. My favorites were jumbalya, cajun chicken, and pesto dish. Everyone in my family loved the dishes. And it was not expensive. Everything was cooked in front of us. We are coming back again

Ive come many times and the food is always great and the kitchen is open to the dining area so you can watch them make the food. The staff are very nice and the owner/chef likes to greet and socialize with all the customers.

Looks can be deceiving. This old style diner restaurant was surprisingly delicious. Clean place with friendly faces. It has a few options for vegans. Portions were big enough for my husband and I to share a plate.
