Its kinda odd I know, that even though the place looks very nice inside. The staff are super friendly. And the food is not bad. That I give it A 3.5 But. Its just that. The food is not bad dont get me wrong. But there isnt anything special about it either Pad Thai is one of my favorite foods, but this isnt way up there like Ive had . The shrimp wasnt up to par,a bit soft. Flavor is good. The other thing is the price. Ive noticed many items over 10 bucks and into the 15-20 dollar territory The curry was decent, but again, Ive had amazing curry and other plates that fell into the same price. Sometimes less. Im very surprised that it isnt better than it is, considering the menu is small which is very smart. I do love the fact they dont use msg, they buy from local farms and try to buy organic meat when available. All in all, Im indifferent. But I will go again to see if they have a hidden gem there. Id love to score it higher , but I have yet to be wowed.

Offering affordably priced dishes inspired by the street foods of Thailand, Vietnam, and Singapore, Star Ginger is owned by Mai Pham of Lemon Grass Restaurant. The contemporary, sun-splashed interior has lots of wood, warm soothing colors, and theres a roomy community table for single diners and people who like to socialize. The slow-roasted Kurobuta pork banh mi is spectacular, and the vegetarian Jungle Curry is made with lovely fresh vegetables, chickpeas, and big blocks of tofu. At $5 the spicy Thai chicken soup is a bargain.

The ambience here is incredible, the music for dinner is lively but muted to allow for comfortable conversation. The staff is friendly and service on point. Only one location but easy to find just off the freeway. Casual yet elegant with a variety of Asian cousins focusing mainly on Vietnamese and Thai. If you find yourself in the area it is certainly a great place to dine. Tender beef prepared to perfection, shrimp was perfect. $37.50 for five

Ill give this place 4 stars even though they tried to steal extra money from me. The food is awesome dont get me wrong, the pho is great but make sure you check your receipt and then your bank statement! I put a $5 tip and went to review my bank account later on in the month and the server "mistakenly" added a $30 tip! They gave me a full refund so Im still a happy customer and I still go there from time to time.

Ive tired many different pho places,... 14.00 total for Pho w/ extra beef ...7 dollars more? thats crazy. soup was very un-flavorful even when added my sauces, ect. taste like water down broth with cooked onions. and there was only 4 pieces of meat! very disappointed, didnt even finish it. gave it to my co worker....

Ive had noodles from here before that were pretty good, but thats probably the only thing they do well because I just ordered curry that was almost inedible. Had no vegetables whatsoever, just watery broth and soggy flavorless tofu. And it arrived completely cold. Will not be ordering from here again.

Great food. Wonderful staff. Good prices. Jasmine rice always cooked to perfection. Wonderful tastes. If you like tour Thai spicy, then make sure you say something like, "Not White girl spicy, Thai girl spicy." Itll make your head sweat, your eyes water, and your nose run. Just sayin. :-)

My pineapple chicken over rice was very good. However, the pork banh mi sandwich was riddled with fat, much to the chagrin of one of other dinner companions. Fortunately, chicken banh mi sandwich was good. Waitress struggled explaining menu.

A cheapened americanized version of thai food. Star ginger is to your favorite asian restuarant as dos coyotes is to your favorite mexican restaurant. Very one note flavors. Good for college towns or near a highschool. Good thai iced tea.

Decent food, decent prices. Nothing amazing but I seem to be the exception. Everyone else I work with seems to love the bhan mi sandwiches and curry. I just dont think the curry is all that good and the sandwiches are somewhat plain.

I love the beef pho here and my coworkers love the vegetarian options! Today part of the order was forgotten and they ran it to our clinic quickly, with a full refund! 10/10 service; will order again !

Came with kids, but dont really think they were super enthusiastic about that. Food was fantastic though. Decor was classy and it was clean. Would come back on a date with my wife or pick up lunch.
