Can you give less than 1 star? I would if I could. I will never eat at any of their restaurants again, completely based on their customer service. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. I took my complaint to the corporate offices because of a mistake THEY made. This after the store manager insisted they didnt make a mistake. Spoke to his manager, Tom, worst customer service I have ever seen. He was condescending and bullying. Treated me like an idiot. Then I insisted on speaking to his superior, Michael at the corporate office, he was nicer, but still, after three days of "investigation" wouldnt make it right. They went to so much time and trouble to "prove" that they are right and to save themselves from refunding me $70.00 they overcharged me. This was after leaving them a $25 tip at pickup. If they are correct and I received and paid for a full tray of meat when I ordered a 1/2 of a tray, dont go by the number of servings their catering menu suggests. I ordered a 1/2 tray of meat, it served 27 people with very little left overs. But, they told me that I received a full tray of meat which the menu said would serve 50-60 people. I should have had a ton of leftovers. Even after pointing that out, they still say I received the full tray of meat. I remember when a customer was treated nicely. But, they sure are loyal to their employees, because supposedly they dont make mistakes. Lesson learned by me! Super Mex may have good shredded beef tacos, but they have the WORST customer service!

m bias to the magic that is the SuperMex "Mini-Chimis" (hence the five stars, its the only thing I NEED or want when I decide to go there) call before you leave and itll be done when you get there ... only available at the Super-Mex "to go" (which I think other people reviewing might have confused this listing with the restaurant though they are in the same lot - the other listing says "SuperMex Restaurant" so I think I can safely assume its the to go spot) for a mere $6 bucks (what like eight with tax and a drink) you can indulge yourself in four mini chimichangas that include guac, a little salad, and gianormus chips that come with the best salsa known to anyone I know within a 300 meter radius from my cubicle or living quarters. Im from San Diego so I gave up on trying to find Mexican food that would impress me, I was forever on the hunt for a chimichangas - then I discovered these, why buy one when you can get four little ones (and you can inter-mix beef or chicken) oh god, why did I write this review before my lunch break /faint from hunger.

Just tried to get some lunch here and had to walk out due to being forgotten about. I came in and was told to sit anywhere. I picked a table and was given some chips & salsa and then proceeded to wait about 20 minutes. No one came by to check on me even though other people started to come in. No order for drinks, food, nothing! I guess the guy never told the staff I was there? It seemed like the customers there were happy but I just wish I could have been served too!

I frequent the Cypress Supermex frequently so I can sit on the patio. The food is fair and only fair for the price. I am well known here as a frequent customer, but service can be slow at times even when they are very slow. I will keep coming back but after 25 years, and eating at the first one in downtown Long Beach, they have gone waaaaay down.

This is a place Ive been going to since I was a kid. Its your typical Americanized Mexican food and I love it. I love that all of their burritos come with sauce and guac. I smother it with a ton of their amazing salsa. Yum! Dont come here expecting authenticity. Its best appreciated as a place of big burritos and great salsa!

Went on a busy night and manager was very eager to tell me how long it was gonna take and how many people he had, not even giving an option to eat outside and there was tables empty so I walked.... food is usually decent but I wont be back for a while to that location anyways...

Picked up some take out quesadillas, the chicken was tasy and had a good amount of cheese. My friend had the beef tacos and liked them. So for my one take-out experience, it was good.
