Olive Garden 1220 6874 Katella Ave Cypress, CA 90630-5108 Check #62882 19:30:30 08/08/2017 I am including the receipt information above. I am not one to leave reviews often and usually only do when the food has been incredible. Tonight I am reviewing the service not the meal. I went on a date with my boyfriend to the Olive Garden in Cypress. It was our first time eating at that location and it was a beautiful, intimate establishment. We ate, asked for the remaining food to go and headed home. Upon arrival we noticed via the app Find My Phone that I had left my phone at the restaurant. We called to inquire about the phone and a man answered from the front desk. He said he would check the office and placed us on hold for three minutes. While we were on hold a women picked up the phone and asked us how she could help us. We let her know we were on hold and that a gentleman was checking the office to see if our phone had been turned in. She put us back on hold and later came to said it had not. We thanked her and drove back to the restaurant. We had been monitoring the movement of the phone through the app and saw that the phone was traveling through the restaurant and had made it to the center of the restaurant. When we arrived we spoke to the women at the front desk and asked again if the phone had been turned in. She said no and we let her know our phone was still in the restaurant and if we could take a look at where we had been seated. She said yes and when we made it to our table we had moved further away from the phone. At that point we because increasingly concerned and upset because obviously the phone was in somebodys possession. We pinged the phone from the app multiple times and listened for the alert. A few minutes later a sweaty older man dressed as a waiter ranging from late thirties to mid forties came rushing out from a room behind the front desk and nervously asked "Are you looking for your phone?" Handing me the phone almost shoving it into my hands as it pinged the alert. I accepted the phone and we left right away. I am left with a bad impression of this location because clearly there is poor communication throughout the staff. I feel there was minimal effort expressed in finding my phone and the restaurant is not that big for it to have just walked off on its own. If a staff finds a guests personal item of value that has been lost/misplaced, then the rest of the staff should be made aware for when the guest comes back to claim it. I am now under the impression that the phone was probably not intended to get back into my hands due to the lack of concern to help me find my item and the way the man that returned my phone acted so nervously. The phone was in a back room and only when I returned to the restaurant and sent out alerts was it returned. I will not be returning to this location and if you decide to dine at this establishment I suggest taking precautions because one moment of forgetfulness could cause your item of value to end up in anothers sticky fingers.

The first time we ate at this location we were promptly greeted and seated without any wait whatsoever, and that was the end of the good... We sat there for more than half an hour before we were acknowledged, the table next to us was seated, ordered and eating their entrees before we had a drink order taken. No apologies from the server that ignored us for all that time or anything. So we order, then he comes out and tells us they are out of lasagna for the taste of Italy trio or whatever they call it. So go with it, we sub ravioli, when he brings back the food there is lasagna, now its what we ordered, but by that point I was kinda looking forward to the ravioli. The food came out cold, I guess while waiting for them to microwave a lasagna or something. And never once did he come around and refill our drinks. So I spoke with the manager and she was appalled and comped the meal AND gave us a $25 gift card to come back and give them another chance. Which we did. Second visit. Service wasnt much better, but worse we got sick on the meal. I dont think watching my girlfriend puke all the rest of the night is conducive to a return visit. I called and spoke to the manager who took her information and had someone from the insurance company call her to make sure she was ok and not going to sue. My 2 cents, AVOID THIS LOCATION. Worst Olive Garden I have ever been to.

Estuve feliz .

Food here is hit and miss. Dont ever ever come during lunch...unless you want cafeteria food. Which taste helluva lot better for the price. You would think for $20 a plate the food would be good. Portion is ridiculously small also for the price. I would expect these portions at a 5 diamond restaurants. Not a chain store. As I sit here typing this...Im waiting for extra carbonara sauce for my dryer than the Sahara desert noodles. I really hate to shell out the money Im going to pay for this mediocre at best food. Never again. I would rather buy at 99c stores frozen isle than eat this subpar food.

The service was a bit slow but very polite... the food was Bland.. Scampi is based around butter, and garlic, and all we could taste was oil.. not even oilive oil... just oil! No garlic in anything! the pasta was flavorless. Plenty of fresh basil in each dish, but that was it as far as spicing and herbs... a Glass of wine... well it was a very small glass and half full at that.... it was at most a sample of wine... Mixed drinks.. had No alcohol that wouold could taste or even smell! Over all $65 to feed bland food and poor drinks for 3 people... never again!

They took to Long to bring our food, we had dinner Sunday 26, June 2016. They made a huge mistake in our order, they gave my plate to someone else in our table, plus the friends who were in our group had to wait toooooo long after they made the mistake with our order. We didnt want to make a big deal about it, but really, after no apologies, our conclusion was, They dont care about their customers. Waitress were more interested in taking their break. We believe that if we would choose Taco bell across the street, they would provide more professional service.

overall food was good. silverware was filthy though. both our knives had some dried food stuck to them, which wasnt too hard to remove. we simply used the cloth hey were wrapped in but besides that we refused to use them. we asked for two extra sets and the third knife was filthy as well. only the fourth turned out ok but despite that, every single fork had very visible fingerprints all along the handle as well as the mouthpiece part as if 20 different people handled it before it got to us. anyway, tour de italy was great, but didnt enjoy it much...
