These people dont know their left hand from their right. It is so mismanaged and high school kids are running the show which is driving the business into the ground. They have given me every excuse in the book to why my order still wasnt done or why it wasnt made right. They even got my name written down as Steve when I told them my name was Timothy. I use my full name when I order out so there arent any problems when it comes to pronouncing it. Because no other name sounds like Timothy! So I will now begin about my latest experience tonight. My wife and I called the restaurant 3 separate times between 6:20-6:30 without anyone answering the phone. It kept ringing till the answering machine picked up. We checked online to verify their hours which said they were open. How do you let your phone ring that many times without picking up? We were starved so we made one final attempt at 7:05 and a woman answered. We asked to place an order for pick up and she said we couldnt because they had ran out of dough (this was the 3rd time they said that). So we asked about gluten-free dough and she said they still had the gluten-free dough. So we were stoked! Ordered our 2 pizzas and one was without red sauce (due to my wifes acid reflux). She proceeded to tell me it would be about 25 mins and they should be done between 7:30-7:35. I proceeded to tell her my name and she was having a hard time understanding so she asked me to spell it out. I spelt out Timothy then she responded to me with an attitude and reiterated the time of pick up. I arrived there at 7:35 and had my 14yr old son go in to pick it up since I already didnt want to deal with this womans attitude. My son walked out of there at 7:45 with no pizza in hand telling me they had forgotten to make them and they would be ready in 5 mins. I was furious yet starved so I told him we would wait the 5 mins. We got our pizzas at 7:52!! We ordered at 7:05,we were told 25-30 mins, didnt get our pizzas till 7:52 (thats nearly twenty minutes!) After coming home and opening the boxes they had gotten our order wrong! There was red sauce on the pizza and most of my bacon was undercooked. My wife called to speak with the owner and all he said was "sorry we sometimes make mistakes, let me make it up to you next time you come in". We declined and have decided to no longer eat there,nor will we ever refer, we will actually deter anyone if asked about this place due to the crappy management and poor business model of letting high school kids run your place. The one good thing I can say is their gluten-free crust is great and since Im gluten intolerant they have lost a whole lot of repeat business by myself and family. Their incompetence alone has made me go there less over the years but today was the final straw.

Horrible experience. As a local to Colfax its really disappointing. I waited for over 30 mins to get my pizza, to have to walk up and ask about my order. My pizza was sitting on top of the oven and my meatballs had not even started to cook. As I continued to wait, two customers let the front person know their order was wrong and the gal taking the orders told one guest she was wrong and didnt order her pizza that way and then said "oh well." When I got home the pizza was burnt, I know what a wood oven pizza should look like and 75% black on the bottom is not it and the Meatballs were cold. This is not the first time I have experienced this at this establishment. You have lost a local and I will be sharing my experience.

Everything is homemade right down to the bread for the croutons! This is a family-owned business and they pour their hearts into every aspect, including a home built pizza oven. I had to chuckle about the critique of the crust- its Italian!!!! 850 degree wood oven for a minute and a half- sourdough crust!!! Its gonna be slightly charred (AND awesome!) We always love the monthly specials, and the pistachio pizza as well as the apple/bacon are our standbys. Worth a visit!!! Wish they were open Sundays!!!

Great access from the freeway. 2hr parking right outside, and plenty of parking on sidestreets. They close a bit early - last dine in orders 7:40. Pretty sure you can call in order & cone pick up. They take credit cards. Often busy. Excellent menu choices, but would be happy to see more vegetarian choices, and itd be nice if they had a dark beer. A winner!

Horrible service. I ordered my pie. Was told it would be 15 minutes. I went back in after 15 minutes and they lost my order. They never said they were sorry. Never explained what happened. After another 15 minutes my pie was ready. Now that I am eating it. What a waste. The pie is garbage. This is the first and only time I will eat here. Total BUMMER

Pizza is delicious. The BEST in Colfax and great compare to other pizza places. The pizza is thin slices, lots of delicious tomato sauce and pretty-fresh ingredients. The staff and owner is extremely friendly, helpful and polite. Its a small places but it delivers great quality food. Very clean environment. A great choice!

The pizza here is superb, bar none. During busy times, you may have to wait, but the flavor is well worth it. Cool your heels and request a garlic/pizza crust appetizer while you wait for the main course. You will not be disappointed. Were down in Meadow Vista, about 20 minutes away, and weve been here numerous times.

The place is cozy, and the service is fast. Staff is friendly, and prices are reasonable. Pizzas are handmade, savory and popular, for eat in and take out. Be sure to try the delicious meatballs. I hear that loyal customers are asking them to add lasagna to the menu. Its worth a stop in Colfax!

Wonderful pizza. The ingredients are fresh, the meat is excellent and not full of gmos and other hormones. (My family amd I are very picky about our meat amd we have no hesitation with the meat products here.) The pizza is just great and better then any other place in town!

Great pizza and great service. The mais e pomodoro was very good. With corn, heirloom cherry tomatoes, garlic, basil and pepper flakes and mozzarella cheese. You have to try it. Also it is quick pizza. The gelatin is very good.

We had two types of pizzas here on our way back from Lake Tahoe. The cheese pizza was good, the make-your-own, cheese, olive, onion pizza was delicious. We even packed one back. The people were friendly.

Stopped here with family and was really impressed. Really fresh tasty pizzas cooked in their fired oven. Fast friendly service. Love this place a real gem in Colfax. Cant wait to stop in again.

I cant/havnt eaten Pizza in years. My body cant handle the pasta sauce or cheese. But this Pizza is the best, I love this. I get one with apple bacon and onions. THANKS I can eat Pizza again!

This place has always been absolutely delicious since I started going a year ago. Nice, friendly staff, fun atmosphere, and a damn good pie. Thats what keeps me coming back!
