The Food and the Service are always top notch. We eat here regularly. We have tried just about everything on the menu. Nothing disappoints. The burgers and ribs are awesome. The specials like the butternut squash ravioli are spectacular. There is something for everyone. Pizza, sandwiches, pasta, bbq, and so much more. The salad bar is always so fresh and well stocked, I cant help but get a salad bar added to my entree everytime. My kids love going there, they not only enjoy all their choices in food they really look forward to the game room. Lori and Ray the owners run a great crew of people, the service staff works very hard and do an excellent job. I personally want to say Thank you to everyone who works and has worked at the American River Pizza Grill over the past couple of years, it helped make our decision to move to this area much easier. We Love This Restaurant and This Town.

Ive lived down the road in Cool for about a week now so it was my first time getting out and really just getting a pizza to enjoy. I worked at Round Table in the bay area (a good one) for 5 years and LOVE pizza. This was the BEST PIZZA IVE HAD IN MY 29 YEARS OF LIFE. Perfectly done on top, perfectly crispy on the bottom just absolutely perfect. I had half of a small shoved in my face before I got home 3 miles down the road because I could not stop myself. If I can upload pictures, I will. This pizza was so good it was funny. I have to add that the staff was very nice, it was a great environment and thought I had said take out I almost changed it to dine in just because it was a nice atmosphere. This place rocks, even their salad bar is good!

Our daughter called and said,"Youve got to try this pizza!" Stopped by last Sunday and was so impressed. Used to great pizzas found in Chicago and for ten years failed to find anything comparable in California. Although we still have a few more items on the menu to try we thought the salad bar was fresh, sandwiches looked appealing, the photos on the walls displayed the excitement of the American River, service was good and everyone was friendly. Looking forward to our next visit which will be soon!

This place is fantastic! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone hankering for good family food. The pizza tasted amazing and the salad bar had a great selection, everything was so fresh and cooked perfectly. Its family owned and operated and has that exact friendly and fun atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door. The prices are also extremely fair, well affordable for any family to sit down and enjoy a nice meal together.

I came here for the first time 2 weeks ago and was not impressed, the pizza had cheap cheese on it and the service was horrible it was like a little ceasars but it cost more, the manager or owner I am assuming is the fat old guy sitting by himself and staring at us while we are eating is a little off setting, but I also tried the Chinese place across the street and the food there sucked as well so im guessing it is a Cool thing

Love the variety of food! Everything we have had is so good. The Cougar Rock Pizza, OH MY YUMMMIEEE. Even the Veggie burgers are good! Have not had anything yet that wasnt oh so tasty. Gave it four stars only for the salad bar, wish it had some different greens, like maybe some spinach, or something other than just iceberg lettuce. The salad bar does have a good variety of other stuff though.

Wonderful little small town eatery. Stopped there early for coffee with a friend and on impulse tried their breakfast sandwich. It was delicious. My friend ordered a breakfast burrito. It was visually appealing...and huge. My friend could only eat half. By the way, the coffee was excellent as well. Nice folks too. They deserve to be well-patronized.

Im not sure who the other "RONDA is....but I can tell you, You can never go wrong eating Ray and Lorries food.....Cool would not be the same without both The "Cool Deli" anfd"The American River Grill" Great Food, Great Tri-Tip, Great Burgers, Excellent Pizza!

I dig this place. Pizza is always their best seller for me. I have been going there for around 14 years and i have always been more than happy with the pizza. There are lots of other options, but pizza and a beer or soda. This place is amazing.
