My girlfriend and I walked in and noticed that it smelled good and food looked good. I had to walk over to the middle of the restaurant to talk to a cashier after standing in the entry waiting for an host or waiter or some kind of greeting. The cashier said we could grab a menu and sit anywhere. We sat down and waited... and waited... and waited. 30 minutes goes by and a man in a sweat stained white baseball hat comes out with a pen and pad and walks up to an older couple that had literally just walked in the door 30 minutes AFTER we sat down, and he passes right by us and takes their drink order. Then he comes back out again makes eye contact with me but goes back to the same couples table and takes their food order and then disappeared back in the kitchen. It seemed like all the employees were hiding in the back. Terrible service. My girlfriend and I will probably never go back there unless its a new restaurant. I spoke with a female cashier to politely let her know that we had been waiting and about the new people walking in being served right away. She didnt apologize or offer anything. She just had a blank look even after I said were about to walk out. Another table walked out at about the same time we did. Apparently they were there a year prior but had bad service and were giving it a second chance.

Main Street Pizza in Colfax is by far my favorite pizza joint for many reasons. The pizzas themselves come in a wide variety of flavors from simple pepperoni, to Greek, to Spicy Thai, and many more. Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious! They have the hands down best combination pizza Ive ever had. No where else do they pile on the vegetables like they do here. The crust is delicious, and the overall ingredients are great too. The service is also top notch in my book. Some friends and I went in with a pie and simply asked for a knife to cut the pie with, they instead brought out all new plates, silverware, and even offered to heat the pie up in the oven for us! It is very surprising to find such a high quality pizza place in such a small town, but I am very happy it is there. Every time I drive to Colfax Main Street Pizza is a MUST.

Great service, Great pizza, Tons of Beer and Big salads!!! This is by far our favorite pizza joint in the area! The pizza is light and crispy with lots of toppings but there salads are out of this world, not only fresh but huge. We did wait a little longer then normal the last time we went in for our food but it was well worth the wait and we didnt mind because our waitress Katie (who we learned later was also our cook) let us sample a bunch of beers they have on tap and was very knowledgeable about there local beers, she was great! They also have a good selection of wine but we havent had a chance to try any of them yet. We will be back of course to do so!!! If you havent already you have to try out this pizza joint in downtown Colfax but be advised the salads are huge they are more for sharing or plan on taking home leftovers!

We had lunch at Main Street Pizza yesterday before an appointment. We were the first customers there, and they were friendly and quick so we could get to our appointment on time. But it was the food that impressed me. Several of us ordered personal pizzas, and they were good. I ordered the Bleu Salad and it was the best, biggest lunch salad Ive had in a long time. Enough food for two meals. Piled high with a variety of lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, avocados, mushrooms, onions, olives, shredded chicken and of course, a generous like of bleu cheese. Top notch! My new favorite salad spot.

great selection of beer on tap! Great selection of wines. Their pizza is all made from scratch. I love their dough. Love their wings too. Good menu selection. This is not a fast food place. If you are in a rush, then call ahead with your order. Mostly locals here and some highway travellers. Between Colfax and Truckee there is not much choice for good food and bar... so a fair bit of travelling folks stop by here on their way up or coming down from the mountain.

From out of town and made a quick stop in Colfax. With the various McRestaurants to choose from, we took a chance and tried the local pizza place. What a great call. The staff is very helpful, the place is big and they had the game on TV when we were there. The beer selection is excellent, and the pizza! Cant say enough about the pizza! Lots of great toppings, cooked perfectly! No doubt, well be back!

Wow! We stopped here several weeks ago and had a half-n-half veggie & Hawaiian - both sides were piled with a mound of fresh toppings making a terrific alternate from the great looking pepperoni we saw at other tables - our usual. Atmosphere is casual - pizza is Terrific! Plan to drive up from Auburn often since its the best weve found near us! PS - yes - Great Salad, too!

Little disappointed, the first time i went my order wasnt correct. It was stil good pizza. Looked online at the menu, was going to order a special. When I called the worker replied they do not have the special I was looking for. Either the wrong menu is posted with their google info or they need to update to what they do have.

Colfax is my typical stopping-off point en route from the Bay Area to Tahoe. And Main St. Pizza is the perfect spot. Good beer and wine selection, excellent pizza, laid-back atmosphere, and a small game room for the kids to get out some energy before that last push up to the summit. Highly recommended.

Made an impromptu stop to Colfax on a road trip. Found our way to the casual Main Street Pizza. It hit the spot. Big filling pizzas priced right. The kind Id want to make in my own kitchen. Pitcher of Sierra Nevada made it just right. Ill be back.

An awesome locally owned pizza place. We called our order in ahead of time on our way back from Sugar Bowl and were rewarded with hot pizza when we got there. They have a nice selection of beers on tap and were very friendly. Definitely worth a stop!

Great place, good people. Food is pretty good considering location. Beer and wine, excellent selection. One stars still sucking their S.F. pacifier should stay home. They Dont cater to individual likes but they do cater to the crowd.

Terrible! Took over an hour to get our food. One waitress and one cook on a weekend. We were told the "white sauce" was Alfredo but it tasted like sour mayonnaise. The salad was full of brown pieces. Will never go back.

All I ordered was chicken sandwich and some fries and a couple hours later I felt extremely sick to where I could barely move and its the only thing I have had since this morning. Not getting food from here anymore.

Service was super chill and friendly, restaurant was very clean and had a small town feel that will definitely bring us back! I strongly recommend BBQ wings while you watch the game.
