At first, service is amazing here, it was Thursday and I needed a Circus Animal Cookie birthday cake for my wife who was turning 8, err 48 that Sunday. Their website says they need 2 weeks advance notice, but going in and taking to them they were able to make one for her. So I ordered and paid for it. Come Sunday, when our son went in to pick it up for me on his way over to the party, they had no record of the order or payment. I had to text him a picture of the receipt, and told him to tell them theres probably only 1 cake that says, "Happy Birthday Dana" on it. Fortunately, they did actually make the cake. Now the cake, which they say will feed 8-12 is an underestimate, ⅔ of the cake fed 18-20. Because I cut the slices super thin, knowing that it would be too sweet for anyone over the age of 8. Most people took a bite or 2 of the colorful sugar confection, and we ended up throwing the rest away. Our youngest son and his girlfriend had brought her a Unicorn shake once and I thought I would get diabetes from the sip I took. I dont know how something can be sweeter that pure sugar, but it is. When I went in to order, my friend and I marvelled at the trash can, topped with nearly full glasses of melting pastel shakes and plates of hardly eaten cake. I think I figured out one of the secret ingredients, between the cake layers sugar crystals. They have a great marketing program, appearing in national magazines like Cosmopolitan which draws people from all around to try their unique offerings. And to continue with unique marketing, they are opening an Alice in Wonderland themed shop.

My friends and I went there after searching online for a place for just desserts. They serve coffee/tea drinks, cakes/brownies, and ice cream. We tried some of the stuff. First, their coffee beans are locally grown, and is pretty good(I tried the Iced coffee, one of my friends had an espresso based drink and was pretty pleased with it). The cakes they had on that day I was there were cookies and creme, lavender, and chocolate yellow cake. We actually ended up trying one of each because they looked pretty good. The cakes are not great but still pretty good. They are on the very sweet side., but the slices are pretty big so you can definitely take the rest home. The chocolate yellow cake was the BEST. Keep in mind, the choices change every day, so if you are looking for a particular one, call ahead. We didnt try the ice-cream, but a lot of people were getting it when we were there. They have quite few options available, and its made on sight, so definitely worth trying out. Side note: They are closed on Sunday and Mondays.

Went there just to have thier Internet famous Unicorn Hot Chocolate. When I ordered the drink the barista rolled his eyes in a "of course thats what you want" way. I understand that it was probably the thousandth one he made that day, but generally you should turn around and make faces about a customers drink choice, not inslut them to thier face. My boyfriend ordered a cookie butter latte and we sat down, the drinks came out very fast, which I thought was great, until I tasted it. The drink was lukewarm at best. My boyfriends coffee was just warm as well, so when he drank it he could see sludge like substance of cookie butter at the bottom of the cup that never melted. We did get a slice of cake that was very good it was about $7.50 for the slice. The unicorn hot chocolate looks super cute in photos, but tastes like red food dye. Its not worth the hype.

This business closes at 10PM on fridays. I showed up with my family at 9:30 and my 4 year old was very excited to get her unicorn cake slice. As we walked up an employee stopped us and said they were closed. I said, "I thought you close at 10?" He said they have been turning people away since 8:45. This is not how you run a business! Any business from restaurants to the post office to Disneyland dont turn customers away if they are still open. You shut the doors when you close, not a minute earlier, and you stay until every last customer is served. The owner of this business needs to take a lesson on how to run a business. They may have good sweets (I wouldnt know because we were turned down) but their business practices are going to put them out of business the second the fad fades.

Good for pictures of their specialty drinks and a sugar rush after waiting in line for an hour or so. The unicorn sugar cookies are really good for an instant treat while waiting for your order (another half an hour). I was sold an chocolate ice cream sandwich and they told me when I was picking up our groups drink order that they had run out - got their strawberry chocolate instead. Wish it was easier for them to communicate with their customers - they apologized, but where obviously under tons of pressure from the over packed place. (Honestly probably a fire hazard and why I rated low.) If you really want to go make sure youre there at least an hour before closing time because they have to cut the line in order to close on time.

Diabetes heaven! Was very crowded and hard to find a seat on a Sunday afternoon. Not worth the hype in my opinion... photoworthy unicorn drinks and cake, but this place is just a one time stop for me. $6 unicorn hot chocolate and $8 unicorn cake. The hot chocolate was pink and covered in whipped cream, rainbow marshmallows, and sprinkles. The drink itself was pretty good (I didnt eat the cream and toppings), but not worth the price. My cousins and I took two bites out of the cake and couldnt eat it anymore because it was wayyy too sweet. The cakes texture was very soft and moist, which I liked, and it alone without the frosting was easier to eat, but the three of us still werent able to even eat half of it in one sitting.

The service was a little slow, but they are handmaking pretty shakes with lots of toppimgs, so that would be expected. We besides the unicorn shakes we also bought a unicorn cake and a coconut cake. While the unicorn cake was beautiful it was a little flavorless and super super sweet. I wouldnt mind the sweet so much if there were more of a vanilla flavor to the cake. The coconit cake was also sweet but so so good and full of flavor. The employees we friendly and went over the menu with us. Also, on our way to the bathroom we saw into the kitchen, it is pristine. Very clean and organized. We will definitely go back for a treat soon.

Can i give this place more than 5 stars? The only complaint I have is that its not closer to where I live. I love the decor, and the music is easy to listen to without being distracting. Their cakes are to die for!! Ive had the strawberry champagne, the earl grey, and the lavender. They make all of the cakes there. They even have ice cream! But i stick to the cake. Their coffees are amazing-great lattes and cold brews. My friend prefers teas and he has never been disappointed with what he got. The staff is super friendly-its family owned and theyre all very sweet. They also have board games which adds to my love of the place.
