Buffalo Circle members received an email for free snack-size wings ===================================================== Made a quick pit stop to my local Buffalo Wild Wings to redeem my email offer. One of the things that put me off about BWW the few times Ive been here were the masses of sports fans dining here. Loud, sometimes obnoxious, sometimes knuckleheaded. But, come to find out, lunch hours arent bad. There was only 1 other party here when I arrived on Sunday. Quick confession - Ive never had the wings at Buffalo Wild Wings. I love wings as much as the next guy, so I was giddy with anticipation to see what BWWs wings are all about. The friendly manager, Bryan, let me sample a few of their wing sauces to see what I would like, the mango habanero & Asian zinger to be exact. The mango habanero had the taste of mango with a finishing note of high heat form the habanero. The Asian Zinger was sweet chili sauce that Im accustomed to using for dipping chicken & eggrolls. Asian zinger was my pick for my wings. I came to find out the snack-size wings came with 5 wings and choice of fries or carrots & celery. Snack? Thats my lunch right there! I chose to go healthy by ordering the carrots & celery, but with Caesar as dipping sauce. Hey, I was sorta healthy ;p While waiting for my order, I chatted it up with Bryan, who even let me sample their new Gamechanger beer. Now, Im not a drinker, but a little less than a shot glass full of beer is okay. I mean, the kombucha I drink probably has a higher alcohol content. I do not know what connoisseurs look for in a beer, but I will say that this beer was quite nice. Not very bitter, with no funky aftertaste. Did you know BWWs shows UFC & boxing PPVs with no cover? Thats totally rad! Just make sure to get your derriere here early to secure your spot. He also enlightened me about their Blazing Wing Challenge - 12 wings in Blazing sauce in under 6 mins sans water/milk etc. I may have to accept this challenge sometime :) My wings were packaged, bagged and ready for me to take home- Very good! First off, the wings are large! Double the size of Wingstop wings. The skin was nice & crunchy and the meat was tender & juicy. The Asian zinger sauce had the perfect blend of sweet & sour, w/o too much heat. The carrots & celery, dipped in Caesar, were crisp & refreshing. To reiterate, it was more of a meal than snack, even for this healthy eater. Bottom line - Im a fan of the wings at Buffalo Wild Wings. I much prefer them over Wingstop. Service was good & the restaurant was clean. Knowing UFC & boxing PPVs are shown w/o cover, Im probably going to beeline here for the next big fight that interests me, a sauced wing in each of my grubby paws. Highly recommend! I was eating at this Wild Wings about once a month and usually come in between 10 and 11pm which is 2-3 hours before closing. Even at those hours, they are extremely aggressive at getting you to sit in the bar which is very loud. I once had a hostess ask me four times if I would rather sit in the bar than the dining room. I had to say no three times, but relented and sat in the bar after watching the server throw a fit. This is not unusual; they try pressuring you to sit in the bar and will ask you to do so multiple times. Today, I came in at 11 when they close at 1am. They turned up the lights at an hour and a half before closing and fifteen minutes later, the kitchen made a “last call”… an hour and fifteen minutes before closing time. The last call speech revealed that they were reading the script an hour early and made it look like they accidentally read it too early, but I have no doubt that it was intentional. Before leaving, I confirmed with an employee that closing time was indeed 1am. I never feel welcome walking into here even when I come in hours before closing. I dread having to talk to the hosts and feel like a bad person because I don’t want to sit in the bar. Then I feel rushed and uncomfortable knowing that my server did not want me to come in even when I leave 1-2 hours before closing time. Don’t let the hours “on the door” fool you, the workers have decided to speed up the process by an hour. I will be taking my business to the wing place right down the street; they actually like me coming in.

Worst service Ive experienced in a very long time. The staff here seems clueless and very unorganized. It took around 12-15 min to get our orders taken. Over the next 45 min of sitting with growling stomachs, we had several waiters come by and ask if we needed to have our orders taken. Funny because our actual waitress didnt come by a single time. Saw multiple orders come out for tables that were seated well after we ordered, yet there were no updates on what was taking our food so long (we got 3 individual orders of wings, nothing complicated). It was not a busy night and there were plenty of waiters staffed. Any one of them could have taken 10 seconds to swing by and check in about the status of our food, especially our waitress, who had time to stand around and chat with other staff. The food itself was decent. The wings are above average and come with a side of carrots and celery sticks. Asian zing wings are super solid. Stay away from the dry rubs though... The wings are essentially lightly dusted so you end up with plain fried ones. After being there for over an hour and a half on a late work night, we just wanted to get home and get some rest. To really end the dinner on a sour note, it took another 10-15 min of waiting for our check before I walked up to random staff at the front and asked for it. Naturally, it took another 10-15 min before we were finally able to get out the door. Looking for wings? Go to Wingstop. Trying to watch a game? Go to BJs. Let this place be a last option.

I am SO sorry for this review. I read all the other reviews before meeting up with friends and figured maybe the bad reviews were exaggerated, but surprisingly they are not. We showed up and got a table after the Laker game when the place emptied out pretty much. Now we sit to eat. We get our menus immediately but we dont see our server for 15 minutes. He comes by and takes our drink orders. We dont see him again for another 15 minutes. We get our drinks and are ready to order and he says he will be right back and he comes back in another 15 minutes! We order, get our food about 20 minutes later. We ask for refills and we get our beer and sodas about 10 minutes later and they miss one so we dont see him again for 15 minutes. He comes back and says hes going on break and if we want to cash out now... we say NO because were not done yet... BIG MISTAKE! We finish our food and in need of refills and we dont see him nor his co-worker whos covering for him for 30 minutes!! He comes back and asks if we were taken care of while he was gone, we tell him NO and he drops an "F-Bomb" cursing his co-workers. He then drops another "F-Bomb" and we all just look at each other at the table. Just because were young doesnt mean you can talk like were at your home having beers. The customer service was horrible and WILL NEVER RETURN. Other BWW are slow with their service but this location takes the cake.
