Great bar,location and opens early..CC and I had never been to Newport Beach before.The bartender Melanie is the best.Her service was outstanding with a great personality Told us about all the local hang outs and places to eat..She also recommended Seaside Bakery (6-doors down from bar) for the Croissant ham and cheese sandwich..She was right on and the donuts were delicious as well.We will be back....Thanks Melanie

This place is very low quality, the bar tender is super snippy and the guy in charge of the juke box doesnt know how to work the juke box machine. The music choice sucks, probably so you pay to play your own music. This place serves alcohol only, and has no bar food or finger food. They have a few pool table, which was pay to play. The crowd is made up of those corporate type.

A typical Californian dive bar from the outside, and when you walk up the redish/darkish stairs, you are met with a brown leather type rounded bar, which is packed 4 people, all from different backgrounds & jobs. You will find local surfers, young suited businessmen, tourists, young & old women & men. This bar is awesome. With great bartenders..

HORRIBLE service. My friend and I were refused service because the bartender (who says he gets Military IDs all the time) didnt recognize her military ID, even after the manager told him we were fine to be served, without even black lighting. Incredibly rude and condescending.

One of our stops this past Friday was the Beach Ball. There was virtually no line to get in. The booze was priced right and they have billiard tables. Beach Ball is just a damn good place to chill with some friends and even make some new ones.
