Ive been coming here for years. When I moved away last year I made a point to come back regularly because I love it so much. The menu is a broad selection of salads, sandwiches, pizza and pasta. Also, they have a great variety of appetizers. The pizza made me fall in love 0 thin crispy crust, good sauce and generous toppings. Ive had every salad on the menu and love them all ... too hard to pick a favorite. Decor is casual and eclectic consistent with the vibe of place, staff and clientele. If thats your thing too then youll fit right in.

Been living here forever and had no idea Besta-Wan was back here. I always figured it was someones crazy eclectic house. Sure enough it feels like youre having dinner at someones kooky and artsy fartsy house. There are many food options to choose from and something for everyone. The few times Ive been here Ive ordered something new. Have not tried their pizza yet and will be back to order that next! After all the name says Pizza. Service can be hit or miss. Sometime we get great and some not so much.

Long story short, 90 minutes after ordering a bbq chicken pizza, I was told by the owners sister that I should be smiling that Im getting a free pizza, that I should thank God because Im alive to eat my free pizza, because 5 people died in Iraq today. She was the most rude person Ive ever met. Anyone that can associate death with her lack of management and people skills has some serious problems. I will never go back, nor will I ever recommend this place to anyone.

Very dog friendly, but that means there could be several dogs around your table. I love dogs (and I brought mine) but the patio is pretty cramped and I could barely move my chair without bumping into a dog or another chair. The breakfast food is mediocre and the presentation was so bad that it made it taste worse than it really was. Not worth the wait.

The best, freshest salad. Strange, but Ive got to put their house salad at the top of my list. Never rated a salad before, but how fresh the ingredients were. I think the croutons is what did it too. mmm mmm good. Salad I give a 5. Pizza I give a 4. Cool setting. Game on the tube and beers a-flowin Great place to chill and hang out.

This is a little Cardiff gem. It is close to my office, so I go here often. If you like a great atmosphere, good food and awesome service....you owe it to yourself to at least give this place a try! Staff is great! Wide selection of food is great! However, each time we go there, there are out of control screaming children and the restaurant never says anything to the families. I dont go out to eat to be assaulted by other peoples children. This is the only restaurant we have ever been to that is this it out control.

but Becky has transformed this pizza joint into THE cardiff food destination. Great thin crust pizza with a traditional or modern twist. If you dont want pizza, great sandwiches and salads. Good family spot to drag the kids. Outdoor seating and beer / wine selection. Perky staff that is bubbling with enthusiasm.

For a slightly hidden restaurant, this is definitely a local favorite. The employees have always been nice, the pizza is great, and it has a nice family feel to it. If your looking for a good place to have a good pizza with the family, the prictetag is not bad and the experience is great.

I had the philly Cheese stake and it was pretty good. The restaurnt had decent beer and wine on there list. It was really nice to eat outside on the patio and even got to play a game of corn hole in the parking lot. The two other people in my group thought the food was very mediocre .

Im not a regular, but Besta Wan is part of my growing up. High school dates, pizza after a ride, getting my husband hooked on the onion rings. Its got the best history, the best atmosphere, and the best people. If you dont go youll be missing out on old Cardiff.

Keep to the pizza and pasta. They have WAY too much on the menu and anything that isnt pizza or pasta, is bad. But the pizza and pasta is pretty good. They also have a bit of an attitude which is annoying and makes me rethink my decision to eat there every time.

Not a better pie in San Diego County. If Kenny is cooking you will definitely get plenty of toppings and you may want to ask for well done. Best Stella on tap in North County, killer wings, amazing salads. Very local Cardiff vibe... lets keep it that way!

Enduring landmark, a reminder of how this area used to be before it got upscaled and trendy. Laid back, good menu with great pizza and Mexican food. Sit on the terrace, have a beer and a pizza and enjoy the good vibes from that Bob Marley poster on the wall!

Awesome pizza. Packed with toppings, not droopy, etc. If ordering for delivery and paying with cc, be prepared for a few call backs, 16 numbers are difficult to get right after a few pizza-making enhancing bong hits. Always quality pizza and on time though!

This is my favorite breakfast place in San Diego. It can get a little crowded, but everyone is nice and it feels like home. Dogs are welcome and I recommend getting a Manmosa to start the day off right!

I love this park; it has tennis, basketball, playground, tons of open space and some fabulous climbing trees. That and it is near the beach. Great place to grab a lunch and go to.

We have to come here every year when we arrive. Order the Krautza, you will not be disappointed. Service is quick and friendly though it can be quite crowded during busy times.
