Ahhhh! I keep trying this place hoping my experience will be better than the last. Im disappointed to say that it never is. This pizzeria was somehow related to Bronx Pizza in hillcrest. I love Bronx pizza. But this place is run differently. They try to sell pizza by the slice like Bronx. Since this place runs on lower volume the pizza sits in the window longer. Now I dont mind purchasing the last slice of a pizza pie from Bronx because their pizzas keep moving and are refreshed frequently with new pizza pies from the oven. But this place can have pizza sitting around for a while. Ahhhhh, right? Now I havent even started to lay into the attitude the employees have, nor will I. Their behavior speaks for itself.

My experience has always been Excellent!!! Their restaurant is great. Very clean. Everyone there is very friendly and the food is excellent! I have never had a complaint about their food and I purchase from them all the time for company and client meetings!!! When a business is popular it will be very busy especially during lunch and dinner time. Customers need to keep this in mind and Be Patient. I owned a restaurant and as much as we want to please every customer it is very difficult during times of mayhem. No matter how busy they are they always meet and supercede my requests! and do it with a smile :-) I am very happy with them and will continue to go to Only them!

Whatttttttt?!? This place is the best pizza place in San Diego (if youre looking for New York style - aka the best kind of pizza). Ive been on the lookout for amazing pizza since I moved to San Diego 4 years ago and eventually grew complacent to the fact that good pizza doesnt exist in this city. I accidentally ordered from Bongiornos (mistaking it with a place nearby) but to my surprise, I stumbled upon SDs best hidden pizza secret. #thankyoubasedgod

FAVORITE pizza place since moving to SD. Crispy thinner crusts with great variety for slices. Also have amazing Caesar salads with the best dressing! I love the meat lovers and buffalo chicken slice while my bf is a huge fan of what I think is called murder scene with generous dollops of ricotta. Super friendly staff too!

Reheated pizza, not a good sign. The taste was pretty good on the specialty pizzas but they were all lacking in the sauce department. All of the pizzas had been sitting out under the lamps for awhile and once you choose what you want it gets thrown back into the oven. Skip here and try Bellarsarios in Del Mar.

Ive been going here all my life, and it NEVER gets old. This pizza surprised me every time with how tasty it is. Incredible pizza at an incredible price. Ive tried almost all the pizzas they have or have had in the past. Great quality thin crust New York pizzas!

When I get a craving for NY style pizza, I come here. The cheese is molten and the slices are thin and large! I often get the stromboli. The workers always seem happy and open. Also a good sign is the steady stream of customers so everything is really fresh.

The Classic Italian sandwich at Bongiornos made us feel like wed never had a good Italian sandwich before, it was that SUPER GOOD!!!!!! Our son was visiting from Seattle and we got to share this with him. Next, well try a pizza pie!!!!

Bongiornos Pizzeria is great! I had the little nook burger on a brioche bun with half order of the Buffalo wachos and half green dragon. I loved the spicy green dragon sauce on the wachos.
