The place is old, dingy and dirty. I rested my hand on the wall right next to the buffet and immediately withdrew it because it was covered in sticky, greasy grime. The staff is not very friendly with the exception of the cook. He is super friendly and always has a smile on his face. I agree with the other reviewer, they need to have kid friendly prices. Although the food is delicious, my family and I go to the nearby casino more often as their prices are more reasonable and the restaurant, including the bathroom, is always clean and the staff is always friendly. At one point, they offered free refills on the rice and soup. On one visit, my family had a lot of refills and were told that we werent allowed free refills any longer. I dont think that is good business practice to just suddenly change your policy during a guests dinner. The only reason my family continues to frequent this establishment is because of the food. It is delicious. It is better than the Mongolian BBQ in El Dorado Hills. That is the only reason. If I could, I would rate this establishment 2 1/2 instead of 3 stars.

Love this restaurant. The service is excellent. Love that I can pick out all the vegetables I like and the amount of meat thats right for me and my husband can take what he wants. Very healthy meal accompanied with a clear chicken egg drop type soup and rice You can pile the bowl over full because it cooks down and you get to watch the gentleman that stir fries your meal to perfection. Reasonable prices and always room for any size party. Thank you for Mongolian BBQ for being where you are and wish you would come up the hill to the Placerville area also.

We have been coming here for years, the food is always fresh and always has a clean bar... the staff is super friendly, if you take the time to talk to them. Our drinks never stay empty for long, and our bill is always waiting for when WE are ready to leave. I especially love how Miss Kim takes the time to show my young ones how to use chop sticks! We adore this place, the food and the prices are perfect!

So listen, we have been going here for almost 20 years. Food is good. You can make it how you like it. They NEED to have some kids prices, though. I can get for an adult to charge $10 + $2-3 for a drink, but when families come in, they need to have a better deal. I would go more often, but it costs too much. Nice people. Lunch is ONE time through. Dinner you can go through multiple times.

Best Mongolian around. The owner is fantastic. Who Im assuming is the owners wife, and also usually serves the tables, Im guessing deals with a lot of bull from customers. I make it my life goal when I walk in there to make her laugh. It sort of happened once. It was a great day.

Best Mongolian BBQ anywhere! Ive been to more than 20 Mongolian BBQs around the country and this is still the best. The customer service is a bit rough as I dont think the owners wife speaks more than a few works of English. However; the food is incredible.

The food is great, the place is a bit run down and the staff arent friendly but they take care of things, all about the food here. If youre new to Mongolian...You make your own Mongolian bowl of raw stuff and they cook it.

Went tonight with my family for my dads 88th birthday ( about 20 people) food was not that great and staff was very unfriendly and too expensive ( same price for kids = ridiculous ) but the cook was awesome !!

Ive been going here for almost 15 years. Its not the prettiest place ever, and prices arent cheap, but the food is top notch. Ive never been to a place that has as good Mongolian food as this one
