The verdict: Good food that arrives in a timely manner, but mediocre service. The savory crepes and omlettes outshine the small selection of sweet crepes, something that could perhaps be overlooked in any restaurant not named "Crepevine". Dont let the long line deter you, it goes by quickly, and even for our party of 5 and a full restaurant the food came out within 15 minutes. They have sizable portions, and can easily be shared between two people. You order and pay at the register, the tip portion is filled out here as well. It is not full service, there are people who run out food, help out, and bus, however no dedicated servers. The Mazatlan omlette is a solid choice, along with the San Francisco, and California savory crepes. The French toast also is very good, not soggy not dry but crispy and moist. For dessert we selected the midnight blues and the Santorini crepe. The bananas seemed a bit green in the midnight blue, and it was hard to detect the rum sauce. The standout flavor was the sour bananas, with tart and sweet blueberries, but it was otherwise bland. The Santorini also lacked any distinguishing harmony of flavor, overwhelmed by marscapone and not enough cinnamon. Both crepes perhaps would have benefited from a tablespoon of powered sugar, something the French toast had an advantage in.

I was going to rate this as 2 stars, but bumped it up, since they had water bowls for the dogs, and the staff was super pet friendly. Ive really been looking forward to trying this place. We live in the area and pass by it all the time. We finally made it in for a Friday lunch. We tried 2 meal crepes and a sweet crepe. The shrimp curry crepe was the best, easily. I will say though, i dont have much experience with curry to compare it to. I dont recall what the other crepe was, but it had chicken. It was very bland. I did get it with the fries, and I enjoyed those. I like the way they make them here. The desert crepe was disappointing. I think they mixed fruit juice with chocolate sauce in the Nutella berry crepe. There wasnt much chocolate in it at all, and I wouldnt guess that it was Nutella. The fruit wasnt very impressive either. They seemed like supermarket berries that were picked to early, and didnt have good flavor yet. Also, even when the restaurant slowed down, the servir didnt get any better. The staff was nice, but so dang slow! Our cups were empty most of the meal, and we were just drinking water. Maybe if I go again, Ill just ask to try their most popular meal, and see if thats any better.

3rd visit and still loving it. We got there around 930am on a Saturday and surprisingly it was not that packed and we were assigned seats immediately. Our previous 2 visits were around 10+ and it was jam packed. Both times we had to wait for quite a bit for tables to clear up. Ordered a Tri-Berry crepe, a Ham and Cheese Omelette and two lattes. Our food was amazing, almost wanting to slurp up everything that was on plate. Though our neighboring table seemed not too pleased with their choices, they are less than half on their plate and one of them was asking the other if he liked his food. So I guess the dishes have some hits and misses. Thankfully, our choices so far have turned out pretty well. The drinks, on the other hand, were bad. I dont recall them ever serving us good coffee but well, they never said they specialize in coffee. My go-to place when the crepe cravings hit.

I went to Crepevine for lunch and the only thing that was pleasant about the experience was the fact that it was fairly empty. The crepe itself was good, but literally everything else was 1-star worthy. The music skipped on the speakers (1st world problems I know) and I asked them nicely to do something about it - they did not (keep in mind this is not a busy time of day and they are well staffed). I had to get my own water after 2 waiters asked me if I wanted water and never brought it out. However, it was the salad that pushed me over the edge and compelled me to write this review. I found two small bugs in my salad and the lettuce looked like it was the "let-me-wash-this-back-in-time-to-before-its-expiration-date" salad. The crepe itself though was good so there is one star in my rating for that. If you just want a crepe to go, this is the place for you!

Great place and excellent service! We had a party of 4 and a dog, but 2 of our party were late. Without us having to ask, Giovanni told us that hed make sure we got a nice seat outside in the shade. We waited in line, ordered our food, and sat down while we waited for our friends. When they told us they were coming I got up and got back in the line but Giovanni told me to sit down and when my friends came hed move us right to the front of the line. Great service to remember that one party still had friends who needed to order, even though the line was long and the restaurant was crowded. We really appreciated it. My fruity crepe was pretty good but my wifes philly crepes was one of the most amazing breakfast foods Ive tasted in my life. Unfortunately I dont live around this area but if I did Id be back frequently!

Not terribly impressed recently. I almost never have a complaint about the food but the service can easily be sub-par. I used to work in food service so Im quite patient. But the last two times they forgot 1 out of 4 dishes we ordered. Last time, i told the waiter and they fixed it ASAP. This time, got up, told the waiter, waited 10 minutes, nothing. Went to the cashier, reviewed my order, then she apologized and immediately talked to the cooks to expedite the missing dish. Mind you we only come here for Sunday brunch. (Sarcasm) The best time to eat out obviously. So, food is always good and worth coming here. Service can be hit and miss. Ive never had service that the waiter didnt make it right ASAP. Here or anywhere. This is a first and Im quite dissatisfied about it.

A favorite burp in the San Francisco Bay Area (Peninsula). Meal and desert crepes, omelettes, Benedicts, sandwiches, fresh salads, and freshly juiced veggies and fruit! I think I covered it all :) Moderate prices. Roomy enough for groups. Family friendly. Cant take your foul legged pal inside, but the entire area is pet friendly - have a leash, your pal should be fine in the sidewalk - or, you could just get seating outside (sidewalk seating) to make things even better. Definitely a popular spot and there will ALWAYS be lines and a short wait. Location is perfect - its a foodie corridor if you will :) Paid parking and will be a challenge on weekends.

What an excellent meal we had here at Crepevine!!! Fresh food and friendly service are what stick out to me. We enjoyed a brunch and ordered savory crepes, though several others in our party ordered other items. Everyone was happy with their meals and it was priced fairly and came out tasting great. GREAT gluten-free food, too! Decent selection for those with allergies, as they cook it separately and there was no cross-contamination (one of our party has a severe allergy and did not have any symptoms)! This is a local favorite, but I really hope to get back and visit so that I can return to Crepevine!
