A lot of MOOs died for my BBQ MOO BBQ is an AYCE Korean BBQ where you help yourself, save for the meat. Side dishes, soup & other accoutrement are laid out buffet-style. Need rice paper? Go get it! Want soondubu? Pick up the ladle! Ive been to this restaurant in its prior iterations, so I was anticipating how MOO BBQ would differ from what came before. $14.99/lunch (3 meat items at a time)- Quite a few protein choices are on the lunch menu. Unfortunately, tongue is not included. Unstifled by that circumstance, I went for my usual - beef belly, squid & large intestine. All the meat were fresh & there wasnt a long wait for them to be brought out. On my second order of large intestine, I was told MOO BBQ was out of it. However, about 5 minutes later, the staff brought out a plate of large intestine & said "this was the last one". Im not sure if they were telling the truth or just being stingy with the large intestine, but I was happy cutting up the offal into bite sized pieces, awaiting the fatty goodness which endears me to large intestine. Trust me, give it a try if you havent already. Good stuff! The side dishes offer a little something for everyone. I mainly stuck to the various kimchi, raw skate banchan, soondubu, miso soup & pumpkin porridge. I was reticent about trying the pumpkin porridge, as I thought it would be too sweet. It wasnt! It had the perfect balance of sweet & reminded me of mashed sweet potato with almond/coconut milk, which I eat almost everyday. For the sweet tooth, there are various fruit, a soft serve machine offering vanilla, chocolate & swirl and sikhye (Korean rice beverage). The sikhye provided a refreshing sweet end to a fatty, heavy lunch. Service was good. Our grill was offered to be changed twice. The staff were on the ready with refills, meat requests & clearing empty plates. Plentiful seating, with booths all around the buffet area. Several flatscreen TVs had sports channels on, while KPOP kept my toes tapping and head bobbing while I showed off my grillmaster skills. A second floor is available to reserve for parties & other large gatherings. Parking is in a private lot, on the sides & rear of the restaurant. I MOO-ved in, and I didnt want to leave! W/o the long lines, the wait for food (other than the meat) & comfy booths, MOO BBQ has found a new fan. The meat quality & selections were good & varied, respectively, and service was top notch. I enjoy getting food on my own, as opposed to waiting for someone to bring it out to me, and having the option of chugging all the sikhye I wanted are reasons why MOO BBQ will see me again. Oh, yes! Ill be back, and MOO better have their large intestine stocked up, as I will ravage their supply like a walker from the Walking Dead. Highly recommend! NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM

Parking is amazing , except they dont really accommodate you. As there is a "no responsibility" sign, if your car is broken into. The physical restaurant was real comfortable, with nice cushion seating and level tables for any size human. The music in there was pretty hip and made eating enjoyable. The service was good. The two gentlemen that double teamed me and my associate, made life easy. The food was standard and traditional . The buffet was the complete list of side dishes you can imagine. All you can eat with 10 different meats you can choose. With fruit , vegetables, and rice! They even cut and manage your flame on the grill so you can be worry free about being a "chef" yourself. Amazing. Two thumbs up. At the end , the price was incredible. For two people one water, one ice tea, and 2 lunch orders of all you can eat. It was $35 bucks plus tip. Make Moo bbq your place. It is worth the visit. They do weddings too!!!

Theres something really tasty about Korean BBQ in southern California that I dont get with places in the bay area. We started out visiting the buffet stain with a large selection of hot and cold items. The wait staff will take your meat order at the table. From the menu you call out the number of the item you want. You can pick 3 items in one order. Because we have a group of 6, we could order 6 plates at once. I found the marinated meats much tastier than Gens a block over. Also they gave us much larger plates of meat. We brought a friend whos never had self coming Korean bbq before and he loved it. Its a bargain at $21 for dinner before drinks and tip.

I seen images of snorting line carrying a female who was drugged illegally drinks with ecstasy gun on table taxi driver pulling over and peing on side of car dancers. I wanted to hear more Korean language and culture. employee grab one another . Are they related or is it allowed or are they dating ? I thought words like heterosexual homosexual due I make you horny and gun hint .

The new name for this place is MOO BBQ. It is really cool new place that allows you to grill your meat selections right at your table. It is so fresh and tons of variety. Im going there again for lunch with some friends. I cant wait, Im coming hungry as it is all you can eat. This time, Ill try the special wraps they have... Nice, clean and lively atmoshere. I totally recommend this place if you are in the area. In fact, the value is so good, it would be worth a drive. It is right near the border of Artesia and Cerritos, just down from the Cerritos Mall.

A mix between a buffet and an all you can eat Korean barbecue. I came on a busy Saturday night and only took me about 15 to 20 minutes to get a table for two. Its a nice set up or you can get some prepare dishes at the buffet while you wait to get the meat. The bulgogi was good but the brisket was a little underwhelming. The meat was pretty good for what you pay for. The servers are very attentive but its hard to get their attention sometimes. Overall it was a decent experience.

Excelente recomendable, consiste en que elijes entre diversidad de carnes res, puerco, camarones, etc. Y tu mismo lo pones a azar, ya q en medio de cada mesa existe una pequeña parrilla. Muy original comida koreana

First time here. Service was great, quick and they were attentive. The meats were delicious, big portions, and ample selections to choose from. A buffet that comes included with many sides, suck as veggies, other items like soups. AYCE for $21 is not bad. The only thing they lack in is sauces, they didnt have sauces to dip, and our table didnt have soy sauce readily available. I will be coming back though, much more to try from the menu.
