After hh-ing at EMC, and going to the Bobtory plaza that was unexpectedly closed, my crew and I made it to Surawon. LOVE THAT THERES FREE PARKING! I didnt recognize this as a korean restaurant because the decor was that of a Mexican restaurant. This is a great group restaurant, as there are many dishes that are meant to be shared with 2-3 people. Their banchan was soo goood and Im such a banchan fan that this is +2 stars for me. Many of the dishes here are soup based- spicy and not spicy. It is a very mom and pop feel, and I recommend you trying the Gamchatang- pork neck and potato stew. The meat is fall off the bone tender. It comes with rice to mix the stew in. And at the end, you slurp down the stew which warms your stomach :) My only regret is not properly securing it in my car as my to-go portion spilled all over my car after falling down T_T

I went with some coworkers and we all got the bulgogi lunch. It comes with a vegetable soup that we all thought was really good. Much better than the typical miso soup. The bulgogi was good too, it comes with onions and mushrooms. Their rice is different too, it has what I think are black beans in it. Overall, I really enjoyed this place and will definitely come back again. I really want to try the all you can eat bbq.

Not a fancy restaurant, real mom and pop type feel with the same waitresses on any day I show up to have a $9.99 all you can eat buffet. Thsi is a place where you have to be vocal about what you want because they do not come around all the time to wait on you but they are readily available. The brisket is great and quick to heat up plus the spicy hot sauce keeps me coming back.

If you are not familiar with Korean bbq, this is the place to start. The staff are wonderful, they showed me how to cook the meats right (burned the pan my first time sorry about that) and introduced me to many different foods I have not seen before. If you got a group, 10 bucks a person aint bad.

The quality of food that you get for price makes this hands down the best K-BBQ that Ive ever been too and I go whenever I find that I have free time. I give this place a 10/10 in my book P.S. if you havent been to a Korean BBQ, know this, you have to cook your own food.

Love this place the meat actually taste real good and their soups are soo good. My kids Love this place. I tried the spicy goat soup and its awesome. And they dont include the tip on your bill like other places.

Really great service there!! Staff always come and go!! Great food also!! All you can eat. Though the plates get too close to the fire and start to turn black from the heat. Thats it, everything else is awsome!!

Servers sometimes take a little time to get to you when the place is busy but the food more than makes up for it. Come hungry and leave stuffed to the gills with delicious meat.
