I have been to this place when it first opened and i dont live in the area. I asked my non-korean friend who lives in the area to meet me there everytime i am in the area. I have been satisfied with food, but their service really turns me off. All young teenage looking workers, who cannot control their mood, who expresses their day through their tone of voice and face expressions to customers. I have experienced it twice now, once through a female server and once a male server. They are very disorganized, even when it is not very crowded, they dont have their duties and priorities figured out and all servers run around like chickens with their head cut off, but non-productive. My friend and I have been seated in a corner so that we can have a serious conversation, where no server has come to greet us for over 20minutes. When I finally called out for someone, 4 people had looked and went about their way, and finally I had walk up to the front and ask someone to send a server to our table. Then of course as I was placing my order, he couldnt hide the fact he was upset and when I ordered by the name of the food, he wanted numbers it was represented on the menu and slammed the side dishes down on the table, and rolled his eyes when we were questioning about missing meal that we had ordered. There are plenty of restaurants to go to, but it makes all the difference on how you are treated. I definitely will not return. I certainly dont want to pay to get treated like crap!

I came here during lunch with my coworkers and had a good time. Service was fast and they were patient with our big group. I ordered the pork rib tofu combo with the seafood tofu. The pork rib was very flavorful, Im a fan. The meat was tender and slid right off the bone. The tofu was ok, I ordered medium spicy and it was not spicy at all. The side dishes were good as usual, they even had the fried fish. The potato salad is probably my favorite. I sampled some of my coworkers bulgolgi and short rib they were great too. I think the food here is on the sweeter side. For dessert they offered the macaron icecream sandwiches, I didnt get to try unfortunately. They give you this peach tea drink after your meal, I thought that was good.

To set expectations, this is not a grill-your-own KBBQ type place. As the name suggests, tofu+bbq combos are their thing. Good flavors going on here, with quick snappy service (in my experience.). I especially enjoyed the cold noodle. Looking forward to having it when weather heats up again. Bonus: each person receives a fried fish included as a side, quite delicious (and this is coming from a person who generally does not enjoy fish).

As with every Korean eateries, price is usually high. This one is no exception. Service is slightly under par, and food, well, I cant say it takes first prize for being the best. Would I recommend to try it once? Yes. Would I return? No. Again, there are other eateries fighting for your patronage. If you like the glitz and glamour look, its an okay place to meet up, but I believe you have better options out there.

If youre into a la carte (non all-you-can-eat) Korean food, this is the place to be. Ive ordered the Kalbi (short ribs) and seafood tofu soup combo for $20.99, while my husband opted for the spicy pork for $17.99 - both good and tasted like how it was supposed to be. My favorite part of the menu is the combo deals. Theyre highly recommended for its reasonable pricing. We would definitely return for more :)

Yo pedí una sopa de hongos.tenía buen sabor. Te atienden bien y te dan arroz blanco y un charal doradito además de verduras japonesas. Me gustó todo.

Best all you can eat option I in ktown! Its a bit more expensive but the quality and fantastic service make it well worth the extra. Even better than the kbbq is their kalbi tang. Its a great soup for any time that isnt greasy, and so very comforting. It gets VERY busy so reservations are highly recommended for peak hours.

Probably only kbbq tofu place around the area. Get the combo, decent food, great for couples, love their side dishes. Use to be a Sizzlers. Their ktown location is ayce. Free parking lot shared with Souplantation, Costco etc. Takes credit card, staff is attentive with arm waving.

I ordered frim the lunch menu and was pretty impressed. Good price and a lot of food. I didnt finish it and took some home. I got a small deep fried fish as a appetizer which I wasnt really expecting and was very tasty and entertaining to eat.

This place was delicious! The Korean banchan is legit and the whole fried fish is delicious. Also, the light tea is refreshing and a great change to warm tea. I would recommend this restaurant to any of my Korean friends with pride.

Good variety and nice food. Like the fry fish, like the purple rice, like have choice of purple rice in bibimbap. Always under staff, but we arrive early and not feeling much different and small dishes replace fast.

Good food, good service, clean restaurant with nominal prices. That sums up our experience in oo-kook tofu and BBQ. There were very generous with the free appetizers and the entrees were not bad either.

Definitely one of the best Korean places Ive gone to in the Alhambra, CA area. The Bitmap is the best! I really like how its in Wicker Park as well. Ive gone multiple times and plan to visit again.

The kimchi was really good. Its a korean soup place. Galbi was pretty top notch. No need to hit korea town, when you have korean restaurant nearby in good ole alhambra.

Good tasting food. First time eating this type of food. Needed a little coaching but either way you eat it, the fusion of flavors and garnishment tastes good.

large portions of great food. the mushrooms and tofu soup is great in a mild spicy level. best to share meals instead of having too much

Good tasting seafood although portions are a bit on the puny side. Parking is hard to find since it shares the lot with Costco.

Not the best Korean food out there but always satisfying and never disappointing. Portions are long enough for 2 or 3 meals.

Good food. Clean. Spacious. Good service. No msg. They serve multi grain rice instead of white rice, which is more healthy!

Pleasantly surprised. Great for kids and lots of little touches of free stuff that make you feel taken care of.
