What We Ordered - 2 SPICY PORK JOWL!! :) My favorite meat of the night. - Spicy Pork Cheek - 2 Boneless Beef Short Rib - Beef Brisket - Wine Pork Belly - Kimchi Fried Rice We opted to order at least 5 tapas to get the free Kimchi or Soybean Stew. Wayyyy too much food for 2 girls haha. We could have done without the extra 2 tapas we requested last minute. The Spicy Pork Jowl and Spicy Pork Cheek were perfectly marinated!! I could eat both all night. The server suggested dipping the Spicy Pork Jowl in the Cheese Fondue... OMG. Heaven! :) The Boneless Beef Short Rib came in nice thick cuts and cooked to a perfect medium rare. Super juicy! I could have done without the Wine Pork Belly... to much fat on it lol. After reading all the raving reviews about the Kimchi Fried Rice, I expected it to be amazing. It was not lol. Ive had better homemade kimchi fried rice!!! I would not order this again. Service was spectacular! I love it when I dont have to grill my own meat. ^_^ They changed the grill quite often so nothing was ever burnt or stuck on the grill. Even though its not all you can eat, the meat quality is great! I cant wait to come back! :) Drinks: The Slamming Strawberry was super good!!! Its huge... so I suggest sharing unless the wait is super long. The Tap That was okay.. it got watered down fast. I would not get this again. Parking: Valet!! They validate after dinner so we only paid $3. Not sure how much it costs if you dont validate your ticket. Street parking is hard to find.

"This town aint big enough for the two of us." Move over Kang Ho Dong and "Reach for the sky!" Theres a new sheriff in this town! One plaza, two amazing KBBQ joints. Quarters location has switched restaurants quite a few times in the past years, no one could make it out of alive, until now. Fully renovated space allows for amazing outdoor seating deck and they completely blew out the wall to the parking lot so you can access the bar from the parking lot! Yeah you heard that right, as in you could be getting your car from valet at the same time youre drinking a shot of Bacardi 151...then drive! Or while you wait be drinking at the bar, now thats cool. Ive never seen anything like it. "Someones poisoned the water hole!" Look, Im not usually into those frou-frou type drinks that you typically get on the beach in Hawaii or Miami, but these beer margaritas are something else. Who doesnt like to drink a giant margarita topped with a beer? The flavors are delicious and the beers they choose to drop in there compliment well with the margarita. Start sweet, then end with Chamisul Fresh! Cool down man, its LA. "Theres a snake in my boot!" Quality of food and service here definitely bangs with Kang Ho Dong even with a slight twist on all the dishes and sides that you get. For instance, that cheese. Small bowl of cheese gets placed on the grill so that you can cheese fondue your own meat. Beef...dipped in melted cheddar cheese, dipped in salted sesame oil. Mouth orgasm.

I took this place down two stars for a few reasons, namely service and cross-contamination/sanitation. When all the meat comes out on the plates in the kitchen window, they put the receipt right on top of the meat... Gross. Who knows where those receipts have been. Back when I worked in places that used receipts, Id find bugs and other things and lots of dust at the bottom of the receipt box. I certainly dont want that on my food. Then, they partially grilled the veggie kabob, then put the hot veggie kabob on the raw meat plate next to the beef and pork. So wrong on so many levels. The food, however, was all very, very tasty. I especially enjoyed the steak from the large combo. I didnt enjoy the pork jowl, which is my favorite cut of meat. They cover it in a spicy sauce which is supposed to be spicy, but its more sweet than spicy here. The cheese also confused me. It didnt taste right with the meat. Not for me. The service was bare minimum; they grill all the meat for you and kind of walk away without saying anything and asking if you need anything. Theyre like zombies. I had to ask twice to get the attention of our waitress (who was cooking meat at our table) for more water. She just nodded her head. I found it so weird. There was another guy who took our empty bowl of salad away and didnt ask if we wanted more and never came back with more.

I love this place. Good food ambience price and service. BUT they have one flaw and that is the poorly educated valet parking staff. I am not sure how much Quarters have to do with the prking but they should not neglect this issue cuz this one staff arbitrarily charges $5 when it actually has to be $3. His dirty little trick is that he does not tell people they need a validation for a discount and charges 5 to everyone until you somehow see someone paying 3 and ask why. I even asked why its so expensive and he said its just the way it is. I would have believed and paid 5 too if no one had come right after me and paid 3 with validation. His stupid excuse was that he did not know i went to eat there but why else would i park there? I even verbally told him i am going to quarters. I even saw this other customer arguing with him and he never admitted that he was trying to deceive her. I asked my friends and i was not the only one who got ripped off. Everyone just paid 5 without asking. I do not want to say it is the whole parking staff members who try their best for better service, but this one guy who works on sunday night shift (4/10/2016) does this trick and be careful everyone. I will leave same review on major sites until this problem gets resolved and he gets either fired or retrained.

Quarters was a great KBBQ restaurant option. Its name is derived from having to order grilling options one 1/4 at a time however what is not really advertised is that you have to order a minimum of 5 quarters up front as far what I understood with prices ranging from 9.99 to 14.99 per quarter depending on what you pick. So you already know up front youre going to be upwards of $60+ at the table not including a beer or two or other beverage. This initial portion may be enough for a party of two and two small kids but not so much for larger parties. Over all I enjoyed the experience and take on KBBQ. The server was good and attentive with our grill. The ambiance was good. Having tried many KBBQs around town I cant really say the quality of the meat was better than an AYCE option but perhaps Im not a meat connoisseur and or perhaps the differences cant really be tasted when ordering the standard Bulgogi, marinated kalbi and brisket. Id give Quarters another try in the future though and maybe order other things.

Ok I dont know where I heard this, but people kept saying Quarters was owned by the same owners as Kang HoDong. But in reality they arent. Quality-wise, I have to say their meat is definitely up there. Its not all you can eat, but you still get your moneys worth here. I came with 11 people, and we ordered 3 large combos, lots of beer and soju, and also some side dishes. Came down to roughly $40 per person. Every since piece of meat here was tender. I like how spacey the inside is. It has a more modern feel, and the wait is half of that of KHD. We still waited an hour and a half, but the good thing is that they have a bar area right outside, so you can just buy a drink there and chill with your friends outside in the booths while waiting.
