Came here to Big Catch Seafood House a few days ago to celebrate a friends engagement. The restaurant opened up a few months ago and Ive been meaning to stop by. We tried calling a few days prior for a reservation for a party of 8 and we werent able to so we decided to come the day of and test our luck. We were originally quoted a 1hr 45min wait since they were pretty packed and they said they would text me when our table was ready. We were looking for other places to go to instead when I got a text back. One of the hostesses might have been new, she seemed a tad lost. Im sure shell figure it out eventually. Luckily, the manager made it happen somehow so shout out to him for accommodating us. Food was pretty good. Its pretty similar to the EMC food selection. Got the crispy brussels sprouts, the cajun garlic shrimp, and the truffle crab noodles. Unfortunately, they ran out of garlic bread, out waiter said it was great with the sauce that the shrimp came with which was kind of the reason why we ordered it. Well have to try it next time. Glad Big Catch Seafood House is in the neighborhood now and its another great place to dine.

I ordered an uni pasta, toro crab roll and a Lobster congee for three of us. The sushi roll is highly recommend. Uni pasta is good but the uni which was as the topping had bitten chemical taste to it. The chemical taste is more likely is from the uni which they used is put on a wooden/bamboo container. That chemical taste just ruined the uni pasta. Wish they could change to salt water uni. Lobster congee had a generous amount of Lobster meat in it. I could taste the lobster from the congee which was nice. However, the congee itself tasted a little missing, a little rice wine might helps. Table setting is not as ladies friendly, my friends had to carry their bags the whole time while they were eating, I just put my purse on the floor. Hooks under the table will be great although I could purchase my own hook. Owner needs to be aware of floor outside the kitchen doors and bathrooms is very slippery without any warning signs. This might cause them troubles if someone falls down.

Sister company to EMC, so you know its going to be good. Found everything here to be great. Their Fire n Ice was a nice spicy but refreshing cocktail. The truffle fries werent too truffley but nice & crispy. Fried zucchini with the yogurt sauce were quite tasty. Fried Brussel sprouts were surprisingly delicious. The Calamari were crispy with a spicy kick. The best thing there had to be the Uni pasta. It was so flavorful and creamy. Definitely want to come back during either happy hour for the Oysters and the $45 Sunday brunch.

Service and quality was poor. EMC is much better. I ordered the uni pasta and they seemed to use packaged ramen noodle instead of the hand made noodle that you see in their official pictures. Maybe they were trying to penny pinch? Who knows? All I know is that the uni pasta was nothing special. Ive had much better at EMC and elsewhere. Try to avoid this overpriced, over hyped place.

$1 dollar oysters on happy hour! I mean sure I was skeptical initially but those worries were tossed aside quickly as I sat at the bar and tasted my first five. They were the similar to the ones on their normal menu and the chef chooses, so just go with it. I kept ordering more and even though there wasnt a huge variance, the selection was great. They were also a good size.

Worth the wait. Theyll text you when your table is ready, so you can wander around the rest of the plaza and hit up Sprouts or Maido. We enjoyed all the dishes we ordered, though the truffle noodles with crab really stood out. The space has lots of televisions, so its easy to watch sports events here.

Great seafood spot! Excellent food, my girlfriend and I split an oyster sampler, and a big a seafood sampler ... big tray, packed with lobster, crab legs, muscles, clams, all cooked in an awesome, slightly spicy sauce. Pricing is reasonable considering the portions, and service was excellent.

Today I attended the opening party at this place. This place has got a beautiful ambience with indoor and outdoor seating. An open kitchen visible to customers and a bar with standing tables. Havent started the food yet. Will update a review about the food soon.

Food and service both are very good. Some may think price is on the high end. I think its reasonable and still lower then those in Pasadena. I had the lobster noodle. Wife had the sashimi seaweed salad. No complains. Definitely would come back for other dishes.

Excellent service, good bar selection but the seafood left a lot to be desired. If you are looking for Cajun go across the street. The clam chowder was decent but the tempura calamari was chewy poorly flavored , pass.

Appealing environment but I felt rushed. All our meals were brought at different times, cafeteria style. The food was okay except for the calamari. Generally, it is far overpriced for the quality and service received.

Luckily no wait to sit outside when we went. Service was excellent. Prices were a bit much for what we got but overall well worth it. I think if I have a good happy hour experience this would go to a 5 on next visit.

The food is fresh, quality better than average, but the quantity is small, and prices are high. Note: we only ordered sushi, sashimi, sake, and nothing else. Definitely dont recommend going here for the sushi alone.

Fresh fish but limited selection. Mostly suishi stuff here. Very very loud. Very Casual atmosphere with the higher prices. Everything is ala carte with limited side options and no salads.

Food is good. A bit pricey though, even for lunch. The uni pasta was exquisite....crab noodles was a bit dry.

Very tasty and fresh seafood, but some of our dishes took a while. There was no wait when we went for lunch.

Pretty good. Had the lobster roll. Wosh it had been bigger for the expensive price.
