This is one of the worst wedding venue of all time. The food here is horrible. I am not sure why a wedding venue would not offer the Bride and groom a bottle of champagne and asked that they bring in their own one for the champagne toast, that is absurd. This place serves one of the saltiest food Ive ever tasted in my life. Their fried rice is just white rice and eggs nothing else. Their lobster have no meat only Shell, what is that when theyre charging premium price. But the main issue I have with this place is the fact that they rent out the mini rooms in the area that the bride and groom have their wedding, so people who are not a part of the wedding are constantly walking in and out of the wedding venue. Its sad that they have to squeeze every little last drop of money that they can from anyone.

While still the size of a small sports arena, Empress Harbor has a cozier feel than your average dim sum palace. Service on a Sunday morning was good, with frequent cart passes and doting waiters willing to chase the occasional missed cart or whip up a special orders. Dim sum was good as well, with a mix of super traditional (rice porridge, bitter melon, etc.) and more casual fare (so many baked bao...). Tea charge is $1, which is nothing, and plates ranged from $2.29 and up, which is pretty darn cheap. Dont let the dingy shopping center surroundings fool you. Nice spot with good dim sum and great service. Ample parking, which is a luxury. Try something new, even the chicken feet werent bad.

Excellent service staff. We booked their banquet room for my mothers 80th birthday and we had a great time. Besides the authentic Chinese banquet food, the best feature is probably the fact that they do not charge a corking fee for serving our own wine and bubblies. The center that the restaurant was busy in its hay days and is now probably losing its customer base to the newer higher end and more modern centers that seem to have been popping out everywhere. Still, I am seeing some other new establishments that I will want to visit while I will always consider Empress Harbor one of the superior dining facilities.

I went here during the summer with a Meetup group on a Saturday. We got there right when the restaurant opened so there wasnt a wait. Empress Harbor Seafood restaurant is located in the Atlantic Place Shopping Center. Pros - parking, easy to find location. Decent service, interior is relatively new and clean, and takes reservations. Cons - quality of the dimsum was not on the same level as other places Ive been to, but it was an ok option for a large group (2 groups of 8+).

Dear lord, this place was delicious! I was craving Empress Harbor Restaurant and found it on yelp. We ordered the pork Empress Harbor Restaurant and pork pot stickers. They were very flavorful and the meat was perfectly seasoned. We also got the spicy mabo tofu which was good. Id recommend getting your food to go as the inside of the restaurant isnt anything special, with strong fluorescent lighting and lack of ambiance.

Came in at 1:30pm... I know it was a little late for lunch but I asked what time the dimsum was over and the sever reported at 3:30.. there were 3 dim sum carts going around and it was just the leftovers from their lunch service with very limited items (left over from lunch because nobody else wanted them). We ended up ordering from the regular menu. Food was decent, but Im definitely not coming back.

The best Dim Sum in LA. This place has anything youre looking for when it comes to dim sum. And the prices are just amazing. A perfect place to go with a large group of friends on a Sunday morning. Take a trip to Alhambra on a nice relaxing Sunday. Get some Dim Sum, than a massage, than some chinese deserts and coffee. Its heaven.

Good, solid Chinese Banquet-Style Seafood in a clean, and well kept dining room. We were in a private room for a family event that isolated us from an adjacent wedding. As of 8/28/2016 construction in parking lot causes access issues and delays. Enter through Garvey underground parking entry to save on headache.

Sunday morning Dim Sum, 15 minute wait to get in the door. Good carts with hot food, great variety. Got teapot replaced relatively promptly. Wife asked for shrimp balls and that cart appeared instantly. Bill was very reasonable, at $35 for two. Would definitely return, probably with a larger group.

Came here for my mother in laws birthday. We had the crab meat and fish maw soup, wonton soup, fish fillet and tofu casserole, Dungeness crab, and lobster. We enjoyed everything, the only thing that I wouldnt recommend is the crab meat and fish maw soup. Everything else was delicious !

My in-laws took me here for Fathers Day to celebrate my first fathers day. The food here is very good. i recommend the French beef, honey walnut shrimp and sweet and sour pork. Great for families. We went on a Friday night. Mango pudding for dessert.

it was awesome. they are usually very busy and the service are not that good, but the food is always awesome - traditional Chinese dim sum with great flavor. I always wanna eat the "pig feet and ginger", which is usually sold out around noon.

Great service and always friendly with the kids. If you ask for an item, they will happily call the dim sum trolley over or deliver quickly. Been a few times with another family and our group of 10 has always had a delicious and good time.

I have been here a countless number of times with my grandparents. Great dim sum with good service. I love the classic carts of dim sum that they go around with. Great place to host events as well!

Bad experience, Worst restaurant ever! If you want good Dim sum, please go to other restaurant with cheaper price. This restaurant is ripped off!!! Tea cup is dirty and it had left over tea on it.

Good flavor with limited number of dim sum dishes if you come in too early. Maybe there are more dishes if you come later but it might be too crowded. Hosts and servers were friendly.

Great dim sum. Options arent as varied as Im used to, but service was relatively quick and staff was very nice. Remember going in that this is primarily a seafood place.

Place for dim sum. Prices are higher than other dim sum places, but always no wait and plenty of parking spaces. Services are better then other dim sum places.

Great dim sum served from push carts and fairly priced. In contrast to other big dim sum spots in the area, i never had to wait to be seated here.

Old school dim sum restaurant with push carts, solid quality dim sum but nothing special like some of the newer places in the area.
