Fresh sushi, good service, great modern atmosphere and priced reasonably. I came here two nights in a row and sat at the bar while in town for business. The first night I had the salmon, tuna, ama ebi sushi that came with the fried shrimp head and the Alaskan roll (spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, avocado, asparagus and topped with salmon... The sauce on it was so good). The sushi was fresh and the roll was tasty with big portion. The second night I had the sashimi platter and it came with, yet again, big portions of fresh fish that I had to cut them in halves in order to eat them. The service was pleasantly tentative and if you were sitting at the bar, the sushi chefs were friendly, entertaining and still professional (I picked up that they have lots of local regulars that they know by name). Unlike other reviews that complained about their service, I fortunately did not experience this and they were quite busy for weeknights. This place is good for dinner date spot, special events and also for semi-formal business occasions as the ambiance is trendy (I love the fish tank). For the quality of food, service and price its a gem in LR!

Best restaurant in Little Rock! Actually one of my favorite restaurants ever! I was so excited that a place like this opened in Arkansas. The food is upscale, delicious, super fresh, and creative. Weve gone here more times than I can count. Id highly recommend the yellowtail appetizer, miso soup, spicy tuna on crispy rice to start. Make sure you try out the amazing robata! The ribs, scallops, and shisito peppers are my fav. For main course I love the black cod, hibachi rice, or any of the sushi rolls. Try the mummy roll for something really cool! All the desserts are amazing but the cappuccino jar is by far one of the best desserts Ive ever had in my life. Im hungry just writing all this!

Had the halibut tail, which was beautifully plated and had a light smoky taste which went well with the fattiness of the fish. My accomplices got the alligator roll, lobster roll, and we ordered the kiss me roll as an appetizer. We also got the mango tart, cappuccino (I forget the rest of the name, it had delicious creme brulee base), and fried ice cream flambe (which was very entertaining as the person who ordered it couldnt put the fire out). Everything was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere of the restaurant was really unique. Cant wait to go again and see what new delectable specials the chef has up their sleeve.

Some of the most delicuous sushi in Little Rock! Be sure to make a reservation on the weekends as they are very busy. You will probably not be able to get a seat at the bar during peak dinner times on the weekends and will probably have to wait by the door until your name is called. There are some times where we have had a reservation when they are busy and it takes up to 30 minutes to be seated. Other times, we got right in. Service has been slow, but friendly a few times but mostly its average speed and friendly. Nice cocktail menu and full bar. Love the food here and will continue to go back!

We ate at Kemuri for an anniversary dinner. It was our first time there and we learned what we were missing. Enjoyed the restaurant very much. the service was excellent, as was the food. We both started with the Miso Soup, very tasty. Our entrees were, for my wife the Wasabi Tuna Poke Rice Bowl and I had the Bibimbap with roasted pork belly. She loved the dish and would order it again. My entree was a lot of food and was so good that I finished it off. We both had a glass of wine. The tab, counting tax and tip, was $80, very reasonable, considering the quality.

NYC girl living in Little Rock, and I LOVE Kemuri. My brother and I have been going here regularly since it opened. The food is amazing, their wait staff attentive with that perfect amount of Southern charm, and the ambiance... Well it reminds me of NYC, which is why I bring all my out of state friends here. My favorites are the Crazy Monkey ( hands down the best Sushi roll I have had in all the high end sushi restaurants I have tried all over the US) and the Cappuccino Jar dessert. My name is Jonida Zeqo and I am addicted to Kemuri. The end ☺️

Husband and I decided to try Kemuri for a date night, and it was absolutely spectacular. Best food I have had in Little Rock period. Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, very friendly and attentive staff. We had several courses and all of the food was fantastic, but my husbands lamb was far and away the best dish of the evening. It came with a lightly spicy sauce, something Peruvian i believe, that blended with the grilled lamb beautifully. We will definitely be back!

All I can say is this place is amazing. The food is so flavorful and clean. Me and my 2 coworkers went today and the chef saw we were in uniform and had a complimentary "chef specialty" brought to our table. They also gave us 10% off our order! Wonderful, nice wait staff as well. For the money, you get way bigger portions than expected. I would recommend this to everyone and when I visit Little Rock in the future, I wont leave until I eat there!

Truly one of the best restaurants in Little Rock.. Brunch on Sunday is amazing as well! Even if you dont like asian food they have ALOT going for them and it is all top shelf food. The staff is super great too. I highly recommend their sushi, albacore garlic sashimi, yellowtail appetizer, glazed black cod, cappuccino jar for dessert, and trying some sake!

Amazingly fresh, creative and unique sushi experience with excellent service and atmosphere. Gotta have the fresh smoked hamachi, smoked in front of you in a goblet with cherry wood, fresh ginger, coffee bean, and black eyed peas. I also recommend the cajun salmon. Little Rock...best sushi around...odd but true.

I have tried almost everything on the menu and its excellent only thing I think is lacking compared to nice sushi restaurants in other big cities in the quality of fish for nigiri and sashimi you can tell quality just isnt there, having said that still the best place in little Rock for Japanese food

My Native American wife can be a real diva (shes diabetic) but I found the Kemuri staff to be very tolerant of her... More so than I even. It takes a lot for us to leave the house for dinner since we have so much imitation crab meat in the basement freezer but this joint is well worth it.

Great food, great service & great atmosphere. I took my best friend here to try it & we both loved the sushi, tacos, calamari truffle mushrooms & hibachi fried rice. The drinks were awesome as well. Will definitely be returning to try other menu items & recommending to friends.

One of my favorite places to eat. There are many perfect dinner options, and the sushi is the best in town. Their brunch options are unique and definitely worth it. Green tea pancakes, sounds weird, but amazing. Also make your own bloody marry/ mimosa bar for brunch.

This is my second time to Kemuri. I really do love this place. Best sushi in Little Rock, as far as Im aware. Plenty of other great, interesting, and exciting selections. Enthusiastic waitstaff. Fair pricing. Id suggest it to anyone I felt would appreciate it.
