This small café in a big city is a rare find! My wife and I went to this place for breakfast. It is in an industrial area of Tempe. Almost didnt see it for the semi-tractor-trailer parked in front. Fortunately the neon OPEN sign was easily visible and I made a U-turn. Ample parking on the side. Breakfast was delicious. The menu has at least two vegetarian options (Thats vegetarian, NOT VEGAN. There are dairy and eggs in most of the menu items.) The operators/owners will be happy to prepare any menu item to your request if they can. My wife had an omelet which had roasted zucchini, stewed tomato sauce with very well-balance seasonings. I had a traditional 2-egg breakfast with bacon and sourdough toast. The bacon is THICK! The sourdough melts in your mouth! BEST PART: We got there at opening (6:00am). The apple turnovers were still nice and warm from the oven! It was the best breakfast we have had in a while. :-) :-) Chatting with the owners was very nice, too. Great way to start a good day. Thanks, Peter and Peggy! ~Paul

Friendly, & honest service. Great food and quickly served. I came in on a Friday morning, luckily they werent busy. I was greeted when I walked up near the register and offered to see a printed menu with details. I ordered the Monte Cristo which was AMAZING but I opted to add egg. I ordered egg and it came out in mere minutes. I cant stress how good the service was. The only down side is they dont have non dairy creamer or milk; but the espresso is still deep and richly delicious. Ill definitely return for breakfast, and some day lunch! 5 months later this has become a staple at my work place. Every other Friday we order to go food. I think collectively weve tried everything on the menu, and its all delicious! & they never mess up an order, no matter how complex.

Quaint, simple, and yummy. The service is great, subject to the notion that you start at a counter to order your food. After that, go sit down and wait for good food at an incredibly good value (cheep for what you get). During our trip there (we are out of towners, and showed up based on reviews - we werent let down. Others have covered the details, but consider this as another thumbs up. :)

I own a business in the complex and it is by far the best-healthiest place to eat around. I am hooked on their Turkey sandwich. I have not tried too many things on the menu, because the turkey sandwich is too good to deviate from. They use all fresh-high quality ingedients and you know you are getting a healthy meal. The owners are very nice people and take pride in the food they serve.

I ordered chicken salad stuffed tomato. It was so, so. My husband ordered a monte cristo that said it had egg which was weird but he thought he would try it. It came out a ham and swiss with turkey on slightly toasted wourdough. It was not a monte cristo. He thought about complaining but it took so long to get in the first place he just kept it. Never returning.

Mmm is all I can say! Stopped by on the way to work and hoped it would be fast. After ordering the chorizo chile wrap and the green chili chicken sandwichn we got the cream cheese and triple berry muffins, both still warm from the oven and delicious! It took about 20 minutes for the wrap and sandwich to come out but its made fresh in front of you.

Probably the best breakfast place in the valley and weve tried a lot (Butterfields,US egg, etc). Coffee is THE best in the valley as well. Owners are friendly and you can tell that they take pride in their foods. We tried the spinach bacon Swiss omelet and the tuna melt sandwich and they were both great selections. Highly recommend!

They won by default due to being open later than other places around. But this wouldnt expect location is quite nice. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the Febuary sun while eating our French toast and omelette. The owner was very welcoming and happy to see us. The price was spot on and the food was good. We will return for sure.

On a recent business trip, I stopped for a coffee and pastry. It is obvious the owners take great pride in this place. They staff are friendly and the coffee and food is excellent. I got wrapped up in work and ended up staying for lunch. Definitely a place I will visit whenever in town.

I really appreciated all of the suggestions and the atmosphere. Its the little things...like cutting my toddlers grilled cheese into strips, suggesting cinnamon in an iced coffee, and having amazing desserts...I was very impressed both by the food itself and by the friendly people. :)

This place is awesome. Ran by two awesome people with big hearts and the guy really knows how to brew a good cup of coffee. Prices are a little up there, but but you are truly paying for thw service. The food is good and the people are better and the coffee is the best.

The food is very good! Very clean inside, friendly and close to me. The burrito I ordered was cooked perfectly, the bacon was fresh and cooked right. The end of the burrito was not hard as a rock like most places and the portions are very good. Will repeat over and over.

Fantastic service and even better food. I found this place while staying in the area for business in September 2016 and was so impressed we ended up having breakfast there every day for a week. My only disappointment was that I wasnt able to have lunch there, too.

As out of towners, we came here based on reviews and it did not disappoint! Great service, friendly and family owned operation (or so it appeared). The bread - seriously to die for bread on every sandwich! Wish there was one in our neck of the woods.

The place is quaint, clean and comfy. If you werent looking for it you wouldnt know it was there. Better than chain restaurants. Its Iike others have said, just like going to Grandmas... and if your grandma couldnt cook, dont worry this one can !

Their sourdough bread is the best! I go there at least once a week. Very polite friendly staff. Fairly priced and with the portion sizes, I can split it in half! I plan on trying everything but so far I like the grilled egg sandwich and chicken salad.

This place is wonderful! It is literally like you are staying the night at a friends house and their parents made you food! I love this place! The bread is amazing and the atmosphere is so warm and inviting. I am a customer for life now!
