This is an updated review. The first time I went they were unexpectedly closed which I think might happen a lot. However Im glad I checked back. I went in the afternoon and the place was empty. The lady at the counter took me through the description of perhaps twelve different ice creams. I go to a lot of ice cream places but Ive never seen the variety of unique flavors and textures that they had to offer. They were happy to let me sample many of the flavors; most of which were very subtle. Im used to American ice-cream so the textures threw me off a bit. But it was cool to try something new and Ill definitely go back to try the others. The people were very friendly and it was a neat experience. The atmosphere is a little lacking because their display cases in back were empty and the place itself is a little empty. However if it were busy you wouldnt notice and if its not I highly recommend engaging friendly staff in a conversation - provided they are not busy (sometimes just because a place doesnt have a lot of customers doesnt mean they are not busy with other work!) I would definitely call to make sure theyre open before you go. Ive driven by the place at least a dozen times before it was open. Fortunately its in the same plaza as a second run movie theater and a great Thai restaurant so you have all the makings of a great date night.

This is a fun, new ice cream shop. We stopped there after seeing a movie. They serve 24 flavors of ice cream. Most are standard flavors such as chocolate and vanilla, but they also serve several Indian "kulfi" flavors. We ordered strawberry cheesecake and cookies and cream - both were excellent. We also ordered ginger, sweet cream, and mango. These were delicious as well, and we got the experience of trying something exotic to us. Lastly, they also serve cupcakes and cake pops. We ordered one vanilla cupcake. It was adorable and every bit as good as the ice cream. The counter attendants were delightful and very helpful. Im looking forward to going there again.

I was badly missing indian ice cream flavors in AZ and boom! We discovered Jalsa! Best place for indian ice cream flavors! Malai kulfi and Paan masala are THE BEST. Mango flavor can be improved though.. But overall, a must try place.

Super friendly service, plus unique flavors (Indian flavors, lychee, etc.). This was a great change from the national chains. Our ice cream came with free toppings, and the prices are very reasonable. Were glad we tried it!

This a great place for some Indian flavored ice cream. My favorite was Meetha Pan and Kesar pistachio. They have lot other varieties of ice cream and kulfi. The price is very reasonable.

This is a nice place to hangout. Great flavors. My favorite was the mango flavor. Pan masala gives u a kick, a must have. Lychee - malai kulfi were good too.
