Ok, we need to talk about Soda Crazy. Frankly, I wish I had never tried this place - its obvious that its going to become a problem. Its way too close to my house, too delicious, too reasonably priced, and the staff is too friendly. Guys, I even broke my "no food in the new car" rule and drove all around town with Italian ice on my lap. Because I NEEDED it. Just... Just go. Its better than Zeppes, the people are delightful, and for $2.50 you can get a mound of Italian ice youll struggle to finish before it melts. Perfect summer treat. I should do commercials for this place. I could easily be their spokesperson. Get the mango or the peachy-melon. Get it with custard if you want, but it doesnt even need it. I would go right now and get some myself, but I was just there 30 minutes ago and it would be embarrassing to show up again already.

Im so glad I found Soda Crazy! They are open year round, and serve delicious Italian ice and custard, plus more. Perfect date night, girls night, anything... Friendly atmosphere and delicious treats. There something for everyone! Try the Margarita ice craze or orange cream. The Salted Carmel Ice is amazing too! Edit**** Last week I verified that their custard is real, made with egg yolks, and creamy deliciousness. Not soft serve from a powder! Also, try the coconut ice work chocolate custard... Its like a frozen mounds bar

I have known the owner of Soda Crazy for years , Great place to give your taste buds a refreshing baptism , you will not be disappointed because they have so many flavors and concoctions any if that doesnt do it for you they will help you invent some new recipes , these people are the nicest , most honest and remind me of the old school of where service and satisfaction are first and paramount . Great selection, great service, and the owners are usually on site which is a big plus. These guys have every other soda place beat with their addition of Italian ice to any soda. Personal favorites are a Butter Beer freeze, and Peachy Keen for a different take on Dr Pepper. My wife usually gets a Strawberry Mt Dew freeze, it is also amazing. The cookies are good, but usually too much for me with a sugary drink already in hand. That doesnt stop my kids from sharing one though.

I took my family to Soda Crazy and we LOVED IT! They had so many flavors of Italian Ice and flavored soda to chose from. The customer service was great and it was a family friendly atmosphere. My kids ordered The Craze, Italian Ice with Custard and a Taste of Heaven which was Orange Cream Italian Ice blended with white chocolate, and I had a Coco-Loco Soda. Prices are very reasonable and it was such as fun treat. We will definitely be back!

Awesome place. I got like a Mt. Dew Rickey and its not on the official menu but it was pretty great! We got an orange cream Italian ice that unreal great! My wife a island sunset soda I believe and she seemed to enjoy it and I thought it was awesome. The employee there was happy and helpful, we appreciated that very much. I highly suggest giving this place a try!

We love soda crazy. The owners are so sweet! She overheard me tell my son they didnt have gummy bears to go with his italian ice/custard. Hes five. To my surprise and his delight, she popped some on the top right at the register and didnt charge for them. We love their craze, which is a custard layered with italian ice.

This is definitely my favorite place ever! Haha my husband and I just moved from salt lake to Layton and weve been here three times in the past week (thanks to my pregnancy cravings). Every time we go in there we get the best customer service and the Italian ice is amazing! We definitely plan on making this our second home haha.

Delicious... Perfect for that sweet craving your having! Soda combinations that cover every desire from light and fruity to rich and creamy! The custard was perfect, and combined with the Italian ice is a surprisingly delectable combination. We received service with a smile and samples to make the best decision possible!

Im Italian and from upstate NY. I have been enjoying Italian ice since the early 50s, at a place called Petes Hot Dogs. It was the ONLY place Ive ever found real Italian ice. Now I have found it in Layton Utah at a place called Soda Crazy. DELICIOUS and REFRESHING. Theyll be seeing a lot of me and my family this summer.

The Good: Great prices! The mango with custard is to die for. Clean and uncluttered spaces allow for inside or outside eating. The Bad: I guess my only complaint is some cosmetic things. Considering the price and quality, this negative comment voids itself. Other thoughts: Give them a visit, you’ll be happy you did.

We cannot get enough of this place. The best part is it is family owned so the people running it really do care about you. They are super nice and they are pretty quick to let you try new things for free just to make sure you will be happy with your choice. If you are on the fence, stop wasting your time and go!

Very different & fun place. Saw it while driving by and thought I would stop in. Customer service was excellent (offered samples and explained everything), selection was amazing, and flavor was delicious! Obviously I enjoyed it so much I am writing this review. Will definitely be returning many times.

I stopped by to check this place out on my way through town. Italian Ice is my new favorite dessert. The Italian Soda is refreshing too but the custard mixed with some strawberry Italian Ice was awesome! I will be back the next time I am in town. They definitely have a great concept going.

These guys do a great job. The place is clean and these guys are super nice and friendly they make you feel at home. My brother introduced us to this and now we are hooked. I always get the coconut Italian ice with chocolate ice cream its like almond joy. Highly recommended

These are real Italian ices. I am from back east where Italian ices are popular. Its obvious they make their ices in store. Theyre awesome. You need to eat here so that when I visit Utah again I can keep coming here. I will stop here again before I head back east.

Awesome service. The soda is delicious and the Italian ice and custard even better. I recommend getting the craze, which is a layering of the Italian ice and homemade custard. The Italian ice comes in many different flavors, and change daily.

Great alternative to snow cones in the Summertime! The Italian Ice is refreshing and has a great texture. The Frozen Custard was really tasty, too, and combining the two together is genius. Quick service, clean tables, a great experience!
