I read some of these reviews before trying The Gelato Spot and I am glad that I gave it a try. We were looking for a place large enough to have a seat in a warm place on a cold Phoenix night with the family. Since a few reviews mentioned the staff, I was particularly pleased that the people helping us were very pleasant as my kids tried a couple of samples. I cracked a joke to the young lady helping me and got a decent laugh out of her, too. Great selection and highest quality. I tried all of the flavors my family ordered and all were fantastic! Since these two ladies (pictured) sat next to each other spanning two tables, I stood while my family took seats in a comfy little (gelaro) spot. That turned out well, though, because a seat opened in Hava Java, and so we sat over there and I ended up getting a wonderful Americano. Great experience and well be back. Give it a try!

Ive always recommended this place until now I arrived here about 4:30 and wasnt even greeted. This lady popped up from the back 20 minutes after we arrived. When my boyfriend and I were ready to order she was rudely on her phone texting I said excuses me 3 times and she ignored me repeatedly so I had walk up right infront of her face and ask if she could take my order. My boyfriend ordered two scoops and got half of one and I got less than that. Ive never experienced this type of horrible service and Ive been coming here for years. After I asked for a manager the rude lady behind the counter said she was the manager and I could call whoever I wanted. I will never come back ever again.

My wife and I love Gelato to the point where everywhere we go we try to find a new place to try, flavors etc. I have had Gelato all over the states and this is by far the ABSOLUTE BEST we have ever had. I normally do not make a point to write a review but we have never felt so strongly about our experience. We are from Nashville so no local bias. GELATO SPOT IS FANTASTIC!!!! Great service and wonderful gelato. Thank you so much for making such a terrific product.

I was in Italy the land of gelatos, I tried some delicious flavors mixed with those amazing historic places in Rome. The climate was hot reminding me of my beloved Phoenix Arizona where The Gelato Spot has nothing to lose in comparison of the ones in the Roman states! My favorite gelatos have to be the Coconut, Hazelnut, Pumpkin Pie and Rum Raisin, all has its unique and rich flavors! Now that Summer is around the corner... good times for my Gelatos!

The gelato is good as always, but the two female "servers" are both quite abrupt and extremely impersonal. Will make sure we limit our visits to the N. Phoenix location where they are very friendly (especially by comparison ). Would definitely pass on this location for somewhere they seem like they actually care that youre there, and not that youre a bother they HAVE to deal with.

Dont be scared of the lines they move fairly quickly. The staff is so friendly and helpful they allowed the mister and I to sample three different flavors. Probably would let us try more, but the line was long, so we didnt want to take advantage. My favorite flavors include the pistachio, sweet as honey, and the caramel.The waffle cone is excellent too!

I love this place. Its on my corner, so I frequent it often. The line is long on the weekend, but its worth the wait. And the staff is always super helpful and friendly. I also love that there are new flavors all the time. Oh, and if you dont know what you want, they let you sample as many as you like before you buy.

Great flavors. Malty salty cracked pretzel was great!! They have so many different flavors to try and Ive got back there twice. A little bit pricey but totally worth every penny. Its creamy gooey yummy delicious. Great for a hot summer day and for someone who does not love ice one cooler days I would still go back.

Now that I know how to control my weight with HCG Diet coming to my Gelato Spot and enjoying my weekly ice cream is one thing in life that I do not need spare! I love pretty much all their flavors and mostly the coconut and Tiramisu are to die for!

Their gelato is so much better than any place youll find in a mall. They have all of the classic flavors and some of their own. There are so many to chose from so dont be shy and ask for a sample.
