Well, I resorted to this place after findin out that 3 other Indian restaurants were closed down or closed for the week. I went here knowing the reviews were fairly bad. But, a lot of the reviews said how good the food was, but service was not. I could not agree more about the service. It was deplorable. I waited 5 min to be seated, another 10 min to just get a chance to order an iced tea and another 5 to order my food. Service guy, I will not call him a waiter since he did not do anything other than scribble a note and literally slide my plate to me. I am a nice guy and still said thank you, quite clearly. I received a mumble the first time and nothing the second time. That was just the service. I am not an Indian cuisine snob however I do know my Indian food VERY well. I am lucky enough to live in Riverside Ca. Home of some of the best , diverse Indian cuisine out there. Lamb Tikka Masala: Frozen lamb. Definitely refrozen more than once. Tikka Masala, definitely not home made and if it was, they should be embarrassed. I took a chance and ordered the special house made Tikka Masala Fries. Odd fusion of Pakistani and American. I say Pakistani because there wasnt a hint of spice in the Tikka Sauce. It was SUPER bland. Tasted like they smeared tomato paste on fries and added Feta chunks on top with a cream sauce that I could not identify. Although the fries did look very good, until I ate them. Also, the Bismiyati rice was old, burned at the bottom rice was included and was VERY bland also. I suggest going elsewhere. Not a very good experience at all.

A friend of mine introduced me to this place, she absolutely loves this place and was skeptical of how good this place could be. I have been there multiple times with friends and have been able to try a variety of dishes. The samosas are excellent especially with the mint and tamarind sauce. The pakoras were also very good. I tried some of the hummus that my friend had gotten and I am pretty sure it is one of the best hummus I have ever had, they added a bit of additional seasoning to it that gave it a great flavour especially when dipped with the naan. The mango lassi is a great drink to try, it is filled with mango flavour and is very creamy and rich. (not as rich as a milk shake though but is still very filling) The tandoori chicken is very excellent, it is filled with flavour, has a nice char to it and very moist on the inside. The chicken-tikka-masala is the perfect complement to warm rice, the chicken is very moist and the sauce is amazing. The sauce has a nice creamy texture to it but it isnt too rich and is filled with flavour. I am fairly certain I could just eat a big bowl of rice with this sauce alone. My only complaint about this dish is that there isnt enough rice for all of the sauce they give you. Now I know why my friend adores the chicken tikka masala at this place and comes here regularly. This place deserves five stars for its great value for money. $20 worth of food here will leave your stomach and taste-buds very satisfied.

On July 22, 2016, we went to Curry Corner for lunch. This was my first ever Desi lunch outside my home country Pakistan. The food was incredible. My host mom ordered Arabic Plate, dad ordered Traditional Curries (Chicken) and I ordered Chicken Korma. Every bite of the chicken was so enriched with flavor and Desi taste. Honestly, if I have to give a review on Curry Corner? I would give four out of five. Not because its a Pakistani restaurant and I am giving some favors but it really has a good quality food. The tandoori Naan is so fresh and soft that you can eat hundreds of them without complaining. It is an authentic Desi food restaurant. They have so many options and everything I have tried has been amazing. The food deserves 5 stars. However, when it comes to the service and interior decoration it deserves 1 star only. The service is not good but if you can wait I am sure you will get the best Desi taste in the valley. If you would like to taste Desi (Indian/Pakistani) cuisine then this is definitely the place to go. Try their garlic Naan, Chicken Korma, Tikka Masala and Biryani. I also would like to mention that it is a great place for college students because it isnt too expensive. Although I came many times since July 2016 and I will be back again and again but I still would like to thank my host family for bringing me here and making my experience wonderful in the United States.

When we arrived last night, I wasnt sure if we were supposed to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. There wasnt anyone around to seat us. A few minutes later a waiter came out, asked if we were eating in, then pointed to an area of tables. We took it upon ourselves to choose the table at which he wanted us to sit. Service was slow, however our food came out very quickly. Garlic Naan was very good. Tika Masala Fries were pretty good (they look awesome though). Chicken Makhani (murgh makhani our butter chicken) was very good. Lamb Curry was very good. Back to the less than desirable service...either they dont bring a bill to your table or my server was just lazy. After waiting quite some time I went up to the front and paid. I have no problem with that, but if thats how it works, at least let the customer know. I noticed many people ordering to go. If Im back, Ill probably do the same. The prices, in my opinion, are awesome. $25 for all the food mentioned above plus another meal worth of leftovers. The service was meh. The food was very good. I recommend to give it a try. I gave 4 stars because this place is basically a hole in the wall and not a place Id expect spectacular service, but I came here to eat good Indian food and it met my expectations.

There is no seat yourself sign, but go ahead and do it. they seemed to be having a little trouble with togos so I let the ordering process delay slide. Im a firm believer that if youre in a hurry go somewhere with a drive-thru. After the chaos with togo mix up, my order was taken and the food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Delicious. The only way to put it; delicious. Disappointed that no one checked to see if everything was okay or to get a refill. The only time I was talked to again was to bring my check that I did not ask for. Here was my biggest problem: When someone ahead of me was cashing out at the register, the server could not understand what the customer was asking for or needed to pay. Not because of a language barrier, the server had to reach into her pocket to turn down her i-pod while her headphones were still in her ears. I mean, cmon, unacceptable. Great food, but you can only ride the coattails of being on a tv show for so long before people want good service.

A cozy Indian restaurant that serves several different types of curries and meats at a reasonable price. This place seems family owned and was featured on a Guy Fieri show, and they have a rather large display of him behind their cashier. I came with over 10 of my family members and we tried an assortment of dishes. The Chicken Tikka Masala was pretty average- it was a tad too spicy and I thought served an unsatisfying amount of chicken. The naan bread was also only OK, I preferred it with garlic but found some pieces slightly burned. I also tried a bit of the mixed tandoori grill and there was barely any flavor or seasoning, although the meat was tender. The best dish was a green curry lamb, which had good flavor. This place is affordable and good for groups, but just standard in terms of Indian food.
