The snack bar in this little Indian grocery store run by a Gujarati family offers the best Indian chaats and snacks in the Phoenix Valley area. Not only is the taste absolutely YUMMY, the cost is also fabulous - all items cost only between $3 and $6. Everything vegetarian. Little India also does a GREAT job on bulk orders for parties. You can order Indian chaats, snacks and sweets in bulk, as well as main course dishes such as rotis/naans, curries, etc. Again, everything is vegetarian and the cost is awesome on bulk orders as well. I had vada paav for the first time in my life in Little India. It was so good, I order it everytime I find myself at this store. The snack bar is very popular, with limited seating you have to find for yourself. In the evenings, be prepared to wait for some time and to grab a table before somebody else does. The rest of the store is a typical small-sized (two-aisles!) Indian grocery store in America.

First time experiencing Chaat, all of the food is vegetarian. I came here with some friends that was familiar with this place; I am pretty sure if I came here alone I would be pretty lost on how to order. The food was pretty cheap and tasty. I tried a bunch of things for $10 and was very full. The samosas were probably my favourite. Luckily if you dont know what the things on the menu are...there are pictures...but it definitely helps to have a friend that knows Chaat. You get a piece of paper which has the menu and mark the items which you want and hand the paper to one of the workers. then when it is ready they will take the food out. This place wasnt exactly the most clean place I been..it is just barely acceptable..This place is also a store for indian groceries. The cashier can be a bit intimidating to say the least...

It is necessary to put forward that this is not a 5-Star Michelin Restaurant, and if it were it would not be as good I am certain. I have had Indian food in many restaurants in many countries and can say this is the best Mattar Paneer that I have ever come across -- and the prices are phenomenal. That said, you need to realize that this is grocery store with a snack bar basically. The tables are plastic, the dishes are throw away, the water is serve yourself warm, and the ordering can be confusing... This is named Little India and I think it fits the bill. I feel like I am getting real Indian food and have that homey feeling when there. If you want a restaurant with full service, menus to the table, and a quiet dining experience then look somewhere else, but you will miss out on the best Indian food around.

Excellent Indian food for the low-budgeted student! Awesome chaat, batura, malai kofta; every dish had a different taste, unlike other Indian restaurants which have the same taste for every dish on the menu! The place could be a little crammed, although we didnt need to wait for a table on a Sunday evening. The store has a large variety of items, and deserves a visit, especially if you like snacks.

Good place to have Indian food. Its a group of Indian women who prepare the food. So the food tastes the best and homely. Groceries are good decent variety. The cashier guy is a pan biting weird old man who is rude and is unable to communicate/pretends he cant communicate politely. So watch out for him. Otherwise overall a good place for weekend visit for Indian food and groceries.

A great little culinary adventure that wont break the pocket book. Delicious traditional Indian food is served in a very casual setting (a grocery store) where you drop off your order at the kitchen door. Make sure that you are not in a hurry as the service is not rushed, which is perhaps its only drawback if you are hoping to stop by for a quick lunch.

I was cooking an authentic meal and needed some ingredients from this place, the gentleman who was working there was super friendly and helpful to explain to me the difference between different products and make suggestions of what to purchase. Plus he explained the best way to cook, preserve and store the product. What a great experience!

A great and inexpensive hole in the wall kind of dining/shopping experience. I wish they had some more drinks in the grocery section. Service was relatively slow on my last visit. Staff is alright, but the real reason to come here is the food.

The shop is small but has lot of Indian spices and snacks. It also have a chaat kitchen inside where the dishes are yummy and very cheap. Especially samosas and the combos are awesome. They also do bulk order for parties and other events.

Samosas, Choley from Heaven. Best Vada Pav in town. To go place for take home Depla and parathas. Only hick up is that the Paanwala UncleJi in the cashier counter wont take credit card for any purchase less than $10.

Your quick-and-easy Indian option. Only wish they stayed open later on weeknights. Their samosas are worth their brag and our family swears by their curries for party orders. Also their fresh-made chappatis.

Poor overall experience with the place and service. The person/manager at check out was very rude to customers. I will never go back to this place, definitely not with my family.

I love there in-store kitchen. However, I would NOT buy anything from there reg. store, as groceries at those prices are really expensive. I would try Lee Lee for that.

Best chaat in town and as good as in India. For those who dont know what chaat means, its basically Indian Street Food, you will love it!
