Walked in and no one addressed us. Ok, fine, first time here no biggie. Maybe I dont know or understand how they operate. Finally after about 5 minutes, we seat out selves. My girlfriend and I were on a little bit of a time frame so we sat down. We timed it, 15 minutes at a table we had cleared and place the dirty dishes at the far end. 15 minutes before the manager or employee tyler came about. Since we had been there for a hot minute, we knew what we wanted but tyler only was interested in our drink order. 10 minutes later, we get our drinks which btw were wrong. Fine, ok no biggie lets just get this show on the road, we were going to be late. Ultimately we spent an hour and a half there. THIS WAS FAR TO LONG FOR THE SERVICE WE RECEIVED. The employees and manager was rude. TYLER IF you are a manager you should be demoted because that is no way to treat your guests. All in all, either they were possibly prejudice against lesbians or they were severely understaffed. Either way, my partner and I will never go back. I hope they treat others better than they treated us. By far, this was our worst dining experience. We thought that maybe it was just the Tempe location.....so we tried the West gate location. Guest what? They were the same way! We ended up leaving and going to yard house! Go see Megan at yard house! She is a rockstar and by far will meet all your expectations! Good luck to you bar Louie. The world has over come gays, why cant you?

I would give 0 stars if I could. My husband and I went there yesterday (on a Sunday) for lunch and much to our surprise it wasnt packed at all, should have been our first warning. We sat out on the patio where there was two other tables that were being occupied. We waited forever for a server to come out. Once she came out and took our order (entrée and drinks), it was probably a good 45 minutes before our drinks came out. I had the bloody maria, which was nothing to call home about. The celery stick that was in it looked like it was on the verge of going bad and had never been washed off. My husbands pina colada wasnt blended either. They said they dont do frozen drinks (wth??). My veggie wrap wasnt bad at all, but the side of broccoli looked like it was about to mold. My husband ordered the Voodoo sandwich and it literally had one tiny slice of sausage, that he said didnt even taste like it was andouille sausage. Meanwhile, our server hasnt come out once since delivering our food. We finished our meal and waited another 15 min or so until we decided to go in and find our waiter so we could pay and get out of there. Then they charged me extra for the broccoli that they said was included in the meal as a side. I was so ready to get out of there that I didnt even bother to ask her to fix our bill. Will NEVER be back!!!

I am not quite sure if the other reviewers attended the same Bar Louie our group did yesterday. Overpriced is probably on description we can agree on. Service was mediocre at best as we marveled at the number of staff on duty, yet the woefully infrequent visits to our table. I wouldve ordered one more beer to extend conversation with out of town guests, yet even with one server removing my near empty glass, the waiter refilling our waters, many staff including managers passing by our table as we were seated where they entered and exited the kitchen- not one person inquired until after much dead time and we were ready to depart. Happy was built up as drink specials as well as 1/2 off appetizers, the HH appetizer menu is extremely limited and you have to notice that the HH list is separate from the main menu. One other cleanliness issue that gets to me more and more is menus sticky from other patrons drinks and food. Restaurants really need to pay attention to this. We will most likely not go back.

Ive been serving and bartending for five years. I never write reviews but my visit with my fiancé to Bar Louie tonight was absolutely terrible. Our server completely ignored us the whole visit. We asked about a free appetizer we had and she told us she was going to ask the manager. NEVER did. Which wasnt big, but then she took our food order wrong and our food in return came out wrong as well. Our server was nowhere to be found. So we ate the wrong food because we just wanted to eat and leave. We asked for the simplest thing of silverware and napkins and some ranch for dipping and got NONE of it. Even five dollar burgers arent worth it when the service is so bad that it wrecks the entire meal. If you do venture to Bar Louie and have Monica the server, be sure to move because shell just blow you off. Disappointed and will not be going back again.

Walked in and was not acknowledged, stood at the door for about 5 minutes before being yelled at by the bartender telling us its open seating. Sat down at a booth that was dirty (only one open) and waited 20 minutes to get the table cleaned and to get our drinks. There was 4 of us at one table and we all drank our drinks before getting asked for refills or food. Our waiter came back, took our order, and never thought to ask us for refills. We waited 30 minutes to get our burgers and one sandwich, which I should add, my sandwich came 5 minutes after everyone else had their meals. (A different waiter served our food) and then it took us 20 minutes to receive our bill and head out the door. I would not recommend this place at all. Service sucked but the food was mediocre.

We come here almost every week and love the food. Burger Tuesdays are the best! Weve had so so service before but this last Tuesday was probably the worst service Ive ever had at any resturant or bar. I can always forgive a mistake by a waitress but this girl was rude to us from the beginning. She flat out yelled at a girl in our group and was mean from the moment we sat down. Then she proceeded to get at least five of our orders wrong and completely forgot to put one order in. After waiting twenty minutes for the missing order it came out WRONG again. We asked to speak to a manager and she told us she couldnt find one so she would just "pay for it herself." We loved coming here but this service has ruined bar Louie for us.

Service was friendly-ish and was mostly accommodating. Mostly stayed on top of refills and as the stay was taking far longer than we wanted the server was very willing to get our tabs taken care of before our food arrived. Which brings us to the big draw back. It was an hour and 15 minutes from order to food. That is something that should be mentioned at some point before we ask 45 minutes after ordering. The food was a good value at $5 for a burger. I might be disappointed at $10+, but at $5 I can see coming back (when it is not busy or when we have all night to sit there). The rest of the party raved about their pizzas. A return is likely, but never when we have to be somewhere afterwards.
