I would like to tell everyone not to even bother going to this place. I took my wife on a date and we went to Topgolf in Scottsdale on Saturday. First time there and looking forward to a dinner and checking out the place. First of all we drive to the place and literally it took 15 min to find a parking spot. We were greeted by a guy in a golf cart willing to bring us to the front door. He was informative but after we got to the door the place was a mad house. It was so loud, confusing and crowded the entry way was a 2x2. We tried to find the restaurant that we asked a young guy who happened to only be there 4 days he told us. I asked him where was the restaurant? He took my wife and I to the bathroom area. We of course said no the restaurant. He did find another employee that took us up stairs to get some dinner. We found a table and sat there for over 35 to 45 min. After 4 to 5 employees just walked by us this one young lady who happened to be an employee we saw her looking around. My wife asked her miss we need service but this employee was so consumed with what she was doing she could careless what we said except she said to us. Do you smell smoke? My wife said yes the guy behind us is smoking. She then told us that this is a no smoking establishment and we thought this must be a NO service one as well. She then dashed off only to bring back her boss to get the guy to stop smoking an electric cig which by the way who cares. We then had a guy ( so called employee ) who was not very professional walk up and said to us.. What do you want? We just found ourselves a bit overwhelmed with that question since we are the customer. We where stupid enough to put up with it. But he took our order of two drinks and an appetizer and he wanted our credit card without even bringing our food. We found this to be odd as well. He then dashed off and we waited and waited and waited for our food.. This nice waiter showed up and his name was Mac, he was professional and very kind understanding that we where there and no service was the problem. We had another employee stop by the table and lay his arms on our table and said this is my table if you need anything I will get it. We once again where amazed at the behavior of this place. As we waited we observed the cool concept of this place but without service this place will eventually go down hill. We finally got our 6 nachos and two drinks and my wife asked for the check right away knowing we would be there much longer then we want to be. Then I ordered a second drink which by the way never made it on the check and if we where not honest we would have walked away after eating our 6 nachos.. Our bill came out to 37.79.. this was outrages.. and by the way that second drink did not even come in the same glass shape and my wife thought that was odd and so did I. So, my advice SAVE yourself the cash and the aggravation this place needs management skills and employees with knowledge on how a place needs to run. And dont bother calling the office to explain your experience no one answers the phone and corporate doesnt return calls. Natasha is her name and forget it no return calls after waiting since Monday. that is 5 days. Oh and by the way the feedback online will only allow 1500 words..

Horrible place. The only TopGolf within 600 miles of where I live. Was going there while in town for my birthday. Met at the door and was told we couldnt bring in any drivers, fairway woods, or hybrids. Asked "why" and was told that people were hitting them over the net. I explained that on a good day, I might hit a 250 yard drive, and that would be counting the roll. Still... no go. I dont get why a place like this would take the most fun clubs from everyone because some 2 handicapper caught a couple of really good balls. Tell the long hitters that they cant hit long clubs, but let us average Joes enjoy ourselves. I asked if they would give me a 30 percent discount since they were taking away 30 percent of my clubs, but the answer was no. Needless to say, I didnt give them my money. What kind of fool builds a driving range with insufficient barriers, then punishes the average customer? To make things even more frustrating, the person at the door said, "this is the only TopGolf in the country with this rule"...as if I am now 600 miles from home and just want to go another half way across the West to find another one. Great suggestion. I was ticked of enough, especially since I drove 20 miles out of my way to go there, that I tried to call the TopGolf corporate office to complain directly to their CEO Ken May, or at least talk to their Director of Sales and Marketing Susan Walmesley. However, when you call their corporate office, you dont even get an option to have your call transferred. Mind you, this is a Thursday at 3pm Central Time - I would assume someone would still be in the corporate offices at this time. I honestly didnt expect these folks to "do" anything about the problem, but what I did want was for someone from the Executive offices to call the local facility management and ask them what the hell they are thinking. But, obviously that isnt going to happen either. Pretty obvious to me how much they really care.

I have been here quite a few times since they opened. A couple of those times were corporate events (*****) and a couple were just regular visitation (***). During the corporate events, everything was great but largely due to the budget of the hosting company. On the other times the service has not been great in the outdoor bar area, but that is another review for another day (many people were billed twice near the outdoor bar and servers think Cabernet Sauvignon is a white wine). Do not book a "social event" and actually be a popular person or run into people you know at the venue. Also, do not speak positively about this venue on social media while you are there as "social event" means "private event" to TopGolf and you will be charged for people who are near you, even if you do not know them all... The contracted amount of people are the maximum allowed near your unsecured area despite a fixed cost but increased revenue on the part of TopGolf (patrons will pay 18% gratuity for being near you). Just have someone arrive early and reserve a couple of lanes and wait the 2 hours, $1,000 will go a lot further that way. We moved everyone we knew to the bar area in lieu of breaking up the group but they chose to pack up our food an hour early without checking with me, regardless of the fact that we paid for a fixed amount of time. I am certain this company is trying to alter the definition of customer service as they do not seem to understand it. Constant defense of a poorly written "contract" and management continually blaming their employees for a flawed policy is not service.
