If I could give this place no stars I would. My husband and I are currently eating here as I am writing this review. We ordered the queso fundido. Its disgusting. Its just a bowl of melted shredded cheese. So greasy. We were expecting a dip type of appetizer. Not a melted block of cheese. Luckily they were nice enough to take it back. We both ordered chicken chimis. Also gross. Food game out barely lukewarm. Also if you are going to put sauce on a chimi at least make sure its on the menu that it comes smothered in some sort of enchilada sauce. Rice comes in a pile on plate like from a ice cream scoop and your beans come in a tortilla bowl which is now completely soggy because of the river of enchilada sauce. Service was decent. But I will not be returning. PS. They still tried charging us for the melted cheese bowl that we didnt even eat and sent straight back to the kitchen. Ridiculous.

This was a worst experience I had at this place ..went to eat a Sunday there was not a lot of people in there and we order and it took about more the 30 minutes to get our food people that came after us were helped before us and when we asked for more chips witch we asked 2 waitress for some took them about 10 minutes the when I received my food was not good at all I have had aguachiles before at other places and this was bad it had no Chile it was just in pure lemon juice and had about 8 shrimps in it , I was so disappointed and to top it of when I paid my ticket I have notice they charged us for two drinks we didnt even order smh worst experience ever

I ordered the chicken soup. There was a LOT of broth which was good tasting. Lots of big chunks - of chicken (white meat), carrots and white potato. It wasnt bad soup, but Id never order it again - nowhere near THAT good. I was there with a fairly large group and they said theirs were really good. They looked delicious. I tried one persons ice cream with whipped "cream". Yuck. The ice cream was pretty good, the whipped cream was fake and much worse than the soup. Service was okay. Prices are pretty good. Dont order the chicken soup.

Went for lunch asked for 3 rolled tacos plain they brought them with guacamole theIwaitress said I told him plain. I cant eat it allegic to avacados. They brought back 3 plain and they had some green stuff I flipped them around he washed them and deep fried them again still had guacamole on them he had flipped them upside down so I couldnt see them. I called the manager and told her what he did she apologized he made me new ones after the fact I will no longer be eating there.

Husband and I came in and waitress or hostess did not welcome us at all she just asked if it was just us two I said "we are waiting on two more" we sat down and she just gave us menus and walked away ... we said thank you for nenus and kept walking away .. we waited and waited to see if she would come back to ask if we wanted drinks and nothing so we got up and left ... will not be coming back ..

We have been steady diners for our Saturday breakfasts for the past four years. My wife has the "Machaca" plate most of the time and I always have a bowl of "Menudo." We love our breakfasts here and the servers a fabulous, especially Teresa and Leonor (Leo)! We brought our neighbors here and they are now customers. We cant say enough good things about this quaint Mexican restaurant!

Depending on what you order the food is good. There are alot of old people (you feel like your eating at a retirement home). The staff is friendly but not enough staff to give you great customer service. Overall not bad and the place to go for the best authentic mexican food in the Surprise area. Recommend: whole fish filet, ceviche....carne asada is all right.

My fiance and I really like going for the ¢99 Margaritas on Tuesdays and Thursdays and against the other reviews I do have to say we usually get great service. We were very disappointed to find d that they were closed at around 11pm on a Saturday when the website said they were open till 2am. Ruined my birthday surprise for her, thanks a lot :-(

I paid $28 for 4 tostadas!! In no shape or for. Were they good. They were ok, and overly priced. My coworkers (non-Hispanics) told me good things, but I should have known that it was not as authentic as they advertise. The restaurant itself is decently nice and clean, but the price is outrageous!!

Got lunch to go. It was pretty warm in there, wouldnt have been comfortable had we eaten inside. Food was just ok. I would say pretty bland. The waitress was very friendly and provided good service even though I placed a to go order. Good size portions for the price but wouldnt eat there again.

worst experience. the food was not well cooked,the service was not polite. either you speak english or you speak spanish. i order chicken fajitas and they pored a lot of pepper on it. told waitress and i didnt even get refund on it. will not recomend this restaurant at all. it discuss me.....

Very poor service from the waitress, they gave me my drink and food and after that they never went again to ask me if I need anything else or more drink. They ask me right away if I was done so they can bring me my check. Please read the reviews and dont go to this place.

The young waitresses working were great i took advice from one of them and ordered a caldo de res, the corn was cold, unfortunately i rate my experiences as pass or fail, because of this , you FAIL! Oh and no discount for cold food.

This place has improved! The food was delish the presentation was fabulous. Even the chips were warm. We have been here several times for the last few years, but WOW! They have stepped up the game! I will be passing the word!

The service here is usually terrible. We really like the food here, but out of the 8 or 9 times weve eaten here weve had decent service twice. We will not eat here again. Its a shame...
