My husband and I have patronized this establishment since it originally opened. We have always had a positive experience until our last visit on July 18, 2014. It was Friday and their fish fry day. We cannot eat "all you can eat" and so asked for the "guppy" portion which we have done in the past for $5.99. We each had a large Blue Moon and asked for a lemon slice instead of orange. We received orange as she did not even listen to us! Our dinner consisted of one piece of fish that could be eaten in three bites, some frys, and 1/3 cup of slaw. It was happy hour and our bill came to $28.34. After the fact, we were told that the guppy fish meal was $8.99, not $5.99. One "small" piece of fish! What a rip off! Dairy Queen has a great fish sandwich for $2.49.

I visited this establishment on a Monday at around 7pm. I sat at the bar, there were two women at the bar a couple seats away and no one else at the bar. All available seats at the bar had dirty counters. I sat for about 20 minutes before one of the 3 staff behind the bar would acknowledge my eye contact and address me. I asked for a food menu and a drink menu. The bartender informed me that the do not have a drink menu, so I just asked for a Manhattan. I eventually received my drink and a "Philly Cheese-steak Sandwich" the drink was WAY OFF (deep red in color, terrible taste) and the sandwich was served plain and by itself with no side items etc.. I wont be back and I wont recommend. This is the type of place you see on Bar Rescue.

Sitting at the bar the bartender was nice, think her name was Laura. One of the waitresses I assume off duty was next to us ,she was trashed. The funniest part was that she was a buff girl and was saying really innapproprate comments, my girlfriend and I were really shocked that she was allowed to do this at her work. We finally got a table and had Matt as our server.Nice guy great service. The salmon was almost raw inside and the coleslaw was yellow and tasted old.My girlfriend has the northshore burger and it was good but the fries were cold and flavorless.Chilis is next door and that is where we will head next time, better food cheaper.

Me and my husband recently visited this establishment for our first time. We got seated immediately, our server Tiffany came over right away greeted us and made us feel welcomed. She was entertaining through our whole experience. The food was ok but we had so much fun with her. She gave us great recommendations on our food I had the wings which were half off that night they were excellent! My husband didnt listen to her and got the philly which was ok kind of bland. I would recommend going there and asking for Tiffany she is full of life and makes the experience worth it! We will definetly be back to see her again.

Pleasant servers, but overall - slow, bad tasting food, expensive, and dirty. We ordered chips and salsa, my husband got the fish tacos, our son got the mac and cheese, and I got the chicken club sandwich with sweet potato fries. Hubby also ordered two beers. My chicken tasted rubbery, my fries tasted like oil, and my husbands fish tacos tasted like they were truly pre-frozen. The worst part of all - the ladies restroom had overflowing sanitary disposal units. My husband also said the urinal was leaking when flushed. After a sub par experience and $70 later, we strongly advise you pick an alternative lunch spot.

My husband and I always enjoy our time at Lakeside Grill. There is a nice, friendly ambience, the staff is very friendly and the food is always outstanding! I most recently tried the wings, and in the menu it states you can have then grilled for an additional $.50. I love wings, anyway, and thought Id have them grilled for some extra crunch and I wasnt disappointed - they were outstanding. The only reason I rate a 4, rather than 5, is because I feel they may be a little short-staffed at times, which delays service and follow-ups (for water refills, etc). Other than that - theyre great!

My wife and I went out to Lakeside on a Friday night. We had seen this place before and decided to try it out. We had no idea that there was a fish fry all you can eat. I got the fish and my wife got the buffalo chicken wrap. The appetizer we got was the fried mozzarella sticks. The food was great and our server made sure we had fresh drinks as well as more fish as I finished what we had. We finished it all off with a brownie hot fudge Sunday. Excellent! I recomend Lakeside especially on Fridays.

Used to be a favorite. My wife & I used to go once every week or two for nachos and a drink. Last visit, we went in and were seated at a table. The place was not busy - maybe 1/4 full - but no one ever came to wait on us. Waitresses stopped at the tables where people were seated next to us (who came in after us) but no one came to our table. We sat for between 15 and 20 minutes because I couldnt believe we were being ignored. Finally left and dont plan on returning.

Very good service from our server Becky!!! We came in for dinner and watched dueling pianos what a great show. Becky was very good at making sure we had everything we needed. I left the cash for the bill and the tip behind the receipt in the check book(hidden behind the receipt). I left a one dollar bill on the apposite side. Poor girl ran out after us thinking i only left her a dollar. I got her lol, Im a jerk. Ru Ru Becky your the best.

We go for the Friday night fish fry. Its always really good. Weve been to lakeside at other times and ordered other things off menu and it was very good too. Staff very friendly and do very well with the amount of people that are in there. Only downside is it can be very loud inside, but thats to be expected with it being a sports bar. Update: Theyve increased the price of the fish fry to a point where its really not quite worth it.

After our first visit, Im not sure Ill go back again even though it is extremely close to our home. Both my husband & I had the club sandwich. It was very dry and quite boring. My husband had the fries and they were awesome, however, I had the smashed potatoes and they were very greasy. I paid the next day for eating them. If I do ever go back, I will not order the club sandwich nor the smashed potatoes. You shouldnt either!

I am in awe that they are willing to put their name and reputation on the line to stop people from drunk driving ( see posting by Tanner from 10/9/10). As far as the food, I visited for the first time 11/10/10. The appetizer was plentiful and great flavor, as was the antipasto. My waitress was attentive, informative, and simply pleasant. I will without a doubt be a frequent customer.
