I wish I could give no starts - what a bad experience. We came in the afternoon and first used the restrooms which were very dirty and smelled horrible. Once seated our server asked for our order, informed me that one kids meal was free, and that kids drinks were included in their meals. I also let him know that it was my daughters birthday and asked if they do anything special for that (my daughter turned 5 and had begged me to go here). He said they would bring out a kids ice cream and sing to her. Of course he said this in front of my excited birthday girl. Our food took a long time, came out cold, my daughters order was wrong and the waiter, who was different from the one who took my order was annoyed any time we needed anything. At the end he presented our bill and we were charged not only for all meals, but also both drinks - and yes you guessed it - no special ice cream for my anxious daughter. I told our waiter what the order taker had said and asked if the charges were correct. He came back and said - ya sorry he told you wrong - this is your bill. I then let him know about what was said to my daughter - and again he said - "wow ummmm, now I feel bad - but ya here is your bill." He didnt offer to do anything for her even after knowing the situation. I promptly paid the bill and left - amidst my daughter asking why they didnt do a treat after all. So disappointing for my little girl on her special day. Way to go IHOP :(

I ordered take out this afternoon. Now nothing is wrong with my food, everything was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. However, the service I received was definitely not what I was hoping for or expecting. I came in and there were a total of MAYBE 4-5 tables in the entire restaurant and there were about 4 servers that I could see, and a manager all in the server section of the kitchen. One server came out and looked at me, then went to sit at a table and roll silverware instead of even greet me or let me know someone will be with me momentarily. I waited a full TEN minutes before I was finally greeted and helped by the manager. That is ridiculous. I have been a server before and I understand when youre on the end of your shift all you have left is to roll some silverware and go home. But you are still on the clock and still working and could AT LEAST let me know that Ill be helped shortly. There were also a couple servers just standing in the kitchen. Customer service needs to be worked on here.

I will never go there again! Took them about 10 minutes to even acknowledge that me and my family was there got to our table it took about another 10 minutes just for someone to come and get our drink order then talking another 10 minutes just to get our drinks and then we ordered our food took about 30 40 minutes for food to come out n I asked for a refill on my coffee and when they brought it back there was a hair in it and then closer inspection of my uncles food there was also hair in that I ask to speak to a manager and it took them almost 40 minutes just to get the manager to come over to me I was ready to walk out without even paying for my food ridiculous that its poor customer service

Visited restaurant twice. 2 times too many! First time late morning for breakfast. Yes it was busy and I expected a bit of a wait but was okay with that. But when I got my eggs (over medium) they seem like theyd been made quite awhile earlier in mass and out in hot water to reheat. Sickening And inedible! SECOND TIME: Hamburger and fries nothing special. Two bites in and noticed something green on plate besides lettuce. A nasty green bug!!! Definitely unedible!!! Flies on the Windows made it all pretty gross. NEVER AGAIN

Ordered breakfast for dinner my boyfriend got a chicken dinner and an appetizer. I cannot handle when the appetizer is brought out 17seconds before your entree. Breakfast was alright. Appetizer was a strange quesadilla with spinach and chicken in it. Chicken was rubbery in chicken dinner and potatoes were dry. No extra plates for appetizer and peppers were missing from appetizer. Overall clean, and friendly staff but the septic smell ruined the taste. Put some smell good in the pipes and I might give a better rating.

Was there the other day and food was ok.. but as we were leaving an employee was sitting on the bench outside by the door with her tight red shirt unbuttoned to let her belly hang out. And was picking her nose and ...I mean digging in it . And flicking it on the ground.. right there in front of the business. I really do hope she washed her hands. Before handling food!! No wonder they got rated a "D" tonight on the places inspected. Yuck!!! Will not be returning ever!

I love this IHOP always great service and amazing food I love the French toast especially. I always come at all hour of the night because I work night shifts. Well I just tried to go at 230 am and they were closed. Now Im unsure if the hours changed but last I remember they were 24 hours and online says its 24 hours so I would appreciate either the times changed online so people like me dont get their hearts broken and stomach left empty!!

Its ridiculous that my wife 3 little kids and myself waited more than 6 minutes and was told 3 times we will be with you. As soon as two young ladies walk in, they get service. I wonder if being on their personal phones was part of their IHOP duties. I will never waste my time or spend my hard earned money here. Good riddance.

We just had excellent service from Tobiko. She was on point with every request, constant check-ins for refills, great attitude! My fiance usually hates eating out because service at most places is lacking. He said if every place we went to had servers like Tobiko, wed eat out more. Kudos to this IHOP for hiring a rock star!

THE WORST PLACE IVE EVER EATEN AT SERVICE WAS SO SLOW FOOD WAS OUT AT DIFFERENT TIMES SERVERS HAVE NO CLUE ON HOW THE FOOD INDUSTRY WORKS COOKS DONT UNDERSTAND FOOD ORDERS WOULD NOT EVEN RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO A HOMELESS PERSON EVEN IF IT WAS FREE. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just wanted to post to let others know that this location does NOT participate in the "Kids Eat Free" programs that IHOP advertises on TV and elsewhere. Seems messed up for a location like Surprise with a median age of 35 and mostly families, but thats the decision this management has made.

We have been to this IHOP a few times and really havent been impressed with their service until our visit the other day. Our server was absolutely on top of everything and we could have been more satisfied. The food is always good and the coffee is always hot! What more can you ask for...

My family and I waited 5 min to be seated. Nobody acknowledged us there. it wasnt busy. As we walked out another customer stated he had to chase a waiter down to pay. We left and ate at chilis. Chilis was very busy, however we were greeted and seated right away.
