I simply love this place I was turned on to them by a member of the credit union that I work at. She knows them personally and brings us goodies all the time to die for. I went here and ordered a graduation cake for my daughter not only was it twice the size in depth than any other cake youve seen in the valley plus it was awesome, I had some leftovers due to the size (A half sheet was more klike a full due to that) so then froze the the rest and oh my good frozen or defrosted again. I have nothing but good to say that this place and so happy to have been turned on to them As I am from New Jersey and a true East Coast Pastry Person and nothing comes close to that here in AZ with the spectacular selection. Had no problems with the service so all I can say is everybody has a bad day once in awhile! Love it Love it Love it!

The bakery is great! However, the girls running the front end are very pushy, not friendly, rush you and do not smile. I asked several friendly questions to the same young girl, and both times she seemed like she didnt want to be there and had no life or smiled. Shame shame, especially being in the heart of a retirement city. Treat the customers with a smile. Were going to a bake shop for goodies. Most customers are in a friendly mood when entering. Were in fir a treat, why not make it a great experience. Rather than have no life or character from those helping the front end. They are your front line workers, the face and impression. Both of my visits i felt like I was being rushed.

5 star baked goods, 1 star service. Called a day ahead to make sure my reserve order had the correct time and was told "I have 150 orders, I dont have time to look" Wow, Im so sorry that I wanted to make sure my order would go smoothly, so I said to them that "I guess I just have to hope for the best then?" And they didnt say anything! They didnt even offer to put me on hold or suggest that I call back later, so I just had to hang up. FYI, looking through 150 orders cant take more than 5 minutes, honestly I hope this was someone new because that is not acceptable service.

Despite living far from this bakery, I would gladly drive 45 minutes for their amazing pastry specialties including something that I have found nowhere else in Arizona - Seven Layer Cake - and it is a uniquely tasty one to boot! Other tasty treats include Italian cookies, homemade Devil Dogs, Linzer Tarts, and more mouthwatering goodies. Truly a glance into a traditional New York bakery which is a nice reminder for this NY girl!

Lived near by for over a year now. Someone told me to try this place and WOW! Best bakery I have ever been to! The staff are super friendly and the baked goods are fantastic! Anything you could ever want they have, the quality and taste of the food is perfect! This is the holy grail of bakerys! Dont take my word for it, go try it yourself! Dont wait a year like I did! Now I have to make up for it, Im heading there right now!

My Jersey transplant loves the hard rolls. He says they are the closest thing to real NJ hard rolls he has found. We love their club rolls, too. Cheese danishes OMG. Pretty much anything in that bakery is fabulous. Donuts, cookies, muffins, tarts, cheesecake, eclairs. Not overly sweet either. They sell pizza dough in the sliders on the wall, too, and it is best dough in the area. A true bakery.

Sweet Jesus!!!! I think I gained 5 pounds from the parking lot! I cant remember a time when this bakery wasnt here. Every single thing is amazing! The butter cookies by the pound have always been my favorite. The variety of cakes and pastries means there is something for everyone! There are even sugar free options. Once you try their cakes, you will never go anywhere else. Enjoy!

Just watched the news about this bakery...a lot of great looking pastry...my only concern is that the owners chest hair popping out his open t-shirt may not be appropriate for sanitary reasons. The cup cakes may come with a chest hair topping. I believe when a business owner knows he will be on the news and represents himself in that fashion, it draws some concern.

My wedding cake was delivered with a missing tier inside, which made it lean completely crooked. I would overlook that whole issue, except for the fact that the owner was downright mean about the situation. She refused to take any responsibility for it... not even a polite apology. Ive never been more disappointed in a business customer service.

I just found this bakery yesterday... OMG they have such a wonderful selection of goodies. Delicious!!! Ive ordered a pound of the most yummy cookies for a party Im going to this weekend. When people ask me where these wonderful treats came from... Ill tell them exactly where to find this bakery.

This bakery is a true treasure of the Phoenix metro area. Everything is superb and without a doubt authentic. My only concern at times is a less than friendly staff member occasionally, but hey...its New York right? Nothing would keep me away from being life long customer.

Oh my god this is the best donuts in the whole world never had a glazed donut that good in my life. I got 10 dozen glazed donuts for my hot dog cart business. We pre ordered them the day before and they had it ready for us. In my opinion they are better than Krispy Kreme.

It is as close to New York and home for me as I can get. The people here are just amazing. Special thanks to the bakers in the back because they do a fabulous job in giving us the highest quality and best tasting pastries around. I highly recommend this place.

OMG! Great goods. They have some of the best Italian style baked goods Ive seen and eaten since we spent this last winter in Sicily. The cannoli are creamed not the coarse ricotta style that are more traditional but they are as good as Termini Brothers.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Great place to take your kid in and have a few pastries and coffee, and hot chocolate. Love the fact that you could see the bakers on the back of the register making the dough or getting ready to pop them in their ovens

Not a donut place, but you will get hooked on their delicious pastrys. The eclairs are to die for, and their chocolate covered cheesecake omg...I always leave with two boxes because I cant decide, so I buy a few things

This place is FABULOUS! I love the brownies -- and they are big enough to cut into 4 pieces; then I can eat some now and later! Wonderful breads, tasty desserts and more. Worth the trip!
