Slow start...they had a big noisy party to get situated. We were seated promptly but it took 15 mins to see a waiter. He was friendly but slow. Food was a nice surprise. Soft pretzel appetizers were soft warm and salty...perfect with the mustard sauce or cheese sauce or accompanying the salads. Nice wedge with tasty dressing, candied bacon and marinated pink onions with plenty of blue cheese crumbles. My burger was perfect as were the fries. Well cooked and flavorful. The pesto halibut was a winner and the 8oz filet looked a bit small but with the pepper corn crust worked well. Ambiance is the big detractor to the place. The bsr looks fun and inviting but the main restaurant is sterile and cold...really cold with the linear air diffusers showering you with arctic air conditioning all night. Staff are nice and food is excellent but the noise level was painfully high and discomforting. Well probably go back for the food and suffer through the poor ambiance.

One of the most expensive meals Ive eaten in the last 12 months. And the food was .... Okay. Not bad, but not worth what I paid. The brussel sprouts were boring. Bacon? Really? The halibut was boring. I didnt taste cilantro pesto. The mushrooms were good, but not spectacular. The coffee was STRONG, the strongest Ive had in this country. Seriously. Id love to say I want to go back, but I wont. The service was pretty good - certainly better than the food. If my meal had been $25 .... I still wouldnt be returning. The food was too blah. Sigh. Oh, it is beautiful. Although the three TVs are not a plus for me. The noise level was okay, but the restaurant was not terribly busy when I was there. I can imagine if it was full, it would be LOUD. SIGH.

On Wed. 9/21/16 went to this restaurant for a birthday celebration with my friend. This place is classy with beautiful decor, very clean, and has delicious food!!! This is fine dining. I ordered the halibut entree. It was so fresh and delicious that I couldnt stop eating it until I cleaned my plate. The wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable. The prices are reasonable and the portions of decent size. Would easily and gladly rate this restaurant a ten out of ten if I could. Will definitely return time after time. Thank you!

Very nice modern American food, very well prepared. Notably, the taco appetizer and the pork chop were particularly good. Everything I tried has been excellent. The service was a little spotty on a very busy night, but one of the owners stepped in quickly to make sure we had a great experience.

Excellent Food, Excellent Service. Cheyenne was our server. So sweet. Shout out to Craig & Brittany McDowell. Great job! Mark McDowell was working hard. Had the Restaurant Week menu. The Pork Cheeks were fantastic. Looking forward to our next visit!

We had a wonderful lunch at Drexyl today. Great service and well presented food. The salmon salad was good (although perhaps a bit short on greens) and the crispy chicken sandwich (brioche bun mmmm) was delicious. Recommended!

Amazing atmosphere, beautiful space, gorgeous and friendly staff. And the food & drinks? Absolutely top notch! Happy hour is a great bargain. Trevyn, the bartender, treated us like royalty. Dont miss this gem of a restaurant.
