The bar was fine and had a decent drink selection. I went their to see a favorite band of mine play a stop on their tour and was disappointed to hear that they were bumped to the "outdoor stage" at the last minute. It was clear their was a mix up and was pretty disrespectful seeing as it was monsoon season, and this was the first "outdoor show" ever at Rips. The show ended early BC of noise complaints. It was really too bad considering the rap group inside had about 1/10th of the crowd as the show outside. Really unprofessional way to deal with a seasoned touring band with many loyal fans. They should look into find somebody who can handle booking gigs.

Noelle is the best bartender Ive ever encountered. I honestly feel like the crowd thats generated during her shift is absolutely 100% due to her personality and ability to make everyone feel welcomed! I moved to Phoenix a month ago and Rips is the first dive bar I attended! Ive been to bars, and nightclubs all over the Valley since moving here and Rips is still my go to bar just based off the experience that Noelle provided for myself and the others at the bar! This is definitely the best locals hangout spot in Phoenix hands down!

Rips Bar, I LOVE YOU. Seriously. You are my favorite underground part of Phoenix where the music is always SO GOOD. SO SO GOOD. The first time I was here, I kind of lost my mind it was so good. We dont have places like this in Minneapolis, so when I left Phoenix, I left a little piece of my heart here. Word to the ladies: no heels. Youll thank me the morning after. Also, dont wear your dry clean only stuff, theres smoking inside here.

I do not recommend this filthy place to anyone. Ive been here about twice thinking the first time was probably a busy night. It takes the bartenders about 45mins to help you or to serve you a drink. The DJ is a douche! Me and my friends requested some songs and he said no, he clearly only plays music requested by ppl he knows. If you are looking for a place to have a good time with friends/good vibe this is not it!

Worst place ever for hospitality. They are disgusting and force you to leave when they call last call. You cant use the restrooms or finish not even half of your drink before an older black guy takes it from you and will absolutely not let you use the restroom. They shout be shut down with their lack of hospitality and manners. I will continue to let everyone know to never waste their money there

Nice crowd. Chill atmosphere. Drinks are slightly expensive and the bar is understaffed for the size of the Sunday crowd. Guys wait at the bar for drinks takes about ten minutes and girls are served immediately. Another bartender would have almost eliminated the wait and increased tips for the staff. Nice fun dive bar.

This place is so phenomenal that not even words can describe of great of an establishment Three Dots & A Dash is, which is a hidden gem in Chicago. Make sure to try the frozen special drink, as it was amazing:) Will I be back: HELL YES, and will recommend this place to all my friends!!

The place was awesome, but be AWARE of the girls behind the bar, they stole my credit card, and used it the next morning... Again, the place was nice, the music was nice, but one of the girls stole my card... PAY WITH CASH, those girls will steal!!!!!

The staff is very friendly and nice. Try the Magic Hat Beer. Yummy. They have a microwave for a snack. Sometimes for holidays and other events there is free food put out. Great music. The band Apache play here some times. Bring your friends.

Great venue for music - but its one of those places that is so dumpy that its actually snobby. Lots of regulars who act like they own it and are extremely rude once theyre drunk. Id go again, but not if I knew it was going to be packed.

Good drink specials and a venue willing to participate in local events. Servers are quick and polite. As a venue, the stage is TINY and therefore not too friendly to bigger bands, but a friendly sound guy.
