I always eat at Native and normally I have a good experince. That was until I met Mike the "BUSY BARTENDER"! Me and my boyfriend went to Native for carryout. We waited at the bar for over thirty minutes and while we were waiting my boyfriend began to get annoyed . He stated the Bartender kept looking over at us but I paid my boyfriend no mind because I know how men can be when there hungry. :) Finally he asked to take my order and he walks away to pour a glass of beer, I figure he can hear me ordering untill he turns around rudely and ask what do u want! I stated I just told you and the "BUSY BARTENDER" says it is loud in here I cant hear you. : / I asked why would you ask to take my order and walk away???He gets loud and storms to the back to get the manager. The manger was not helpful and was very rude. Rod/Rob( whatever) the manager asked in so many words, what did we do to make him walk off and not take my order. I still ordered even though my boyfriend did not want to and when I checked my order it was wrong and they fixed it but when I got home I had hair in it!

I normally like eating here. The wings are good and in most cases the workers are great to. This time though makes me not want to go back. There is a bartender there (I didnt get her name, she has curly brown hair) who was really rude. I ordered a drink and when I got it it just didnt taste right. It wasnt anything complicated and Ive been getting that drink for a long time. I said that it didnt taste right the next time she came up to me(Not in a rude way, I literally just said it didnt taste right) and she immediately started to give me a ton of attitude, slowly explaining what it was and what was in it as though I was an idiot and even saying I can remake it but its going to taste exactly the same"(Again, with a lot of attitude). Eventually I just told her to get me a sprite and she stormed off and Im pretty sure she complained about ME to her manager(he came up to me a few moments later and I explained what happened). I wasnt in the best mood but I was definitely not rude and a comment about a drink tasting weird did not warrant that kind of response.

The food is amazing, atmosphere is relaxing and fun. I have been regularly visiting this Native for over 12 years . Mike and Crista are the best bartenders around, both always have a smile , remember your name and drink of choice. They represent this native in the most professional and fun manner as possible. Whether its to take my 4 year old granddaughter for a quick bite,watch the UFC Fights on Saturday night or a drink after a long day at the office, I guess something for all. Other establishments will come and go but The Native New Yorker at 52st Street and Ray Road will always be there.

Havent been to a Native since it was Native New Yorker. The wings are good, they have a good selection of sauces and dry rubs for strips, boneless or bone in wings. I got the chicken sliders with tots, tots were like oven baked Ore-Idas. The sliders would be best left to the restaurant across the street, tough to beat. They have a bar, patio and plenty of seating. Thin crust pizzas and burgers. Its a full house on a Friday night. Looks like a good place to catch a game on Sunday, tvs all the way around.

Not a fan of this one at all, from the over crowded parking lot which was gravel. To the unusual dining menu, the only good thing about my experience here was the people that I was with. The place has a sea of NYC memorabilia which is fine but the seating and layout doesnt replicate a true NYC vibe. Dining in NY is a pleasant social experience and between the poor flavor and greasy food Id wish I had stuck to a authentic Mexican restaurant in AZ instead of visiting a touristy trap.

The wings are great but I just cant afford to get them anymore! I just order 3 dozen wings and 2 small salads to go and my bill was over $50. Not sure how the math is done at the store but a dollar a wing is outrageous! Even the bar tender had to do a double take at my bill! I liked it better in the late 90s when I could go to the Native New Yorker an get them for 10 cents! I guess changing the name to Native Grill is super expensive! I was nice knowing ya!

We will not order from here again. Had a pick up order for 2 pizzas. They made 2 pizzas but one was the wrong size. Instead of fixing the order they said it was too late and they were closing soon. 1:08 am on a Saturday night. You close at 2 am. I guess going home is more important than doing your job. This location has gone down hill a lot. Should have just ordered from the mellow mushroom. Their pizza is way better than native anyway.

The new manager is so rude seems like he hates his job i dont know his name but he was working on 1/10/2017 , HE IS VERY SHORT AND WEARS GLASSES AND HES CHUNKY at 7pm,his cst service skills are 000 he should be working at WALMART and not any food place,waited 15 min to order my food and 20 to get it, NOT HAPPY CST,NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS LOCATION,

Had a party of +20, started off with 3 waitress, after orders were taken, 1 waitress sweated the rest of the night. Food was okay, came out in reasonable time. Atmosphere around the bar, mostly locals. One waiter, with red hair was rude. Didnt ask nicely for my party of 6 in the bar to move. Overall, I wouldnt go back or recommend.

The most uninviting Native I have ever been to. The bartender and waitress were nice but you could tell that the manager just wanted to get out of there. I get that I was sick and that I just got something to eat but I feel that this is no excuse for making your customers feel like they should hurry up and leave. Awful.

$1 a wing? Holy shiteskies. Ok I gotm naked. Does it cost more to use less ingredients? And since I had to wait over 20 min for them youd think Id get a drink. Every bartender always asked if I wanted a soda while I wait. Not this guy. He charged me $2.59 for a soda. It must be the over 40 thing. NO TIP FOR YOU!!!

Am I catching Native on their way down? My favorite Reuben sandwich is off the menu, no ketchup or sweetener on the table. The fries tasted like they were cooked in old grease and the cheese on our potato skins was not good. Maybe theyre skimping on things to save $, but I wont go back to this Ahwatukee location.

Im not a big fan of wings and all but they do a decent job on the food and pizza. My wife likes wings and I suppose this is her best option for that in the area when we drive through sometimes. I dont like the fact that there is so many TVs. Just not my style of place I suppose.
