If you want variety, this is your place! Ive lived in the area for years and I just thought to stop by the other day. Boy, was I impressed! They have healthy frozen yogurt but also have a choice of 24 flavors of Thrifys Ice Cream (my husbands favorite). They also have a wide variety of toppings along with smoothies and shakes. With so much to choose from, I had trouble ordering my first time. Luckily I was served by the wonderful Mckenna and she helped me out all the way through the process! Such wonderful girls work here and they make me want to come back every time. I cant believe it took me so long to come into this place- Ive been missing out! If youve been thinking of coming in here, DO IT.

Really nice folks here. I believe they were probably the owners. Fairly typical ice cream shop pricing. DW loved the chocolate chip cone. I was less excited about my vanilla swirl though. Now sure if it was a low-fat variety (the machine label did say "Fructose" but I wasnt sure what that meant in terms of the ice cream. Mine tasted a little like "fake sweetener", almost like Aspartame, which I wouldnt normally confuse with fructose (which just means fruit sugar as far as I know). We might be back when in the mood for an alternative to Baskin Robbins to support them. But Dairy Queen will be where I go for my swirl fix.

Im going to give a 5 on the ice cream quality, friendliness and cleanliness, but a 2 on price. While the ice cream was delicious and they have a great variety of hard ice cream and frozen yogurts, for the life of me, I dont understand why it is almost $5 for two scoops of ice cream in the Valley. Maybe I cant get North East pricing for ice cream shops out of my head or we pay a premium in the desert? Cant imagine that is it though, we arent in horse and buggy transportation days. Anyway, great little ice cream shop for a rare treat, but be ready to drop $20 for a family of four.

I love that I can have tasty yogurt, flavors that change often so the selection is great, and its only 8 cal per ounce. Its a guilt free way to have a cool, yummy treat! Plus theres a shake they will make you after a workout. My kids love the thrifty ice cream, which you cant find just anywhere and is available in like 30 flavors. I want to thank Mckenna for great service, beautiful smile, and her ability to multitask but still make me feel special every time Im in. Its such a nice time of year to eat outside but the atmosphere inside is really great too!

I thought I would be a loyal ice cream customer forever. I was willing to tolerate the calories and extra weight for the pure bliss I received whole indulging. Then I decided to try Desert Swirl. Oh, how I stand corrected. I was greeted by Sharon with a large helping of cheerful demeanor and sprinkles of helpful suggestions and answers to even my most rudimentary questions. To my pleasant surprise, the yogurt was just as enjoyable as the customer service. I give it up to Desert Swirl and Sharon. I will be back again for another yogurt experience!

Not sure why anyone is putting less than 5 stars.. I stop in this ice cream shop at LEAST once a week. Twice if I have a really bad sweet tooth that day. They have so many varieties of ice cream, but they are the only place who has cotton candy AND bubble gum at the same time. It isnt more than $5 for two scoops, and it doesnt taste like a million artificial components were added (especially with those two flavors.) Stop in and give them a try. It beats spending $8 at dairy queen for something half the size, with half the love.

I cant say enough god things about this place. I stop in every chance I get. I live in southwest valley so it isnt often. However they have the best frozen yogurt than any other place. I go here because it is only 8 calories per ounce. Most other frozen yogurt shops are 80-100 calories for 4 ounces. Desert swirl is half the calories of other places. So you can indulge here without going off your diet. I have been coming here for years. Cute little place with outside seating. Ill be coming in for my yogurt tomorrow.

I have been many times to dessert swirl. I will continue to be a customer. The new ownership has revitalized the shop, but the top reason I will be back is the service provided. Sharon has been greeted me with a smile and never have a had mediocre service. She is always patient with my indicisions and I never feel rushed. I am very picky in the quality of ice cream I eat and the thrifty ice cream served is not only nostalgic to me but still holds up to quality.

I may be a little biased, as I have been working at Desert Swirl for 7 years, but DS has the best yogurt IN THE WORLD! The yogurt is extremely healthy without compromising taste! I have not gained any weight from gorging myself almost daily. Please, please, come by and visit Desert Swirl, you will not be let down! Me, along with the other Swirlers, would LOVE to help you!

We have lived in the neighborhood for 16 years and recently rediscovered Desert Swirl. We had been there once before but since the beginning of this year go very frequently. Their post workout smoothies are great and they serve Thriftys ice cream ( a childhood fav). Flavors change often and very clean. Nice seating inside and out, especially this time of year. YUM

The cashier had very bad energy tonight and on top of it put a very sharp broken spoon in my banana split. Wish I could post the pic with my review. I told her and she gave me a new spoon after the fact in a very disgruntled manner with no apology. Needless to say I wont be coming back. She should take the 1.00 tip of being less complacent in the future.

Their yogurt was very yummy, and they offer a ton of flavors and toppings that are all delicious, unfortunately they are located next to a nail salon so after the salon has been open for a few hours they stink like nail glue, so I recommend standing the stench long enough to order your treat and then eating your yogurt outside.

I really love what the new owners have done with the place! The store is always clean and has a warm environment. The employees are great too! I believe Kenna helped us out and she was patient and friendly. She gave us samples and really did help us pick out the best ice cream for both my girlfriend and I! I love Desert Swirl!

I cant believe Ive lived near this location for so long and never went inside! On a whim I went a couple days ago and Sharon was nice enough to help me out with the crazy amount of selection that they have. She was super sweet and helpful and really made it that much easier of a decision to come back again and try some more!

Im not usually a fan of frozen yogurt shops. But, I had the best experience last Sunday at Desert Swirl! Sharon is the sweetest, most genuine Desert Swirl employee and her customer service attitude is absolutely on-point. Ill definitely be swinging by Desert Swirl more often.
